Probably the best pie of my life. The "steak and mushroom pie" was just amazing! The perfect texture and mix of ingredients! Then the local baked sweet with custard was also outstanding! Thank you

Great place with NZ gift shop, grochery, fresh veg and fruit sections and a cafe. They have a lot of NZ honey and a honey tasting corner. The people are friendly. They have a bakery area at the back of the shop. Veg and grocery prices are reasonable, cafe prices are a bit steep compared to other places plus 2% eftpos charges! The food is ok. They have a soccer golf area $7 for adults and $5 for kids above 5.

Excellent service, good coffee, good food. My bacon & eggs was good and the portion is reasonable. Lots of varieties of foods to choose from on the menu and in the cabinets. Will come back to try their pies that they bake on their premises.

Excellent selection of food. Bought Barkers spreads there as well. Winter weather turned it on for us while we were there with a hailstorm, very pretty 😊

Great place for a coffee break with many tempting meals and snacks on offer. Super friendly staff who provide quick efficient service. A shop selling local products and a bakery is located next door. It's a definite favourite and will re visit the next time I'm passing.

We stopped here briefly on our way through town and got some coffee / flat white and one of the ginger crunch pastries. Absolutely delicious! There is a shop connected to the bakery with lots of convenience / novelty / grocery items and there is ample outdoor seating. Very scenic - a great stop on your way through town!

The coffee was good, the food not so much. Had a corn fritter that was quite oily and very, very chewey from being microwaved. I laughed at the limp dry julienned teaspoon's worth carrot in the corner of the plate - I hope this was decoration and not expected to be considered a side salad. Friendly staff however we were a bit shocked watching a young person through the kitchen window who was putting dirty dishes in the sanitizer machine without at least first rinsing anything off

We were on our way to a birthday party with two of our grandchildren when we decided to stop at the Farmshop for lunch. The children couldn't wait to get on the bouncy castle. It was such a beautiful day that we sat in a shady spot outside while supervising the children on the bouncy castle. The gluten free food for 2 of us, normal food for 1 and dairy free for 1 was yummy and washed down with a pot of tea, two hot chocolates and a flat white. So with full tummies and plenty of exercise for the children we had a very quite trip south. Alwyn

Decent steak and cheese pie and delicious hot chocolate. We arrived quite close to their closing time but service is prompt and friendly.

Called in for breakfast before leaving Geraldine. Both had eggs benny and have to say we thoroughly enjoyed them. Food and coffee were excellent and service spot on! We will definitely be back. 👍

Fantastic place. They were so busy when we walked in. But handled everything smoothly and with a welcoming smile. Extensive menu with something for everyone. Clean and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. A shop attached to the cafe sells local produce and crafts. Heaps of off street parking and all wheelchair accessible.

Extremely unhappy - ordered the nachos which was pre cooked Mince that was served up luke warm, we were the only ones there at the end & clearly unhappy but the staff were too busy trying to close everything up 2 hours before closing time, I'm disabled and the staff member served my plate up a meter away from me on the fireplace seating. Muffin was so dry and hard it could be mistaken for a rock. The only thing that wasn't awful was the wedges which were very average. "Iced chocolate" was just ice and chocolate powder, no icecream or cream or chocolate sauce for $7.50! Didn't bother complaining at the time due to the attitude of the staff already, we just won't come back. Your loss - especially in this economy.

Was on my way back to Christchurch from a day trip to Timaru, decided to stop for a coffee. Thankfully, they're open till 5pm. Friendly staff, great coffee, tasty cheese rolls, also liked the cafe chairs outside. Has a little gift area and also superette attached, so one stop shop. Nice setting too. Would definitely stop there again
