Sometimes the river need more care , but in general during the spring its quite cool to walk around

The Planetarium is hosting a wonderful exhibition from QUEEN! Something that shouldn't be missed! Not only is the place a very beautiful building but it is also a great place to go out and enjoy the beer gardens! I saw many people enjoying their selves on the lawn and making a nice spring evening better!

I very much enjoyed the trip to the Orangerie! The Astronomy museum is located in this beautiful place! The Planetarium is hosting a wonderful exhibition from QUEEN! Something that shouldn't be missed! Not only is the place a very beautiful building but it is also a great place to go out and enjoy the beer gardens! I saw many people enjoying their selves on the lawn and making a nice spring evening better! Also of honorable mention is that this is the 15th DOCUMENTA art exhibition! This is an amazing opportunity to explore the exciting city of Kassel and enjoy the wonderful outdoors and artists exhibitions!

Very nice park facilities with lots of trees, creeks, lakes and a canal running in the middle. Great for long strolls, jogging, yoga, picnics and other outdoor activities. Spread over a very large area, there are a couple of facilities where you can have a drink or even eat lunch or dinner. Centrally-located in the centre of Kassel, in close proximity to shopping area, museums, the national theatre and other sights. Kids and pet-friendly, accessible by wheelchair.

A very beautiful Place, i spent most of my afternoons here when i lived in Kassel

Only a few banks to sit on, so most of the people sit on the ground, still it's really big and looks great with all the flowers plus the - let's call them a little abnormal - trees in the middle of the park.

Great. Great games for kids. Quiet. But after sunset, mosquito bites were a problem. We eventually had to leave. A breeze of air carries the foul smell if the small water stream. It happened few times an hour.

What a beautiful park, great for a stroll or just sitting on the grass. There is a restaurant in the orangerie building and a playground close to the water.

A large, maintained green space in the heart of Kassel was a welcome respite from the crowds in the public squares. Enjoy the peaceful trails, water ways, and swimming birds throughout. There are lots of places for picnic lunches and benches for seating.
