I haven't been to a MB for ages and never at George. We had 2 l/carb Bfast @ R112 a slice Ciabatta R14 and a Serious Cappuccino R32. Avo a bit old but all together a wonderful breakfast.

We were here just for a quick coffee and tea. The local is quite similar to the traditional American breakfast diners. Coffee and tea were in a good quality. Prices are decent. The food on the neighbor's table looked awesome. I think, it’s a nice restaurant for breakfast.

I was a little disappointed that my 2 favourite meals are no longer on the menu. (French Meatballs and Thai Chicken bowl) those 2 dishes are so flavourful. But the Sesame strips with egg fried rice and vegetables were "stuffing" great. I am impressed with the progress M&b have made with their menus. But an addition of a vegetable protein like soya or Tofu as replacement for many of the beef and chicken dishes will ne even more progressive.

Best go to coffee shop in the entire George , there sides are amazing I also like their soups

If you're looking for quietness, where you can read and eat in peace. I recommend their carrot cake, moist, tasty, and filling.

Friendly service, tasty food, good coffee, usually busier than other nearby restaurants indicating it is probably the best choice for dining in this part of the mall.

Service was bad and employees were rude. Very overpriced and the portions were extremely small. Bacon was mostly fat and tasteless. Scrambled egg was slimy and questionable. Don’t suggest people going there.

Your usual mugg and bean, in a great place in the garden route mall. Food is always pleasant and so are the staff. Nice to sit out side in summer , normal mug and bean menu. Overall worth a drop by if in the mall.

Ordered an americano. Took 15min wait. while delivering to our table to tell me their machine is not in working order. Not very efficient. I proceeded in ordering a cherry milkshake. Was way too potent. Furthermore, I would recommend going somewhere else.

Don't want to say to much. Check the photos, I could do better myself, this looks so plain and unappetizing. Super dissapointed. Not to mention the bones I found in my burger patty yesterday! Atleast the staff and manager is friendly.

What a pity to think that i had today 500.00 for 3 meals. My chicken wings( 4 of 6) was still frozen. The chips was old and uneatable The lady serving us didnt even have a cloth to dry the table. I asked for vinegar. It only came to our table once i was finished with dry and olď chips. This was my experience at mug and bean in George.

Went to Mugg & Bean and had Bottemless coffee and breakfast. Was very nice and portions are huge!! The staff is really friendly and helpful. Will recommend people to go there.

Today we had our worst experience every at Mug and Bean in George. We were seated by 12h20, and was served our drinks within 5 min after placing our entire order. Then we waited and waited for our meal. Tables around us, arriving after us, had eaten, paid and left. We asked the server if they had forgotten us. When our meals arrived, it was cold the buns were tough from obviously standing somewhere. The chicken and chips were ice cold.. We wanted to send the food back, but we needed to move for our next appointment. Wait again, no.. After telling the server that we were upset, management did respond by giving a discount... I did not go to get a discount. At Mug and Bean one gets quality service and meals.. So I thought. Will I return, for now, definitely not.

Had a classic breakfast. Way below par. The standards have really gone down. You can almost taste the freezer in the fries. Bacon tasteless. And the chocolate muffin? You will do better to bake it yourself from a ready mix packet. Very disappointed.

The omelette was huge I could hardly finish it. Mugg and Bean is one of my highlights when visiting South Africa. They are like Wetherspoon in the UK, good value good food.

What can I say. As a customer that visits a Mugg & Bean wherever I go, this one in the Garden Route mall is very disappointing. A week before we also visit and since my mother is using a walking aid we were sitting outside. Went to the door and asked for a menu. Menu's were delivered and that was where the service stopped. Today again we were sitting outside, ordered cremmechino's and I went to buy something at Crazy store. When I came back the drinks arrived and were asked if we want to order something else. The waiter said she will give us a few minutes as I didn't had time to look at the menu. After a few minutes when we were done with the drinks she came to take the empty mugs away. That was where the serviced end. After more than 30min still no service while everyone around us were helped. I wonder if they will realize we were gone if we just stood up and walked away. I don't think this M&B will see me again.

The place to go for a good coffee in South Africa. We lingered awhile and the staff were most helpful. One Cake serving is enough for up to 4 people!!! The lemon meringue slice is huge!!!

We had the healthy breakfast, which was surprisingly healthy (no toast or bread at all, mounds of wilted spinach), and the Halloumi chips, which was the biggest portion of Halloumi wedges ever, at the price. Lemonade was mediocre, and so was the coffee. Service was OK, strict covid protocol observed (should sanitise pens between users)

Shocking for a Mugg&Bean. I've recently relocated from Pretoria where I frequent M&B at several locations regularly. In comparison, this M&B is terrible. Slow service (non-peak time). Overdone greasy eggs, rubbery bacon and then to top it all I was told I couldn't have my tomato fresh and they had to grill it because that's the way they do the breakfast. This is a first !! Won't go back.
