This unique combination between a small museum full of unique sights, a sales room with a wide range of products and the very friendly, patient and informative service makes you forget about time. After 2 hours we set off to another attraction in Nuremberg... and we left with the very good feeling that we had been advised by an excellent expert and that we had purchased real amber quality!

We were here in mid-October 2017. The exhibition area is small but nice. During the tour we were able to learn a lot about the history and origin of the various ambers. We then bought beautiful silver earrings with multi-colored amber stones in the shop. The range of amber jewelry is overwhelming and you should take time to browse and marvel. We'd love to come back!

Worth seeing small museum. We were amazed at the color spectrum of amber. The owner's additional information was very interesting. In the store you will find beautiful pieces of jewelry for every budget. My wife really enjoys a small ring in the shape of a butterfly with amber wings.

We were there a few days ago and looked at both the museum and the jewelry available for purchase and bought a pendant and ring there. The exhibition with the various exhibits and the free tour by Mr. Hemis Senior were really great. The selection of jewelry is really very large and the prices are more than reasonable, plus good advice is great. My recommendation: Be sure to check it out if you like amber - take your time, there is a lot to see.

The tour through the beautiful small urn in the museum, which has been accumulated over the course of 30 years, is simply very interesting, detailed and very informative. I can only recommend the visit to everyone. There is also a variety of beautiful jewelry! A visit is worthwhile for big and small amber fans!!!

The museum is simply awesome! We weren't announced and got a free tour (we left a small donation) and a detailed explanation about amber, the different types, etc. I learned a lot about amber and can only recommend this great museum with an additional shop to everyone!! !

We had a very nice tour through the world of amber. The exhibits in the small museum are diverse and amazing - you have to see them. All of our questions were answered competently. The authenticity test was also interesting, with the visitors first assessing what was fake and what was natural amber. In the shop you will find an extensive range of jewelry and unprocessed amber. Highly recommended!

Good museum with the largest amber in Germany (approx. 12.5 kg). It provides a very good insight into the world of amber. The shop is ideal for purchasing gifts and souvenirs.
