What a horrible experience, and such a pity, because this used to be a lovely spot. Booked two family rooms for 6 people. The bedding was extremely old, stained and with holes. Even worse, there was human hair on the pillows and sheets and RAT POOH on the pillows! Then the bathrooms, absolutely disgusting. When we told the staff, they checked them and did nothing, totally apathetic. I'm talking toilets so dirty and spattered with faeces and urine that no woman could sit down. The owner was not around, and did not bother to call us to sort this out. And the worst? This debacle cost us R10800 for 4 nights, so not even particularly cheap!! And they make you pay up front before letting you see the rooms. Now we know why. I used to send guests here all the time. Will never ever do so again. We all checked out after one night and had to get hotel rooms. That's how disgusting it is.

Great for the visitors but not for the neighbours! Please consider your neighbours who came to live here for the peace and quiet. If you turn the volume down we will all be able to enjop the Wilderness as it is meant to be enjoyed! Thank you!!!

We had a wonderful experience at Wild Farm. Surrounded by nature with an amazing view and happy people :) This place is perfect for relaxing and feeling connected to nature. Especially the adventurous hikes and delicious braais with Chris made our visit very enjoyable. He took us to beautiful waterfalls, went to the shop with us and then prepared a huge dinner for around 10 people. This service you can't find anywhere... We just felt very welcome! Awesome rustic backpackers with bar and pizza oven situated in the hills above Wilderness. Great view, and nice place to stay if you like low key chilled vibes. Love the fact that they run the Wilderness bitcoin community, and you can pay for everything using bitcoin. Pizzas are great, so even if you are not staying over, it's a nice relaxed place to have lunch or dinner.

We booked online with minimal time to inspect pictures and reviews..we had an awesome time clean facilities, super friendly guests too, the pizza they make is super tasty and we met so many other people around the communal dinning area .. Definitely recommend this place and will stay again

I lived here for almost 3 months and had a wonderful stay. Always clean, friendly staff & views of the ocean like Windows 10 cannot. Super affordable & pet friendly. And if you like Techno/Psy music you are in for a treat coz the Wilderness locals pack some heat. Super Zen place and very quite with also awesome hikes.

An amazing little farm on the top of a hilltop overlooks the wilderness like something out of a picture book! They have a nice bar with a grand balcony. With a friendly donkey named Silvey! Great place for camping though they do have some cozy dorms that have a lovely lounge area.

Great views, friendly people and lekker stoneoven pizzas. We really enjoyed our stay and saw many beautiful sunsets

Wish I could give zero stars. Scruffy place. We had a booking for 13 nights and left after the first night. Internet pictures are deceiving. Could not stand another night. Very noicy nabor and not very clean bathrooms. Room smelling like smokes and booze.

Being used to very clean backpackers in Cape Town this place was quite scruffy with a room smelling of booze and cigarette butts stuffed in the wooden tables outside. The view from the deck is beautiful and the pizzas were nice. Staff was also very sweet but the place needs a good clean up.

If you're looking for a chilled vibe with a great view, this is an ideal location. Right on top of the mountain, it offers an uninterrupted view of the surrounding areas making for a peaceful atmosphere. Unfortunately, a 4x4 trip up is the only way to reach the location. Great for a stay with friends, would not recommend for families with small children.

I am very unhappy. Bad, bad, very bad service. I booked the place and added that my arrival time would be 22:00. When we got there the gate was closed, their phone went to voicemail and no response on emails. I would not recommend

Beautiful location in the mountains at the top of Wilderness, although the drive on the winding gravel road may not suit everyone. Amazing sea views from the deck. But it didn't seem very clean. Furniture and kitchen appliances are old and grimy. We had a private room but didn't realize it didn't have its own bathroom. The communal bathrooms aren't cleaned enough. The room was just a bed, with a very flimsy headboard and lots of dirt underneath. I wouldn't stay there again.
