The tour costed R140 for an adult and lasted 35 minutes. The first half of the tour is a lecture on ostriches in a small lecture room, as well as showing the breeding cabinets which are only for display and not in use. The last half the guide showed some ostriches in pens, including feeding them and stepping on some eggs. The guide is very knowledgeable in his field and could answer all our questions. The tour felt way overpriced for what we got, and I would rather pay a little bit more next time and go to a working ostrich farm.

Great activity while in Oudtshoorn and it is close to the Cango Caves. We did a lunch with the Ostrich tour as a combo and it was a good stop of approximately two hours. Nice curiou shop as well with cuddly toys for the kids :)

Super interesting and fun experience! The tour guide Bassie was excellent - informative and engaging! The ostriches were great to see, learn about and taste after the tour (not the ones you see on the tour!).

What a lovely and informative tour on the ostrich farm. The guide was great and had a great sense of humour. We had an awesome experience of feeding the ostriches and receiving an ostrich neck massage. I am glad that they stopped the ostrich riding as it is not good for the ostriches. Definitely recommend this tour.

Feeding the ostriches was a blast. Don't want to give too much away and spoil the experience for others, but it was fantastic. Informative guide and very worthwhile couple of hours. Lovely curio shop too.

Great experience with the animals. Feeding them and getting the neck massage is an unique experience. Guide knows much and answers the questions you might have. Food in the restaurant is also great.

While the guide was knowledgeable and we found the tour educational, we could not help but notice the small enclosures the birds had, and some behaviour seemed concerning. I asked why the birds did this and was told it's because they're bored - not good. The guide also seemed completely unphased by the fact that one ostrich had a big cut on it's neck, and just brushed it aside saying the other ostrich did it, not wanting to look into it further or clean it. Finally, the guide had an annoyance in his voice when saying that they're not allowed to do ostrich rides anymore due to welfare issues, and grabbing the birds beaks and teasing them.

A very nice guide explained everything to us and gave us an insight into the world of ostriches. Take your time and look at it, it takes about 30 minutes

Good little stop off point. Complementary coffee and clean toilets. Our guide was extremely informative and entertaining and we learned a great deal about ostriches in a short time. Nice to walk round and meet the ostriches and to feed them. Lovely gift shop, wish I'd have bought a few more feather dusters and the lovely ostrich skin handbag I looked at, as couldn't find any in Cape Town afterwards.

The most informative visit one may experience. The on-site guides are really clued up and makes every moment worthwhile during your stay. Groups also have the opportunity to enjoy well prepared meals made possible through pre-bookings.

Beautiful farm with a very interesting lesson on Ostriches. Learnt quite a bit in a very short time and enjoyed the walk around. Keep up the good work guys. Thanks with the help with the locksmith...

The tour was fun and informative. There were not that many people when we visited and the farm is still experiencing hardships after covid-19 lockdowns. If you are around, make sure to stop by for a tour. Definitely worth it!

They say that the visit lasts 45 minutes it took less than 20 minutes. You don't have time to look at the ostriches. The guide speaks too quickly. You don't have time to integrate the info. To absolutely avoid!!!!

Due to having guided tours you may need to wait a few minutes before being allowed to enter. However this is well worth it as the guides are very knowledgeable and you get the chance to feed the ostriches, including feeding multiple ones from a bucket and one on its own directly from your hand. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would love to go again in the future.

We recently did this tour and it was really fun. It lasts around 35-40 minutes. First you learn some interesting details about ostriches and then you get to meet some of them from really close distance. The highlight of the tour is the feeding activity where you get to hold a bucket of food and then 4-5 ostriches come and eat from the bucket. All in all recommended!!!

It was a great experience, feeding the ostriches and learning about them and then the small shop at the end

We had an amazing experience at the farm. Very informative and great guide. It was unfortunate that the lady at the curio shop was so unwelcoming and rude. She tried to apologise with droe wors to a german couple, but it was too late. But otherwise it was a great experience.

Didn't really like this, there seemed to be too many in enclosed spaces. The ostrich massage turned out to be a free for all with ostriches leaning over your shoulders to get food. However the guide was good and gave a good history of ostrich farming

Neat place to learn about ostriches but the tour is a bit short and in my opinion, a little overpriced.

Great ostrich tour, and very informative. Too bad the ostrich riding is not allowed any more
