The worst dining experience ever. There were about 20 of us for a bday party. Reservation at 6. Didn’t get out of the till 9:30. This is after having to ask if we were going to be able to order over an hour in. Sending back cold food. Arguing with staff. Usually I never complain but this was extreme. If you have a big table they automatically charge you gratuity no matter how bad they treat you. If you dispute it they offer to get the police right there. Had a couple drinks and they accused me of being drunk. Not even close just upset that the party was ruined and the staff wanted to argue with me about it. Their excuse for everything apparently they warned me was there would be longer wait times for such a large table. I was never told that by anyone. They weren’t even busy. A lot of empty tables all night. Then they wanted to brag about selling $3000 worth of food in an hour. Not ours. We watched a number of tables come in eat and leave. When I asked about that I was told they all ordered appetizers. Most of us ordered appetizers or steak nachos. Very sad but true. This used to be one of my favorite places to go. I’ll never take my family and friends to be treated that way again.

Steel Grill has excellent quality steaks, great burgers, and a vast selection of alcohol. I make it a point to go here every time I visit Scottsbluff! (Sometimes twice) I always get great service, food, and conversation at this place.

The food was great. The restaurant was empty but our waitress was not the best. We had to track her down a couple times to get napkins and water refills.

Steel Grill is always one of our go to places for a great meal and friendly service. Staff is on point, food cooked as ordered and service was fast and attentive. Great pick for any family or date night.

I wasn't impressed. We tried it for our first time for the husbands be birthday and he got the prime rib and baked potato with baked beans. I ordered the bacon Mac and cheese burger with chips. Our appetizers were cheese curds and rocky mountain oysters. They initially served us someone else's meal and then had to wait another 20 minutes. The appetizers were way over cooked and too crunchy, the cheese was on the outside of the curd rock hard. My husband's steak once served looked raw, no grill marks or anything and was cold, looked like it was cut and slapped on his plate. He never got his baked beans either. My hamburger was decent, tasted like a hamburger with Mac and cheese on it. For $100 dollars, it's definitely not worth it.

Love their Steak Nachos, when they don't serve you a plate that's been sitting there. Served cold by a cold waitress. That's what you get when your put you onto a table that's in the corner.

My husband and I took a trip out to western Nebraska since seeing the Oregon Trail was on my bucket list. Decided to stop here for dinner and I am so glad we did. I am well traveled and have eaten at several high end restaurants. Reason I am saying all this is to ensure that the steaks in comparison are not from cheap restaurants… this restaurant cooked the best steak I have EVER had. The flavor of the steak was on point, and the thick cut of steak was cooked to perfection (which is hard to do with thick cuts). If we lived in the area this would be a weekly stop. When looking at the menu, the prices seem a little high. However once you get your food you’ll soon realize the portions you receive are huge. The food you receive is well worth the cost in amount and quality.

This place used to be damm good. Now you wait and wait for your pickup order for another 20 minutes after it's supposed to be done. Then you get home and the medium rare meat your order is well done. Fire your cooks and start over because this new lot you hired is not it.

So tasty! I started off with a specialty drink, The Peached Whale, & it was amazing. It was more sweet/peach flavored vs alcohol (which I prefer) For my meal, I ordered the sirloin (medium) + mushrooms & green beans. I enjoyed everything, and will definitely be returning!

Where do I start? For how expensive the food is, the quality is very very disappointing. Stay away from the ribs. They are so chewy and 40% of it is fat not meat. They were so dry and frankly disgusting. Almost seems like they cooked it the day before and microwaved it the next. The kids Mac n Cheese is just Kraft store bought cheese that happens to cost you more than $9. The only good thing they have is the steak nachos. Those are pretty good. Everything else is overpriced and gross. The chicken wings were raw as well. UPDATE: I just spent the whole night throwing up because of food poisoning.

Fantastic is an understatement. Food, environment, atmosphere, music, seating, all great. They were busy, full parking lot and still had lots of seating available. Large portions, great taste, and quick. Not a single complaint from me here. Definitely worth stopping in.

Great service and the food is tops too! Had a Ultimate salad with steak, it was great! My son had the balsamic steak salad, said it was great too. Someone near me ordered the steak nachos, it looked great but my doctor says fewer carbs.

We have been here many times and we always enjoy it. Really delicious nachos! Burgers are also good! We will be back next time we are passing through.

Ya know I had major reservations 'bout going, I did not wanna! I went anyway, we met family & friends there. We had a great time! The foods/options were very good, very appetizing & delicious! They hv a full bar so that was covered as well. We were the 1st ones there 2.5hrs later we left! It couldn't have been a better choice. I'm glad I/we went. Great place to catchup up w family & friends. Wonderful atmosphere for conversation, great food & options. We had appetizers, burgers, steak nachos & drinks. Brandie,(sp?) our server was outta control good! She was always very attentive to not only us but the other customers she was taking care of. We'll definitely go back next month when we're up that direction! I don't have any reservations left 'bout returning it'll be "The Place" we catchup! It works w the location and the distance we all have to travel to catchup, great choice even when I didn't wanna go there! Thank you Steel Grill & Brandie for making it a good decision. Well be back!

Long wait due to weather. Wait staff were apologetic and the food was worth the wait. I had the fish and chips, Better than most. My wife had the ribs and Mac and cheese. Too good to not get a take home box.

Sold cattle, today thought we would celebrate with a good meal, went to the Steel Grill, where we were quickly seated given menus and then forgotten. No drink order taken. 2 other tables were served drinks while we waited. After 20 minuted of no service we left.

Food was good, the mac and cheese was delicious. Staff was very nice, our waitress was very attentive. They even held onto the diaper bag we accidentally left.

Great meal. Burgers were awesome (I had the BBB with brisket and bacon). The brisket was surprisingly tender and juicy. Good service on a busy night. Recommend!

Nice place with something for everyone. Party of four, we were looking for a casual place with good food. We found it and enjoyed keno, sports on big screens, the steak nachos & burgers. Creative mules & other libations- fun! We could have dressed up and gone to the quieter, more traditional area that had a 70's cowboy steakhouse vibe - quaint & reminiscent. Love this place! We will be back.

Great atmosphere, steel building with modern industrial decor. Service was friendly and quick. Enjoyed the Balsamic Bleu Steak Salad. Steak nachos are what they're known for, they looked delicious and plentiful.
