Don't shy off because of bad reviews, the place was great (a terrace near a beautiful river), the food was delicious and really cheap (the meal for 2 people (everything you see in the picture) was €16, it would probably be enough for 4 if they are not heavy eaters) and the staff was fine (but I agree that service has room for improvement). Recommended!

Do not order a pizza here. I am not an Italian, but this was very bad, frozen pizza.

The only good thing about this place is the terrace. Terrible pizza (dough looks like prefabricated), dirty glass (very visible traces of lipstick), slow and very unhappy staff, napkins on the ground... This place only pretend that they are restaurant. Maybe other stuff from the menu are ok (grill). Very sad experience.

Nice place, on the river bank, be careful: between 15-18 like most of restaurants a kitchen is closed, but chicken, salt and soup was testy

Place was great. Nice terrace over the stream. Food was great (read pizzas aren’t but the steak w mushrooms and goat were both great). So was service. And a big parking lot across street. Would happily go back.

The chicken here is all time great in Portugal!!

This was our favourite place to eat in Gerês. Lovely location;friendly welcoming service; excellent value house white wine; tasty , freshly cooked food (particularly recommend the goat, veal & pork chop dishes. Came with generous amount of salad too 👍🏻)
