I visited Madrid for 3 days and came here twice because the avocado toast was so good. It's a very cosy cafe with few seats so if you can grab a table definitely do take it! The banana bread was also very good. I would give it 6/5 stars if they had more milk replacements e.g. oat milk but can look past it. Highly recommended.

As a non-coffee drinker, Café Angélica is a miraculous place to me. Their coffee is equally smooth and complex. On my second visit, I found out they go through batches of coffee so every visit is a new experience. I have tried their coffee from Guatemala (oh, my my!) and Costa Rica. Delicious! The atmosphere is equally lovely. Seeing Madrid's life pass by through the windows of this café is an experience in its own right. Parking in the area was difficult. There is a public parking 30 seconds down the road.

The coffee was absolutely magnificent. No need for sugar and as little milk as possible. It truly can be enjoyed by itself. The salty treats were also quite pleasant.

I was expecting specialty coffee made by barista but I found an average coffee. No special taste or texture or flavor. Maybe my mistake and this is not that place, but I cannot recommend it as specialty coffee place.

The coffee was a bit bitter for my taste but their brownies can NOT be missed! It is heavenly fudgy and just awesome. It is a bit too chocolatey so you might wanna split it with someone. The place itself is vintage & cosy and the barista is nice

The owner roasts the coffee in-house. One of the workers took me to the roasting room and walked me through their process. The barista made the coffee by the book, and each cup got his full attention and effort. The espresso was a bit sour for me, but excellent.

My first espresso in Madrid was excellent. Angelica roasts their own coffee in a small batch Probat roaster. They have a Marzocco, each dose is weighed and the grinder is dialed in well each day. My pull was sweet, juicy.

Very solid, tasty coffee. The bread was delicious as well and the style is very visually pleasing. Bought some tea as well but haven't tried it yet. But everything seems very well picked, so I'm sure it'll be great.

This is easily my favorite coffee spot in Madrid, I come here daily! They roast in-house on tuesdays which enhances the already amazing smell the store has (it literally is like aroma therapy). The store actually has historic meaning as well, as I learnt from one of the workers, it’s actually the oldest or second oldest spice store in Madrid, which also explains the smell. They kept the antique interior and just added the counter, and two small tables, which gives it a very cool vintage vibe. The entire staff is very passionate and kind and really try their best to make me learn Spanish which I approve! They have cow, oat and soy milk options as far as I know.

A tiny coffee place with nice, quiet atmosphere, friendly service and very good coffee. A small selection of toasts and deserts. Not the place to eat a large breakfast, but great for a nice cup of coffee with a bite on the side.

My Spanish is limited but the staff let me fumble my way through an order and stopped to chat with me once i had my coffee. Coffee & company was excellent!

Great coffee roaster in downtown Madrid. It my favourite coffee dealer for day to day coffee beans. Great value for money, with a really high quality coffee that that roast in place. It has only two tables, but it’s really worth it to stop for a while and enjoy a 5 star coffee with calm. Super professional and friendly staff, always willing to make your stop enjoyable.

Very nice, small coffee shop. They have in-house roasting, a big selection of coffees and spices to take home, and also have a variety of preparations in the store, including a fine v60, chemex, etc. A nice find given the dominance of espresso coffee in Madrid.

WOW!!!! This place is amazing, soft subtle coffee tones, an apothecary of fragrant spices and herbs, add great pastries and tasty delights and you have a must have stop. The Cappuccino is freshly ground and light, frothy and delicious. The café con leche, creamy, airy, served perfectly paired with the sweet Sobao. The sweet frothy Cappuccino from Colombia is paired awesomely with the crunchy, zesty Cabo de Hornos. Definitely recommend this sexy simple coffee joint.

😠 It’s rare to be spoken to so rudely in a city as wonderful as Madrid. We were a party of 8 that the lady refused to seat until everyone was present. 5 of us were already there and 3 yet to arrive. She claimed that it was impossible to seat us all together despite the terrace being almost empty as yo...
