    It was a special day because they had spare ribs and so I went straight for that! The spare ribs were cooked very well. I wouldn't say the sauce was that great because it tasted like Currywurst sauce. Since I'm American, I've tasted a lot of awesome BBQ rib sauces in my lifetime and this one wasn't really great but the meat was still verge delicious. the roasted chicken was very succulent and tasty too but a bit too salty!

    The service was extremely poor as we waited for over half an hour for our order for drinks to be taken and then waited another 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive. I found the staff to be unfriendly and unwelcoming. The food was nice and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

    great place to go, have some "halbes" hell or dunkel, or if you want to go for it a whole Mass. Don´t forget the Brezel and some Obatzter, or what ever you find interesting to try. Live musk and interesting people to watch or sit with.

    Loved the live music, and the atmosphere was on point. After living in Germany for 4 years, we love visiting the Biergartens. This one was very tradition Bavarian! Will be back.

    A very pretty Biergarten in the woods, a nice 20 minutes walk from Solln. Spaten and Franziskaner beers are on tap, and a nice assortment foods are offered. The pretzels are very nice, and the obatzda cheese mix goes great with it. There's usually low key live music there, played at a volume that still allows for easy conversations with friends.

    One of the best Biergarten in the near of the Isar, a perfect place for a bike riding from town. It’s usually quite full with a big playground for the children. Usually it was a Jazz band on Sunday but yesterday was a kind of party band, well, no bad though but it’s such a pity.

    For my family and I, this is the best Biergarten in Munich. Nice bike rider, lots of space and fixing supplies for bikes, good food, beer and music. Also, there’s a good playground area close to the tables.

    One of my favorite places to visit in Munich. We stay within walking distance because we know the delicious pils will be flowing. The food offerings are traditional Bavarian and quite good. In a twist, the live music is not Blasmusik, but rather something akin to Dixieland jazz. You’ll enjoy relaxing under the numerous shade trees. Top recommendation.

    This place is amazing for its location and music. They also known as “jazz biergarten”, because from spring to early fall they have live jazz bands in the little stage in the center of the garden. They also have a nice selection of foods (stecker fisch, crepes, etc plus the normal Biergarten food). Also they have a nice place for kids, so it’s very family friendly. The connection with public transportation is not the best, but good access with bike or car.

    This Biergarten is in such a beautiful location and the food is classic Bavarian fare. Unfortunately we weren't able to go while there was a jazz band, but the beer, food, and atmosphere was great.

    A really nice to chill out after or during a walk alongside the Isa. Food was nice, view was good, atmosphere really nice and very friendly people. Also the bathrooms were kept clean.

    Absolutely amazing Biergarten! A part of it is a conventional restaurant and a huge sitting area is the Biergarten with self-service. Multiple kiosks available for a good variety of food and drinks...both alcoholic​ and non-alcoholic. There is a playing area for children. The surroundings are lush green with the river Isar near as well. There is a band always performing Bavarian and sometimes international music tunes too. And yes, ketchup, mayo, senf are free ;)
