There were very few hikers during my hike. It made a difference because I took plenty of silly photos. The path is well maintained.

Great trail for hiking and biking (probably don't want to attempt the trail on a bike if you're a novice though) with lots a hills and winding paths! Not very busy which is a plus for me and I always see some sort of wildlife.

Went here with our puppy on Saturday. It was a great walk/hike with nice views. Lots of trees kept of shaded from the sun. Puppy loved the water streams. It's not overly crowded like scenca Creek state park would be.

A small but nice parking area at the trailhead to a wonderful meandering trail that goes through the woods all the way to Damascus. I found this interesting stick with a knot that someone left on the trail.

Follow the trail markers and you won't stumble into the tall grass like I did, haha (tho it's not that bad). At the entrance, if you take a right, you follow the river, but end up in the tall grass. The path to the left meets up with the path to the right, but it's clearer. Then just forge on ahead till you hit the road at the other end. Overall, great little walk. Basically had the path all to myself at 3pm on a Tuesday. The sun was blaring that day, but it's so well shaded that the walk was entirely pleasant. I recommend this place for leisure walk with the dog. My only issue was trying to leave the "parking" on the side of the road during rush hour. Had to wait quite a bit to merge myself into traffic at the 3 way stop sign. Just be warned you might be waiting a while to leave during weekday rush hour, but again, not the worst thing in the world.

There was a vibrant birthday party going on at the pavilion right next to the park. They were playing amazing african tribal music and people from the party were spread out allover just lightly dancing. I've never seen anything like it. And NOBODY was on the actual play park so my 2 year old could watch people dancing and play on the park undisturbed. It was really nice

What a great nature walk! This is one of our favorites! The tree cover is great on very hot or sunny days, my 3 year old LOVES the little side paths where he gets to pick the direction, and it's never too hard for the kids to do. This is our go-to local nature walk!

It's a fun trail with a lot of secret paths and variations and great views. You can actually get lost here, so make sure to pay attention to blue tree markings.

Nice trail, only parking for about 7-10 cars, but access is easy. Well covered by foliage for a nice shaded walk. Slightly strenuous ups and downs, just enough to get the heart pumping, but nothing requiring pre-planning...you could walk in sneakers and jeans if you want. Recommend for an easy 1 hr walk.

Great area for walking the dog and photography. Trails can get a little muddy at parts so best to bring trail or athletic shoes.

Wonderful commune with nature, identify birds, and spot other wildlife including deer and fox. This is a haven for playful busy squirrels!
