If you are staying over in Geres, or even if you are passing through, don't miss out on this little, but very picturesque and idyllic park, with creeks, ponds, a mountain river, bridges, waterfalls and an artficially created cave. If you like you can even go for a swim in the pool upstream. (8 euro pp).

This park is calm and beautiful. You can chill there: read a book, play with kids or walk your dogs. There is a river in the park. You are not allowed to go there, but the sights are incredible beautiful . We have to pay 1.5 euros at the entrance but it is worthy. There were many people doing picnics. I recomend it.

Ok, so this is a simple park. But for some reason you have to pay to go in. There is a boating lake, which is OK and you pay extra for it. There is a swimming pool which is very expensive. There is no map, there is no information. This place could be very good indeed. Disappointed.

It’s a beautiful park in the middle of the city, with a small entry fee, just a few minutes walking from the main hotels. Great for a walk and a picnic if you don’t want to leave the town. I saw a few people complaining in other reviews about the lack of a map, but it doesn’t have many paths, you just keep walking and you’ll know everything. There’s a playground for children but sadly it was closed when we visited. It’s worth noticing that the park closes early even in the summers.

Magic place. Mountains, green, wildness and the lovely people from Geres and all the history and traditions are the highlights of Geres. Visit with time and enjoy.

What a delightful place with thermal pools that you can have a swim.the hiking is tremendous, and with a guide,available for all grades of hikers.

We were able to see the falls at peak, during our visit and the views were breath taking.

A fantastic experience in one of the most beautiful natural parks in Portugal. I went in the winter to enjoy the waterfalls and the more humid weather, but in the summer it's really beautiful. I recommend a family holiday in this wonderful natural park.

Not too much to see or do here. You cant swim anywhere unless you pay 8 euros to swim in a regular swimming pool. Meh better time spent at the waterfalls

Amazing place, astonishing views of the rivers, delicious gastronomy and endless hiking trails.

Sehr idyllischer Park. Man geniesst die Ruhe, abseits vom Trubel. In einer halben Stunde hat man den kurzen Rundweg absolviert und einige schöne Ausblicke auf das Bachbett und die kleinen Wasserfälle bekommen.

Only €1.50 per person, it's a nice scenic park to take a short walk. It's very peaceful and soothing with the river running through it.
