Absolutely beautiful area. There is a fishing dock and we were able to catch some white bass. It is exceptionally clean and the bathrooms were pristine. There are dozens of picnic tables and the views are stunning. We highly recommend!

Beautiful hike. Not a hard hike, to get to the waterfall is about 3 miles, lots of shade which is nice! Go early before it gets hot and take plenty of water! My poor dog wad exhausted and the pads of her feet were burned. We had to get a boat rescue because she would not get up of the ground and walk. Quite a memorable hike!

What's not to love? Beautiful piece if nature to hike, sit, eat, or just contemplate. Went for hike and soaked in the scenery. People were out in the water, splashing about, while some were doing water sports. Very nice location. Drivers were a bit wild coming in. Not sure what that was about but please practice patience. I parked outside of the entrance along the street. There's also parking closer to the water and picnic areas. Will definitely return.

It’s a warm and humid March day for a hike but it’s worth it to see a few bluebonnets coming out. In a couple of weeks, this park will be even better. The trees are not blooming yet but you can still hear lots of birds. Lake GT never disappoints- this place is only a 5 minute drive from where I live so I can just pop in anytime. Come for a hike !

Awesome park for camping. We had a beautiful campsite overlooking the lake with hookups. Plenty of shade and a nice shelter, picnic table and grill. Gated entry for camping area, so not everyone can just cruise through the area. We'll be back when in the area.

Absolutely gorgeous park, the online check-in is really good option to have. Spent the afternoon hiking. Unfortunately it was raining and we weren't able to make it to the waterfall. I very much enjoyed walking through the red cedars, It was awesome to see people out and about enjoying nature. We came across several groups of mountain bikers as well as two groups of hikers. Everyone was very kind and very friendly. The scenery was absolutely stunning. I loved seeing how well the trails work upkept. Judging by the varied age of hikers that we came across the trail that we weren't able to walk on was still very doable for people of all ages. Hopefully lake Georgetown will get its water levels up this winter. When we visited before Thanksgiving the water levels were very low and fishing was not allowed from the park. Hopefully water levels will come back because this is a beautiful park to go and fish and enjoy nature. I highly recommend this park to anyone who wants to hike around in the woods. Possibly see a cool waterfall and maybe play in the water at lake Georgetown.

This is our 2nd time here. Clean park and quiet. Nice big spots. Water and electric only. Right on the lake. There are showers and restrooms in the campground.

I loved our site (#13). We had a gorgeous view of the lake, and the sunrise was spectacular! We also found lovely hiking trails and ended up at a magical waterfall. The camp was quiet, too, even though it was full. I recommend this location!

Its about a 3.5mi hike to the falls. The entire trail is gorgeous, peacful, full of shade. Wear good walking shoes. Have some water and your phone. It gets quite rocky, but its manageable if you take you take your time & watch your foot placement. ENJOY!!

A really great camping site. Most folks were very respectful and quiet. Lovely spot to go camping with the family.

Absolutely amazing. I think this is one of the most enjoyable national parks I have been to and I’ve been to most of them that allow RV. Austin is the best city in Texas for Alt people with great goth clubs and weirdos like me and my wife. The only ones that top this are Fort Pickens campground in Florida and probably pictured rock in Michigan UP.
