My wife and I arrived to open arms and friendly smiles by all. Lewis the owner was a complete charm with a good sense of humor. He instantly made us feel as if this were our own home. A very unique and comfortable property. From the rooms to the honor system Speak Easy in the newly finished basement, everything was welcoming and top notch. On the second night we had wonderful home made pies(steak/ale & lamb mint) in the Speak easy, fabulous!!!!!! I strongly recommend to anyone that enjoys unique accommodations, friendly owners/staff and a beautiful home. Thank you Lewis and family for the wonderful stay.

We enjoyed a high tea for a friends birthday. I wasn’t completely blown away by all the items on the stand and found some to be a bit dry. However, the scones were delightful and a full pot of tea / coffee per person was a welcome relief - endless cups at one’s own pace. I can’t comment on the accommodation.

cool place There is snooker, a pool and a small bar under the terrace with their stunning view. The breakfast service only opens at 8 am and the service is a bit slow, if you need to leave before 9 am it is better to pass. The manager of the place is very nice and takes care of everything, really goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has an amazing experience. The quirky room is very cool and they really went all the way with the shower head sprinkling quite a bit, which for me was a bit much. For a romantic and more pleasant stay I recommend the other rooms that are a bit bigger.

Thank you to Betty's Boutique for making my bridal shower special. We had a lovely high tea, the service was great and the food delicious. Also had a tour of this beautifully restored house and lots of fun in-between. The ride in the old Morrisen was also a special experience. Thank you so much!

My husband and I enjoyed this Hotel the most out of our whole trip. We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed it a lot. The staff were all very friendly and the owner/caretaker made us feel very welcome. They really went out of there way. (special shout out to the night manager who understood our Afrikaans, our English is very rusty ;) ) The highlight for us was the porch/stoep. The view was lovely. I could look at the garden and ocean in the distance for hours. The room and the breakfast was also very very good. It was really worth it and I would recommend this place to anyone.

We had amzing time at Betty’s Hotel. The service here has an outstanding quality, local people try to learn how to offer the best quality in hospitality and they are actually doing well. The breakfast was delicious. We had a nice “star” lighting in our room, it was unexpected haha

You will be spoilt from the moment you arrive until you leave. Top service, food and laughs along the way too with the Betty’s Boutique family. Such a gem in Mossel Bay. Fabulous location for a party and wedding.

A wonderful place to stay. We were welcomed very kindly by the staff. The room is beautifully decorated and the piece of art with the towels is stunning. And breakfast was great. It's a place to come back and feel at home. Thanks again for everything, Mady

What an absolute gem🏝. I loved the visit here with my mother over the December holiday. The high tea with a Christmas touch, so delicious and beautifully presented and worth every "penny"🍰🥧🫖. The host and his son as well as the waitress were such special caring and friendly people. 🥰They took our boy's pram inside while he was sleeping so that any disturbance didn't wake him outside ❤️ I'll definitely be back and bring my husband along. Keep doing what you are doing!🥂

Just returned home after a wonderful stay at Betty’s Boutique Hotel. What a little gem we had found. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for Lewis, the manager, and his team. A true example of excellent hospitality and customer service. It was our first visit to South Africa but we only hope that we get the opportunity to return to Betty’s at some time in the future. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to any of our family and friends.

We loved it. The location is excellent, the garden is lovely, the building is wonderfully vintage, the pool is relaxing and refreshing, our garden room was charming and cozy. The air conditioning worked great and there was no evidence of loadshedding. Service is wonderful, breakfast delicious. I'll happily return anytime.

My husband and enjoyed a lovey high tea on the porch overlooking across the bay. Loads of character, very eccentric, complimented by gorgeous table decor and most delicious 3tier treats. It's  family owned and they all do it with so much love & passion. The perfect place to host your high tea birthday party.  But do make your booking well advance.

Great little hotel with excellent service and amenities. Beautiful quiet area, but centrally located for exploring the area around Mossel Bay. The rooms are quirky and eclectic while still warm and welcoming. Loved our stay here. Special thanks to Lewis who helped us sort out a transport issue as well. Definitely recommend for a stay in the Garden Route area.

What can I say... Should receive 6 stars, not 5. Warm, exquisite, so much attention to detail from start to finish. I've stayed in many a hotel but this one is in a league of its own. Thank you for everything you did to make our stay super special.

We went to Betty's Boutique Hotel for high tea. It was a great experience from start to finish. A warm welcome with tea and coffee followed by a tray of delectable sandwiches and cakes. Live music and great company created an unforgettable atmosphere on the porch where we enjoyed each taste explosion while looking over the bay, imagining life in Mossel Bay more than a hundred years ago when this memorable house was built. After tea we were given a tour of the Speak easy and the main house, with memorabilia and tales to make the experience even more special. Thank you, Dave, Lewis, Daisy and Wendy for your passion and great service. We will definitely be back for more! God bless! Elzanne

Bettys Boutique Hotel exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a lovely afternoon of high tea at your quaint unique boutique hotel. The hosts were very welcoming and attended to everyone's needs. I loved the treats and coffees and the attention to detail. Even the rain couldn't stop the wonderful baby shower. I also appreciated their announcements, explanation of proceeding of events and short history of the building and hotel.

We overnighted at Betty's Boutique Hotel and our only complaint would be that we couldn't stay longer! The Hotel is incredibly quaint and beautifully put together. You can see that a lot of thought and love went into the furnishing and décor. We felt like Royalty from arrival to departure. I would highly recommend the delicious breakfast, enjoyed on the beautiful patio overlooking Mossel Bay.

Wow. We had the most incredible and intimate experience at Betty’s for my husbands 40th bday party. The management went to extreme lengths to make it really special and unique, nothing was too much for them, the staff were super, top-class, and we didn’t want for anything. The food was tasty, delicious, with a well-thought out menu, and to top it all off, the price was reasonable and worth every single penny. It was our third event celebrated at Betty’s ~ and it definitely won’t be our last! Thanks team!

What a truly authentic and memorable English High Tea experience on the day of King Charles III ascendancy. A privilege to feast on the three-tiered pyramid of delectable goodies conjured up by Daisy in the magnificent setting of this Heritage property with the most charming of hosts. We will most definitely find an excuse for an overnight stay in the Rose Room and G&Ts in the cellar speakeasy!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was perfect, comfortable, quirky and the showers were amazing! Breakfast was super and we loved the Speakeasy honesty bar! We were a family of 4 with 2 teens and I'd recommend Betty's to anyone travelling to Mossel Bay.

Such spoils! What a wonderful experience at Betty Boutique, a real gem of a place. The personal attention that each of their guests receives is absolutely rare. The waitress, with her beautiful operatic voice, provided much pleasure with her singing. Hands down one of the nicest moments I could share with my mom. Thank you Dave and Lewis!

We sent my in-laws on the vintage picnic for my father-in-law's 70th birthday. We just want to say thank you so much for spoiling our folks today. Thank you for going the extra mile in making the day extra special by adding my special requests. They had a truly unforgettable day. They are still raving about it. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The moment our group walked in we received a warm welcome from the co-owner Dave who had a spritely energy and was very friendly. What a beautiful stay we had, with absolutely lovely staff and hosts! This family run guest house did not disappoint us at all. Such attention to detail from the decor to the professionalism of the hosts at all times really shone through! You can feel this family team has years of first class hospitality experience. From the minute we made contact we were met with warmth and exceptional helpfulness. I loved the touch of British mixed with the beauty of S.Africa on display all around. The pool area was very clean and inviting. The gardens and view outside are amazing. It's a real gem. The downstairs dining area was fantastic and added something extra special too! The level of cleanliness and presentation was excellent. I'd highly recommend a stay here for singles, couples and families, it has something for all and is in an excellent location too. The Tapas was amazing!👌and we definitely want to go back again soon. They really have thought of everything at Betty's boutique hotel, each room is beautifully decorated and cosy. Such a wonderful atmosphere! This is a very well run and organised guest house which we are happy to have found and to share 👍

Thank you Betty’s boutique hotel. Doing old world charm and hospitality has been lost in the 21st-century you brought me back to what time and attention to detail what is Paramont to a vacation. Your staff was extremely helpful one and very kind. Being greeted as you walk through the gate with a warm inviting garden restored to its original grandeur as you enter into the hotel the front porch has been converted into a beautiful open your dining room with the glass enclosures no detail has been overlooked! The room that you place me in was absolutely flawless the bed was extremely comfortable room and spacious the hospitality was wonderful I honestly can’t say enough good things about your establishment. I’ve stayed it several back roads and country inns in the United States and yours is by far the finest I have seen! Breakfast was over the top absolutely flawless. It is so nice to see if there are people like you still in the hospitality business don’t know how to treat a worry traveler I am looking forward to the next team I am able to use your facility and will gladly recommend it to all of my friends

We enjoyed our stay at Betty’s in the Royal room. A quirky boutique hotel room with a fabulous breakfast! Never been a fan of granola but this one served by Daisy was special!! The speak easy honesty bar was very chilled for spending the evening and the landlord was very welcoming.
