One of the best Indian Restaurant I ever visited. Authentic taste and superb hospitality. We had Veg. Thali for 2. You get four different sabzi with different gravy, all of them were freshly prepared and very delicious. With sabzi you also get a Naan, Raita, Rice and Salad. The quantity is enough for two hungry people. Check yourself in the pic. The Owner is also cheerful and upon request, they also prepare the Food with Indian Tadka. If you are driving by car, they have their own Parking Spot, so you don't need to worry.

Our first lunch of the year could not have been better. We decided to go with my wife to try Indian food (something we don't do often) and the restaurant with its ambiance, relaxing Indian music and the food with its spicy sauces with lamb and chicken was wonderful, delicious. I had my first beer there this year, and it was Indian beer. What I want to highlight the most was the service we received from the two people in the restaurant. You feel confident with them, because they show kindness and smile to every customer. Thank you for this experience.

I visited this restaurant after watching a very good ratings. But the thing is, the food is not up to the mark. Quantity is very minimal and price are very high. May be all foreigners have rated the restaurant this high. Don't expect exact Indian taste !!!

Freundliches Personal mit sehr leckeren Essen. Essen wurden schnell gebracht. Tahli ist sehr zum empfehlen. Essen hat eine leichte Schärfe was uns gefallen hat.

Wir haben das Restaurant im Urlaub besucht und weil es Top bewertet ist. Als Gruß aus der Küche gibt es Scheiben mit 3 Soßen. Hatten Reis mit frischem Gemüse und Fladenbrot l, sowie "eine Reise durch Indien" mit 2 Fleischgerichten und 1 Vegetarisch. Für uns war es das erste mal Indisch. Für jeden der verschiedenes probieren möchte l, war es genau das richtige. Reservieren von Vorteil, muss aber nicht.

We have visited a lot of indian restaurants in Germany whilst we've been living here but this was definitely the best indian meal we've had in a long time. If you like the taste of indian spices, then this is the place to go. Highly recommended and we will be going back whenever we are in the area.

Wir waren 2 mal dort und haben sehr gut gegessen. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Sie haben eine kleine Karte für den Mittagstisch aber war überhaupt kein Problem trotzdem von der normalen Karte zu bestellen. Dass man verschiedene Gerichte auch Vegan bekommen kann fanden wir auch sehr gut. Unbedingt den rotwein aus Indien probieren 10/10. Preis/ Qualität stimmt. Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind werden wir ganz sicher wieder dort essen. Viele Grüße

The service by the owner was very disappointing. He was RUDE. When we walked in the owner of the restaurant asked us to enter the restaurant only if we have time and to not otherwise. UNBELIEVABLE. The reason he mentioned was many Indians come and ask them to serve quickly as they had to catch train but we did not mention any of this yet he was rude to us at the entrance. Later when we got in, he told us to not ask for fast delivery of food as the restaurant was full but we did not even utter a word to him about the service at all and neither we asked him to serve us quickly. THE WORST EXPERIENCE WAS HE SERVED US CHICKEN BIRYANI WHEN WE HAD ORDERED VEGETABLE BIRYANI. Very dissatisfied with the experience.

We stayed near here for one week, driving from the UK. The curry here was so brilliant we got takeaway twice in 6 days! Wonderful place and highly recommend. I wish we lived closer!

DO NOT MISS. One of the best indian restaurant to reactivate your test buds in Germany. Manager is willing to give us an authentic test and was happy to see us and communicate. I recommend to have Chana chat, request for extra spicy indian style and you will remember me while you have that with beer. Cheers. This is a fantastic Indian restaurant in Chiemsee with excellent service. The food was prepared quickly and served quickly. The Chicken Bhuna Masala and Chicken Tandoori were delicious. Naan was just fine.

A hub of authentic traditional north indian cuisine...with a panoplie of food choice ranging from Vegetarian to non- vegetarian..along with a warm welcome and hospitality.. we felt literally as a " Maharaja". Whosoever is visiting Chiemsee, give it a go... you' ll feel elated. From Mauritius.

12 of my friends were planning a boys day out at a quaint Bavarian village Inzell, but being Indians we needed nice Indian food for dinner. I contacted Maharaja and spoke to Mr. Lucky, through gentlemen, I explained him the situation and asked if he could deliver ( the hotel we were staying was 40mins drive one way from the resturant). Mr Lucky was very helpful and agreed to deliver the food. It was warm, tasty with lots of condiments like mango lassi. We throughly enjoyed the food. Excellent quality and taste I surely recommend this resturant anyone visiting this area, rest assured you will not get disappointed.

After visiting 13 European countries and trying the Indian Vegetarian food in almost 30 different cities, I am still to experience the quality which matches the food we had at Maharaja.. Simply the best food we have had in Europe until now. The attention to details and customer experience is top notch.. We loved it so much that even after 8 months since our visit, we still use it as benchmark for rating other Indian Restaurants. My kids are willing to travel 5+ hours just to have a meal at this place.. Simply superb..

The food was exceptionally good and authentic. In many Indian restaurants, the taste difference between different dishes sometimes are not authentic and end up tasting all main dishes kind of same. But here it was so distinct taste of the dishes we ordered that we were impressed. The Matter paneer and Lamm Balti was so yummy, I cannot express in words. The chicken pakora amount was very good amount of 4 chicken strips and I was very impressed. The tomato soup was also very good and the new Naan of their menu was mouth watering. Even my German friend was so impressed with the distinct tastes of the dishes. I would like to thank the restaurant and the chef for the delicious food. It is said, the way to heart is through stomach and good food, and you won our heart. 😊 I highly recommend the place and hope we can visit there again, coming from Munich! 😊 All the very best Maharaja Indian restaurant. 🤗🤗 The food was too good and we finished so fast that we could not take any picture 🤭🤭 Next time!!!👍

This is among the best indian restaurants I have ever visited. Everything was so good and well prepared. The staff were incredibly friendly and I would happily come back here anytime! The curry and other dishes had so much flavor, but were still light and refreshing. Definitely worth the visit and much better than most of what's in Prien...
