Getafe is a municipality and a city in Spain belonging to the Community of Madrid. It takes around 20/25 minutes to get to the Ibis Hotel. The hotel has a ground floor, and 2 floors are filled with rooms. The doors of each room are written in chalk, which shows originality. The hotel staff provides you with a physical card key, which enables you to get into the room. I am not sure how many rooms are in the building itself, but I would say there are a lot of them. The number of days I am staying is 3 days, which is enough. Ibis Hotel has a bar that offers food. However, there are certain foods you can order, and others you cannot, it depends on the day itself. When you come from the main entrance, there is a menu, and it either offers food 24/7, which is highlighted in the menu, and other food that is not on offer 24/7. For you to get from Barajas airport to Ibis Madrid, Getafe, you take either the Metro Cercanias or the train or a bus. I took a taxi. DO NOT FORGET, YOU HAVE TO COME TO GETAFE CENTRO. It takes about 10/15 minutes to walk from the underground station in Getafe centro to Ibis Hotel Madrid, Getafe. The taxi driver wanted to charge me 30 euros to start with, saying that in other parts of Madrid, they start counting from 30 euros onwards, however, the rate was 20 euros onwards and I ended up paying 46 euros for 20/26 minutes travelling by taxi. If you are coming with family to this part of Madrid, I would recommend a Taxi, but as a solo traveller like myself, you can hop for the Metro cercanias or the train itself. The difference between both is that the Metro stops on every station and the train does not. The hotel cleaners clean the rooms, but I am not sure whether that is on a daily basis or not, I will provide further feedback on that. The hotel is based in an industrial state, but with a few shops around and restaurants. I hope this helps the traveller.

Ordinary. Nothing special. Most of the time door card didn't work, room light/bulb was missing and even complaint didn't solve. One day later they changed room after requesting to 3 persons. New room was super!

Highly warm hospitality, excellent staff, especially very thanks to Mrs. Begonia. I had a great time. I will come back soon.

The hotel is simple but good, when you are staying at Ibis you expect nice and simple rooms for an affordable price. Overall everything was ok.

Very warm welcome from the entire hotel team, breakfast filled with good things. Nothing to say about cleanliness. Thank you to Froi for his professionalism, kindness and the welcome he offered us every day spent in the hotel lobby.

It was on the first morning, when I was taking my breakfast and had to grab a coffee not so fare from my table. It was for almost one minute, then when I come back to my table, I didn't find my belongings. At first we thought that someone took it by mistake, but then after a while it was obvious that someone steal it. The reception guy suggested that we call the police and try to review the security cameras ( as it needs to be seen in front of the police officers) And yes, they saw 3 persons entered to the building and took my back bad. Apparently it happened many times in there and because clients from outside the hotel can enter and use the bar. During my remaining days, I was seeing peoples doing the same thing when putting their bag near to their tables, the time they bring food. It could happen to anyone! When you know that this happened many times, you could at least notify the hotel guests or put someone in front of the main door as security when it is full. WHAT SHOCK ME THE MOST, IS THE WAY THE HOTEL STAFF SEEMED TO NOT CARE SO MUCH ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED. LIKE THEY ARE USED TO THIS KIND OF INCIDENTS.

It's near the c4 train... About 10 minutes walk. Rooms are pretty tight and utilitarian but don't expect the bells and whistles of a Holiday inn or that kind of place. Breakfast is about 10 euros and well worth the price. Buffet with lots of good choices. Clean and friendly.

Great stop-over hotel we've found driving from the Santander Ferry to Almuñécar. The rooms are clean and comfortable. No issues with parking. They accept dogs and there is a nice walking area in front of the hotel. There's a bar and restaurant with a limited menu, but there are 2/ 3 restaurants we've found all within a 5-minute's walk from the hotel.

Seriously needs updating like other Ibis hotels. Restaurant and the furniture from the 1980s! Disgusting carpets etc. Food average. Rooms cheap though.. B&B down the road looks new and nice!

Facilities, great. Room, great. Customer service, poor. The night shift front desk girl, a little rude.

Good value. Please note the description on the hotel’s website is misleading. The hotel does not welcome pets, unless welcome means that the pet (a dog in our case) has to stay in room all the time.

Poor breakfast... Not enough fresh fruit, dry croissants. We book it every year, and every year the price rise and quality reducing. Friendly staff and tidy rooms.

The hotel is very beautiful and parking is only 5€ per night of cost. The rooms are very right and the bed is amazing, they have a oatebyed bed that is very very comfortable. The bathroom is very right, you can purchase some shaver, toothbrush and all that in reception. The location is good if you go with car because is in a side of A42, it means 10 minutes to atocha station and 15 to La Castellana. For me was a very good experience and a right breakfast, not included, 7.5€

if you need to stay in a affordable prices in Madrid, I think this is the best option. Ibis Business hotel which is nicely connected to the center by metro train you can reach in 20-30 minutes. The rooms are pretty basic, they dont even provide the water kettle for coffee but the room are tidy and bathroom is good. Staff is welcoming, over all a good experience.

This is a pleasant, well-equipped hotel in a surprisingly good location for seeing the sites of Madrid and the vicinity. At our recent stay the rooms were quiet, clean, and pleasantly laid out with a comfortable bed and well-lit bathroom with shower and outlets. The staff was friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was good with traditional potato tortillas, yogurt and toppings, fresh fruit, cold meat, cheese, dry cereal, assorted breads, croissants coffee, tea, juice and cold and warm milk and soy milk. Hotel is just a 15-minute walk from the Getafe Centro Station, (yes, I timed it). From the station, using the renfe line, C-4, it’s just 4 stops to the Atocha station – next door to the Reina Sofia Museum, (Picasso’s Guernica), or 5 stops to the Sol station, gateway to bustling Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel and countless shopping, drinking and eating experiences. Current round trip fee on renfe to Sol or Atocha of 3.7 euros. (I took the C-4 multiple times during my 7-night stay). If you want evening or afternoon refreshments for your room, the hotel has an in-house menu and bar but is also a short walk to a Mercadona market, which has a nice variety of wine, beer, cheese, bread produce and seafood. As an added plus, we were able to take the Renfe line to the hotel from the airport. We took the C3 line to N. Ministerios then switched to the C4 line to Getafe Centro. I would highly recommend this hotel as a great value and good way to enjoy Madrid.

Fresh clean hotel, comfy bed, air con and very acceptable for the price . €58, including price for my dog. Double room with All channels English, and WiFi. Quite impressed. I would prefer not to pay for my tiny dog, as he was no cost to the hotel, but hey ho.
