Getafe
is a
municipality
and
a
city
in
Spain
belonging
to
the
Community
of
Madrid.
It
takes
around
20/25
minutes
to
get
to
the
Ibis
Hotel.
The
hotel
has
a
ground
floor,
and
2
floors
are
filled
with
rooms.
The
doors
of
each
room
are
written
in
chalk,
which
shows
originality.
The
hotel
staff
provides
you
with
a
physical
card
key,
which
enables
you
to
get
into
the
room.
I
am
not
sure
how
many
rooms
are
in
the
building
itself,
but
I
would
say
there
are
a
lot
of
them.
The
number
of
days
I
am
staying
is
3
days,
which
is
enough.
Ibis
Hotel
has
a
bar
that
offers
food.
However,
there
are
certain
foods
you
can
order,
and
others
you
cannot,
it
depends
on
the
day
itself.
When
you
come
from
the
main
entrance,
there
is
a
menu,
and
it
either
offers
food
24/7,
which
is
highlighted
in
the
menu,
and
other
food
that
is
not
on
offer
24/7.
For
you
to
get
from
Barajas
airport
to
Ibis
Madrid,
Getafe,
you
take
either
the
Metro
Cercanias
or
the
train
or
a
bus.
I
took
a
taxi.
DO
NOT
FORGET,
YOU
HAVE
TO
COME
TO
GETAFE
CENTRO.
It
takes
about
10/15
minutes
to
walk
from
the
underground
station
in
Getafe
centro
to
Ibis
Hotel
Madrid,
Getafe.
The
taxi
driver
wanted
to
charge
me
30
euros
to
start
with,
saying
that
in
other
parts
of
Madrid,
they
start
counting
from
30
euros
onwards,
however,
the
rate
was
20
euros
onwards
and
I
ended
up
paying
46
euros
for
20/26
minutes
travelling
by
taxi.
If
you
are
coming
with
family
to
this
part
of
Madrid,
I
would
recommend
a
Taxi,
but
as
a
solo
traveller
like
myself,
you
can
hop
for
the
Metro
cercanias
or
the
train
itself.
The
difference
between
both
is
that
the
Metro
stops
on
every
station
and
the
train
does
not.
The
hotel
cleaners
clean
the
rooms,
but
I
am
not
sure
whether
that
is
on
a
daily
basis
or
not,
I
will
provide
further
feedback
on
that.
The
hotel
is
based
in
an
industrial
state,
but
with
a
few
shops
around
and
restaurants.
I
hope
this
helps
the
traveller.
