New restaurant opened in July 2019, steakhouse-style dishes, good wine list and tasty desserts. We enjoyed the rib-eye steak, lamb shank and lamb chops dishes, all well-presented and prepared perpectly. The trio of sorbet is my favourite dessert, but our party also enjoyed the chocolate mouse, creme brulee and trio of ice cream. Friendly service, reasonable prices.

Restoration done beautifully. Good menu and not badly priced. Our food took long to arrive, not all at the same time. One order was smoked salmon and received bacon?. One order had condiments missing and not baked thoroughly. But once food arrived it was tasty and well presented.

Top notch coffee experience! They were thrilled to have us and we felt like we got special treatment but I imagine they are this kind and generous or everyone 💕 We bought coffee for our mornings in the Cederberg and some to bring home! So delicious.

This was the best coffee experience we had in years! The owner is hands on, roasting coffee for the love and art of coffee. The service is excellent and the staff is friendly. The roastery and coffee shop is decorated authentically and adds to the experience! They roast a variety of coffee blends and we were able to taste all four in the shop. I really have a dilemma identifying my favorite blend here. Even the lighter Brazilian roast which I would not normally prefer was amazing! KUDOS to a great coffee roastery!!

Great vibe inside or exit on the left and through a short alleyway to a surprise little garden at the back. They also have delicious pastries and other eats if you are feeling peckish. Worth a look.

We stayed in Mossel Bay for about a month and worked remotely from here. During the time, we often went to “our” café in the morning, because we always had a great time with the staff and the coffee was always incredibly delicious and made with love! Especially the (dirty) chai has done it to me. The atmosphere in the café is just wonderful and we are really very sad that our time is now coming to an end. The café is definitely worth a visit, here you get the best coffee in town! Also make sure to give the croissants a try for the perfect coffee experience!

Sat down for a quick snack before exploring Mosselbay. What an amazing experience to also meet a humble owner, Tahar. And add to that, the best snack”eries” ever. Bite-sized carrot cake, freshly baked croissants, paired with great coffee. And what a lovely garden area. Talk about best use of space. Absolutely AMAZING!!!

Excellent coffee and a very neat place. You can sit inside and watch the staff roasting coffee, or in the cozy backyard to relax. One feels the passion and love of Taha and the team to their little business everywhere, which makes the place so enjoyable. They also love explaining the many details of making good coffee, or about travelling or worldly matters - but just if you want to. We had the Columbian roast as hot espresso and cold brew - which was eye opening. Very much recommended!

A little hidden gem like the perfect coffee bean on the garden route close to the Diaz museum in Mossel bay. If you looking for coffee that is made with passion this is it. It is a roastery a coffee shop and I noted freshly baked croissants. I stumbled across this roastery on a business trip earlier this year and just had to return. I had to share the experience with my wife and a friend/s, even drove down from George to share the experience for the perfect cappuccino with my dad. Staff is extremely friendly and becomes your best coffee buddy's and even my dad (79) could not resit a picture. I will definitely plan future garden route trips just to have this experience over.

The best and most freshly roasted coffee served by the wonderful barista Jason who made every cup with love. After four weeks of perfect flat whites and dirty chais we ended our journey with some great africano „Guinness“. What a delightful experience. Every detail is carefully curated to create and amazing sensory experience. This historical building has been restored beautifully. The beer garden at the back is perfect for an event or just to get away from the stressors of your day. The staff are friendly and the owner is visible and very open to feedback. The food has great potential, portion size left me wanting more. The flavours were there but a some attention to adding different textures on the plate would add that something extra. The cutlery and crockery is different and exciting. This is a definite must visit! Can't wait for my next visit.

If you are like me and love to eat don't drive past this place. They serve proper food and fills a plate like your grandma would have done. Best seats in the house is right at the back where they smoke and cure their own meats. There is even a play area for the kids!

Great food, beautiful renovated space with a great fireplace (pictured below). Service is friendly but a little slow (I think they need another waiter on the floor) and the food was a little slow coming too. We had to send back one burger because we’d asked a waiter if it had pork on it, he said no and it came with bacon on it but the staff were very apologetic and, surprisingly (given how long we’d waited for our food the first time) was quick to send out a burger without bacon. All in all, a good experience!

Love love loooove this place. I had the bed lamb shank I have ever tasted tonight, gin on tap, malva pudding to die for, super friendly staff AND a comfy bar setting for a quick beer before going home. We had my sisters engagement party here a while back and they were so accomodating and friendly and the snack platters were divine. Also perfect for a scrumptious breakfast, coffee break, lunch and everything in between. I highly recommend The Cork & Plunger, it is our favorite spot in Mossel Bay

Contender for best place in Mossel bay. These guys have renovated this amazing classy old building into a real top joint. The beer garden area at the back is great and the waiters are top pros. The food is where they really shine with a clear passion for good quality and variety. They even have a good number of vegan options that aren't chips or salad including a vegan milkshake. Well done to the team here. Craft beers and rare spirits also feature on the menu

Great food with a cool vibe

The food was exceptional and the service friendly, and very efficient. We went for evening dinner and would highly recommend as best in Mossel Bay. I started with the scallops served on a leek and sweet corn purée with bacon. Scallops were perfectly seared and translucent and the purée an interesting compliment. Divine! Mary had the Chicken parfait with apple and chutney, a perfect combination and beautifully served. The parfait was delicately infused and a lovely consistency, it needed more biscuits to finish though which arrived in seconds! For the mains I opted for the Trio of venison and Mary the grilled Kinglip. The trio was Kudu, Ostrich and Zebra and my medium order was cooked to perfection, beautifully pink but no blood running, served with roasted vegetables. Taste was exquisite! The Kinglip was moist and flavoursome served on creamed spinach with flakes of courgette (baby marrow) decorating as scales to the fish. Beautiful and enhanced the delicate flavour of this fish. The wine list offers a good choice but as we can’t agree we went for by the glass. Bridget brought samples for Mary for the reds as she was undecided. Much appreciated! We didn’t have room for the desserts this time. All in all a great experience and we will be back!

Our boss chose this restaurant for us as the YIM PHOOM JAI THAI MASSAGE staff.The service we received from Keegan was excellent. l believe we were one of the craziest group of customers he has met😂 but that did not change him nor his attitude towards us. He was very helpful and attentive.He made our night very special. Thank you so much Keegan... awsh! I almost forgot please give him a raise, the way he tried to convince me to have some dessert😂😂😂 l must say you got the best waiter there, he knows what he does and he does it Best. The "cream brulee" was great.

Terrible experience. Went there following a friend’s recommendation. Wanted to finish our time at the coast on a high note enjoying some good food. Beautiful place and nicely decorated. Upon arrival we were told the food will take about an hour as they are very busy. We had no problem with that. We waited quite long for our drinks with some almost being forgotten. Some of the kids food arrived after about an hour and a half. The waiter never came out of his own to our table, we had to call him every time for service. After waiting about two and a half hours, we asked again how long the food is still going to take. We were then informed they haven’t started with our order... we left just after 10pm without food. The owner at least said we don’t need to pay anything.... but we will definitely not be back. Spoiled our last evening on holiday....
