Pancakes yummy, anything will be if soaked in Nutella though. Cakes not good. I don’t mind how expensive I’d pay anything for nice cakes. But these cakes are dry and boring!! The pistachio cake is mostly almond with green coloring. The carrot cake is the biggest disappointment, so dry and lacking more frosting.

The pastries were good but nothing extraordinary. They are really pricey; for 7.5€ per pastry I was expecting a bit generous portions but they portion sizes were quite underwhelming

I felt too expensive for the line-up, which was not very exciting and special as "Choco" lab... Also ice-cream was too sweet, sorry but no repeat.

Insanely smart baristas and if you get to have a conversation with them - you will be surprised how inspired you are. Speaking perfect English and serves legit "Ice Coffee!" - Not just the "Eis Coffee" but actually with just ice cubes, which is very rare in Germany. Very Cool!

This place has some amazing cakes and chocolate. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. The only downside is that it is card only and that they are a bit on the pricy side. However, for a special occasion, it is highly recommended.

The best cake ever in Germany!! We have tried the carrot cake, hazelnut, cheese, red velvet and fruit tarts. All of them are very delicious. I bought them for my birthday and shared with close friends. If you are in Munich, do not miss the local shop ❤️

It was a pleasant experience with good breakfast options and traditional Greek delicacies and coffee as well as super-friendly staff, but I'll have to deduct 1 star for the prices : a bit on the steep side (not a piggy-buster though ! ). Definitely worth visiting in any case! :)

In the last couple of weeks I picked up some late night sweets at their location. My impressions are mixed. Some items, like a vegan chocolate mini cake didn’t taste at all. I tried it twice and had a feeling it was too sour, not sure if it’s should taste like that. Other deserts were from great to just ok. Price was a bit on the high side for the quality, is my impression. Although optically they all look amazing. Service was nice every time and atmosphere just ok. I can’t imagine a cosy coffee-and-cake spot there. Parking is tough to find.

The selection of sweet temptations is terrific. In quantity and quality. The staff, on the other hand, is still lagging behind a bit. Be it in attention or speed. The prices range from reasonable to seriously overpriced. In particular, from 50 up to 70 cents surcharge for milk alternatives are usurious and you have to ask yourself how they can be justified! Update June 2023: Please don’t thank me for my understanding, as I do not understand. One litre of organic oat milk has a retail price of round about 1 Euro. So for you as a business it’s probably cheaper. Therefore your reasoning does not make any sense from my point of view. But to be fair: You are not the only one doing that - increasing profit margins via “cow milk alternatives - however some chains or cafes already have stepped back from this practice.

The place and the service is very good. The pancakes we ordered took a while to come into our table. No problem with that if they were freshly made. However, this was not the case. Unfortunately, I had the impression they came straight from the fridge which I did not like at all for their price. Anything else ,like the coffee, sandwiches are great . This place is recommended from my side, however there is room for improvement regarding the pancakes.

To be really honest, a bit disappointed. Friendly service, some food looks very appetizing - but definitely not all of it. I'm not very picky, normally I find everything tasty, and I'm a big dessert fan. I found the spinach pastry I had quite good, but the elaborate dessert (I was there for sweets!) - not very. Kinda bland. Other cakes looked a bit poisonous with weird colors added. Didn't try the whole menu, but probably not going there again.

Although the espresso macchiato is steeply priced at €3 (2,70 to go) and cakes at €7, the service is exceptional with friendly staff and engaging entertainment like books and coloring pens for children. It's worth noting the price difference between takeaway and dine-in options. Additionally, they offer daily birthday cakes, such as red velvet and black forest, without reservations for €49 per 1.5 kg, or with reservations and special orders at €49 per kilogram.

Nice store, the pistachio cakes are a bit too dry and the ice cream a bit too sweet.

Amazing place! Amazing warm atmosphere. The best coffee, huge choice of hot chocolate and teas; magical sweets and trully great pitas, if you want smth non-sweet. Wi-fi is working and they are always open!!!! 100% recommended!

The quality of the sweets is average, but the price is super high. If you eat inside, keep in mind that the price will be 2-3 eur more than takeaway.

Authentic Greek pastries with a good selection of vegan dishes. However, it takes them very long to make coffee. Can't say anything about their vast chocolate and cake selection, as we usually only grab a pastry and coffee.

Deserts were Great but their customer service was extremely rude. We asked if they spoke English And from there their demeanor changed towards us.

The best patisserie in Munich! There is a variety of homemade sweets, ice and delicious cookies as well coffee! The hospitality is absolutely amazing! I can recommend it 1000%! Try some of the sweets and you will not be disappointed, trust me! 😊

An AMAZING experience - chocolate made with love At first it looks like a normal cafe, maybe like a Bäckerei. But don't be fooled. There is an artist in the kitchen. Try the home made chocolate drinks - the Classic Roots and Velvet Madagascar are to die for. The only equivalent I think of is Beluga in Munich and Rausch in Berlin - which is quite a reference!! A true Jewel!!!

My favorite coffee shop to do my work and chill, and enjoy some of the best coffee, conversation & chocolate cakes.

  • 3/5 Right Said F. 2 years ago on Google
The quality is definitely not worth the high price. Lots and lots of sugars and cheap ingredients. However the Greek and Turkish sweets are spot on. Service was understaffed and stressed out, after waiting for 20 mins we paid at the counter.

Such friendly service! I wanted to give my friend a surprise, so after talking with Chocolab, they reserved a box of chocolates for me, and tied the ballon I brought with the chocolate box beautifully. The next day when we stopped by, we received this, my friend was really surprised by it. Thanks Chocolab, to make our day! Your warm-heart deserve a far beyond 5-star rating! And no doubt, the chocolate is very tasty. 😊
