The hotel is nice and elegant from the outside and in the common areas (reception, breakfast room, bar), while the room we've been assigned was quite small and didn't match our expectations. The bed was comfortable, the view very nice and the storage space was enough, the bathroom though was very small, with a minuscule sink and an oddly low wc. There were also a few little things that needed fixing, like the leaky tap, missing TV remote, phone audio disturbed, complimentary bathroom products already been used and opened by previous guests. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices and perceivable high quality of the food. The staff was polite and professional, and answered promptly to our requests. Overall it was a good experience, but not a great value for what we paid.

My friend and I were delighted with our stay at the K+K Hotel George Kensington. As soon as we entered the hotel, we were greeted warmly by the reception staff upon arrival & throughout our stay at the hotel. The place was spotless, and the lobby interior was beautiful. We also got to check in to our room earlier than expected. Our room was clean, and the bed, including the sofa bed, were comfortable. We decided to enjoy the night in the hotel bar/lounge area on our last night. The staff who served us at the bar were all very kind. However, one staff, in particular, Daniel, was amiable and made sure we had a great time during our stay at the hotel. We were also given two pots of warm tea and tequila shots on the house, which was a kind gesture. We will be coming back.

I don’t really understand how this is a four star hotel. Of all the hotels we used during our month in Europe, this was the worst. We predominantly used three star hotels too. Room was musty, not dirty just a bit musty and dated. Photos online are not at all representative of the actual state of the hotel. The elevator fixtures were in tatters too (pictured) Staff not great either, I went for a run and was hit with a sudden torrential downpour, when I returned many unequipped guests were arriving soaked without umbrellas (like myself) and weren’t offered any towels or anything to dry off. Buffet breakfast is also not included with room price and is £15 pp, which is ridiculous. Only benefits to the place are relative proximity to Hyde Park, Heathrow Airport and a nearby Tube Station. The location does suck overall though, the high street nearby is gross. I would recommend not only not staying here but staying on the opposite side of the city entirely. Hotel absolutely did not live up to the price tag.

We had a delightful stay in the heart of Kensington. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel premises were beautiful and impeccably clean, complete with a charming garden. The food was of high quality, and the waitstaff were attentive and pleasant. Overall, it was a blissful experience over the course of three days. We look forward to returning.

It's walking distance from Earls Court underground tube station in a very safe neighborhood. It's not directly on a main street (one street over from a main street) so generally quiet at night. One street over has grocery stores and restaurants so your basic needs are readily available. The rooms are tiny (by American standards) but probably standard size for Europe. The garden side of the hotel offers a beautiful view. Staff were friendly and accommodating. During our stay we had an incident with a ceiling leak during a rainstorm. Staff were very apologetic and upgraded us to a different room, added free breakfast, and refunded partial credit for our stay.

The room is super small….and that is okay…..but you literally need to turn sideways to get between end of bed and the floor lamp. The toilet is very low….so if you have knee issues this is not the place for you. Staff is very helpful and nice. Breakfast was included but we never got to eat it…..they don’t start service till 7:30….too late if you are on tours or got a day of travel to do

A hidden gem we are delighted we found, aa moments walk from Earls Court tube station. The rooms are clean and the bed was super comfy. There is a lovely garden area too. The staff couldn't have done any more than they did, super friendly and made our stay a joy. We will definately return and can not reccomend highly enough.

This hotel and its staff truly turned our frowns upside down. The night of our arrival we were very disappointed at the room we were assigned and didn't understand how this could be a 4 star hotel and complained to the attentive staff which immediately got to work finding us a more spacious room that was a bit nicer and we settled in for the night. As the stay continued we were continually pleasantly surprised by the beautiful gardens where we could frolic with our dog, and the incredible spread served for breakfast, wonderfully considerate of vegetarians and vegans that you could eat in a picturesque garden, and the staff that went above and beyond with all of our needs. We left marveling at our fantastic stay at K+K and hope to stay here again on our next visit to London.

We had high hopes for this hotel and was very disappointed and mainly due to customer service. Location wise it is conveniently located close to train station and hidden from the busy street. Walking distance to Kensington palace and Hype Park. Rooms are pretty poor quality. At least ours was. Dirty carpet and stains on lamp shade and tiny bathroom with clogged sink that never got fixed despite our complain. Staff at front desk are not welcoming and not friendly. Not even a smile when you arrive. Very disappointing for a four star hotel. On the other hand, the bar and breakfast staff were friendly. Buffet breakfast was very good. Overall, didn’t feel like a four star hotel and does not worth the money.

The room was small with a bit of structural leftover (a wall). The garden was delicate, and the breakfast provided warm and cold options. The staff were caring and considerate, they were great at answering questions. The beds met my expectations, and in general, this hotel provides AMAZING value for money, and a great budget hotel, formidable location as well. LOVE IT! Would recommend.

Such an overrated hotel. Here is why: - This hotel doesn’t have internet, their excuse was that they had and issue but it’s hard to believe. And they never solved it. - Hotel doesn’t have sound insulation at all. You can hear a cat walking in the street. - Breakfast was extremely limited and juices they have are made out of syrup, terrible! - Receptionists are truly bad. Specifically ladies. They have no clue what’s going on in the hotel and no idea which side is the room located. They always give you wrong information. - Hotel doesn’t have a restaurant. - Bathroom amenities such as shampoo and soap are very poor quality. You wouldn’t want to use that. -Shower is either too cold or too hot. You can’t adjust middle. -They don’t have king bed. It’s combined twin bed. And more…. Not recommended!

Do not miss this gem of a hotel. It’s located in a lovely bustling little neighborhood with an underground stop only yards away from the entrance. The rooms seem to have been recently updated and are charming. They might seem a little small by American standards but the amenities are outstanding. Mine had a US wall socket in addition to the UK ones. There is a peaceful private garden with a very friendly orange cat. Outside has ample seating, and in addition a small conservatory-like glassed in area so that you can sit outside even in the rain. Breakfast had a wide range of both hot and cold options all of which were yummy. Overall it was a great experience, cannot wait to come back.

I cannot say enough about this hotel. From the time we got there we had excellent service. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The area was perfect really close to the su way. Very quiet street at night. Bar was perfect after a long day of sightseeing. I would 100% stay here again!!!!!!

We stayed here for a workshop. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the location great for local exploring and access to the centre and the rooms comfortable without being "fancy". Our favourite part was the secluded and sunny garden, which provides an oasis of calm just off the Cromwell Road.

Wonderful stay. Modern Hotel. Very clean and well appointed rooms. Friendly staff and very helpful desk. We were fortunate to get into our rooms earlier than 3 p.m.. arrival on a Tuesday morning. Close to the "Tube" and restaurants and markets. Highly recommend.

My experience at the K+K Hotel George Kensington was amazing! Perfect location right next to the Earl Court Tube station and beautiful street in Kensington, great all you can eat breakfast, and great room with an amazing view! What impressed me the most was i put in the special requests box that it was my last night in the UK with my girl and to do anything romantic if possible. They ended up putting rose pedals over the entire room and left a bottle of Rose Champagne for us Thank you so much for an amazing experience K+K Hotel George Kensington!

The rooms are small, but very comfortable with an excellent bed and linen. The sofa bed our daughter used was adequate. The bathroom, however, was in a slight state of disrepair, with somewhat old-appearing fixtures, a shower light that randomly turned off, and the (non-working) vent cover that was partially separated from the ceiling drywall. Front desk staff were very courteous. Free water bottles in the foyer were nice when we left and returned. The fresh-squeezed orange juice with the personal welcome note were a nice touch. Location is excellent from Earl’s Court underground allowing easy access to Heathrow and St Pancras (via Piccadilly line) and to many other sights and connections (via District line). There are many eating places nearby.

Very stylish hotel. Quiet location and very close to Earls Court. The hotel is tasteful and clean. The service very friendly and courteous. We felt very comfortable. Special regards to the personable barman Daniel; also for his creation of the good night drink.

Lovely hotel! Very polite and helpful staff. The room was clean and cozy. Bed was SO comfortable. The hotel is located in a very good position for exploring with easy walking distance to the tube stop and Kensington Highstreet. The staff were very accommodating and even gave us a free bottle of champagne and wiped the cost of our parking due to them having to wake us up early as their system said the fire alarm was going off in our room. It wasn't and must have been an error. We didn't complain as we knew they were just doing their job but they still wanted to do everything they could to make it up to us which was just so sweet!

The location of the hotel is perfect. In a quiet street, close to earls court underground station. The building looks very nice from the outside but needs an update on the inside. Our room had lots of stains on the carpet. When taking a shower you have to step in a high bath tub with a glass panel attached to the rim of the bath to keep the water in the tub. A non slip rubber bath mat is not very hygienic. In all, quite dangerous for elderly people. We liked the breakfast and our stay but hope to have a better room next time.

Carmen, Marina, Victor and Andrea made us feel at home. They were very helpuful getting us a taxi, making restaurant recommendations or answering all our London questions. And super friendly, it was like we had met them a long time ago. The breakfast was great by the way, loved the variety and the coffee. We also enjoyed the tables outside in the garden. The rooms were quite and clean. The location is superb having Earl's Court tube station so close. This is definitely one of the hotels that we will be coming back to.

Period of stay: End of December-beginning of January 2023. Pros: Location, environment (nice private garden), really quiet hotel, very good breakfast, kind staff (Arrival gift, free late check-out and more), many restaurants and supermarkets around, tube station in 2 minutes walk distance. Cons: Relatively small room, very small bathroom, not many foreign TV channels (most of channels are off). also need to improve in bathroom amenities (maybe switch to hanging soap dispensers). In total: 4/5 Stars.

I'm adding some review details because they didn't seem to make it with my initial review. Staff and facilities were perfect. Staff made us feel at home during a holiday stay, and their attention and kindness went above and beyond. Gym, dining area, bar, and all other public areas were also great. I read some other reviews that said that the rooms were dated. I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough. Rooms weren't new but neither is the building. It is very well kept though, even with the financial tough times that came with the pandemic and decrease in travel. Location is close to a tube stop and centrally located. we had no difficulties getting what we needed locally and getting where we wanted to go. In short, it's a great and well situated hotel with a wonderful staff and amenities. I definitely recommend it.

Excellent Hotel, staff where extremely friendly and helpful. Was very clean and nicely decorated. Rooms are lovely, some might find them small but really it's everything you need and we never spend to much time in the room Hotel lobby is lovely and we spent a 2 nights having a few drinks in it. The barman Donald was excellent, poured a great pint of Guinness. Hotel is only 1 minutes walk from earls Court Station which is a great station to be able to get to different parts of London from. Would stay again and recommend to others

Hotel's location is great! Within walking distance to Earls Court Underground station and you can take the Piccadilly line from Heathrow to Earls Court. Plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood. Hotel has a beautiful courtyard, and their breakfast is great with many options. The staff is professional, willing to assist with any issues you may have. Look forward to my next stay at the K&K Hotel George

We have been at the George Hotel for almost one week. We have one year old daughter and a small dog. We have been welcomed and supported as we had never before, even in five stars hotels. Rooms are clean and well maintained, the garden is a very good space to spend some time outside. the staff is amazing and i think this was the true added value to our stay at the hotel. By the end of the week, they were all playing around with the dog when possible and our daughter was treated as a guest star. Well done to this fantastic team.

We just returned from a Paris/London trip; had a magical time! Highly recommend the K+K Hotel George in the Earl’s Court area of West London. Great location, lots of pubs and restaurants around. Nice area to walk, close to tube, and a pretty garden out back to sit and have a drink. There were 9 of us, in 3 rooms. Benefit is you could do 2 adults and 2 kids per room, which was hard to find in London. Nice rooms, a/c, friendly staff. Special thanks to Mersim who took good care of our family. 🤗
