As someone who consumes vegetarian food only occasionally, I was blown away by the quality of the food at Vegan Bliss. Every dish was executed to loving perfection – from the char kway teow brimming with wok hei, to the satay with an irresistibly-chewy bite. The quality of food here can make a monk gain enlightenment and a carnivore turn vegetarian. Add that to nett prices, an IG-worthy interior and brisk service, Vegan Bliss is an eatery truly deserving of 5*.

23th/Oct/2023, Heavy Rainy Monday Oops , this signature fried rice a bit too dry for me and still generous big portion , I can’t finish it alone. 20th/Oct/2023 , Rainy Friday As Always, Redang Ramen came in a substantial portion, complete with dumplings and a refreshing broth. It was another happy day at Veganbliss. 18th/Oct/2023, Rainy Wednesday I continued my culinary adventure at Vegan Bliss, having previously sampled their Nasi Lemak. Today, I decided to try their Special Fried Kway Teow. The portion was remarkably generous, leaving me pleasantly surprised. It was so sizable that I might just skip dinner after this satisfying lunch. The Kway Teow had a delectable wokhei flavor that truly stood out. I'm thankful for this delightful meal, happy day .. 16th/Oct/2023 Sunny Monday I stumbled upon the Veganbliss (蔬福) vegan restaurant. Its elegantly simple interior instantly drew me in, and I decided to explore vegan cuisine. I sampled the classic nasi lemak, which was surprisingly delicious, complete with all the traditional side dishes and a bowl of soup. I would rate it a perfect 10. Excitedly looking forward to having it again for lunch tomorrow! 😋

Love Vegan bliss as they are open throughout the day and all the dishes we’ve ordered there so far have always been consistently delicious. Their outlet is also very clean, well maintained and bright!

My first meal of the year. Located at the heart of Joo Chiat. The restaurant was clean and tidy. The dishes are delicious and their service was fast. I highly recommend their mock Peking duck and claypot rice.

Dropped by for lunch after seeing the high reviews and wasn’t disappointed at all 👍🏻 Ordered the set lunch which has a choice of 5-6 mains and 3 drinks, coming in at $8.50 a set - which was the only thing that I felt can be improved considering there are more affordable vegetarian options (but I can understand the price due to the location of the store). That said, the portion is HUGE, both the rice and ingredients - and they are very flavourful! Being on a “Low-carbs” diet, I struggled to finish the bowl of rice which was great yet overly generous. Definitely will consider returning to try their other options in future 👍🏻 Update Dec’22: Their ala carte selection also comes with huge servings, at least for the claypot mushrooms - definitely do not over order!

We were really sad when Loving Hut closed... but VeganBliss opened and it is a good news! Some dishes are from the menu of the previous restaurant (some are better, some not, but always yummy and well cooked), some are totally new. A really good place for vegans and vegetarians but also for people who want to discover a new cuisine :-)

Absolutely one of the most delicious vegan places I’ve ever visited! The menu has lots of really appealing dishes so it was hard to choose and I opted for the Satay Bee Hon. it was excellent - full of flavor, hearty and the portion was huge. The staff was super nice too!

Loving Hut handed over their business to ZiZai Vegetarian management in mid 2022. A few of Loving Hut's signature items, such as the fried kway teow and buah keluak, remain on the VeganBliss menu; the Loving Hut chef taught ZiZai Vegetarian the recipes. However, for the most part, the VeganBliss menu has been revamped. In all honesty, I find this menu slightly less appealing or unique, since it is much more similar to menus found in other Chinese allium-free vegetarian eateries (indeed, quite a number of items are the exact same as the ones found in ZiZai Vegetarian / D'Life / etc outlets). Hope some of Loving Hut's original dishes can be retinroduced and/or more innovative new dishes can be introduced to VeganBliss. Nonetheless, I'm happy that the ZiZai Vegetarian chain now has VeganBliss as their first fully vegan eatery! 20min walk from Eunos MRT.

Found this little gem near our hotel. BEST Vegan Peking Duck we have ever tasted, we are not big faux meat eaters, we were really impressed. The look, taste and texture was incredible, so authentic! And some awesome lightly steamed Okra.

A surprise find in the beautiful gentrified neighbourhood of Katong. You can take that Instagram worthy shot of the shophouses featured in “Crazy rich Asians” before coming here. I am impressed with the quality of vegetarian food because I seldom eat it. Weekday set meal at only $8.50, really worth it! I had the rendang ramen (love the spices), my friends had the claypot rice (featuring fresh broccoli and carrot) and also the bak kut teh soup. Lots of mushroom used in the dishes which give it the ‘’meat” texture. The hot lemongrass drink was also very nice and homely.

The Char kuey teow is good! A little bit on the sweeter side but it’s robust in taste and packs a punch (spicy). Organic soy is unsweetened and delicious. Only downside is the internet connection is quite bad inside.

Food are good. We order fry kuey diao, Nasi Lemak, Peking duck and some dim sums. Except a bit salty, food taste were good. Fry kuey diao live to what other said about the WowHei. Price slightly at high side but still reasonable. 3 of us spend close to $60, with drinks.

Great vegetarian restaurant! Pekin Duck and Char Kway Teow is a must try. Order by scanning QR code and paying by Maybank cards to get discounts.

Pretty decent vegetarian fare with some rather interesting dishes, e.g. vegetarian ayam buah keluak. Prices are a bit on the higher side, the location is somewhat off the beaten track, and the spotlights can be a bit glaring, but I think my experience here is good enough to warrant a second visit. I had their their Bak Kuh Teh ($13), which is rather light, non-peppery and sweet thanks to their generous use of licorice - so much so that it can barely be classified as Hokkien-style bak kuh teh, as well as 'nonya' monkey head mushroom curry ($16). The former could really use more herbs like angelica, while the latter was not as thick in consistency as I would like it to be. Don't expect much in terms of presentation. Service by the young lady is great. Make sure to order through the QR code found on the standee placed at each table for a 20% return voucher after checkout.

Vegan food here is good 👍🏼. The char kway teow tasted like the real version and it is a little spicy. The buah keluah tasted really good and worth the price with 4 big nuts in there and the Nasi lemak is also good. The sambal chilli was very spicy. Their ginger lemongrass drink is very very good. Overall, I enjoyed the meal there. You wouldn’t be disappointed with the food.

Minced meat rice with brown rice ($5.90 + $0.80 ) - 4 stars I asked for less salt and oil but the minced meat sauce was likely premade. It was way too salty, but after I um dipped it in the soup it was much better. Appreciate the protein in the form of black beans (likely the salted jarred sort), the beancurd skin in the "minced meat" and the delicious fried beancurd skin err patty. The saltiness was balanced by the unsalted cucumbers and broccoli too. Excited to come back and try their other dishes!

The sesame oil clay pot rice is nice. The so called “signature” fried rice so so only. Service is a bit slow (about 20minutes) for a weekday where there are not many guests.

Easy and fast to order. Very affordable prices, and excellent food. Good surprise, order roasted chicken rice for only 6.8$, comes with the soup. Very clean place, (air conditioning not too strong which is perfect for me).

Atmosphere is cozy. Menu is big. I really liked that they have dim sum! You order through your phone so this minimizes contact with the staff.

We're not vegan nor vegetarian folks and came here without expectations of similarity (to regular food). And we were pleasantly pleased with most of the food we had. The fried kway teow immediately hit the right notes with wok hei and the right amount of sweetness. I would have preferred my laksa thicker but still enjoyed this for the flavor and heat with the chilli. The cereal mushroom was crispy and tasty, not to mention the spicy and sweet cereal one can't resist. Minced 'pork' rice was a surprise with the black beans making it salty instead of the more common sweeter Taiwanese version. The nasi lemak would have been typical if it weren't for the super tasty and crunchy take on 'luncheon meat', sweet sambal and crunchy 'ikan bilis'. Service was sufficient since ordering and paying was all done on the phone and the restaurant was sizable and spacious during mid afternoon on a Saturday. We will certainly return to try other items on the menu and revisit many of the dishes today too.

Quite a good place to eat vegan food. Visited quite a lot of times during my stay in Singapore for two weeks. Out of all dishes that I had at the time of posting this review, I highly recommend Pineapple Fried Rice and Blackcurrant shake.

I enjoyed every bite of the meal in Veganbliss. Pet-friendly outdoor too. A perfect place for vegans and vegetarians but also for people who want to discover new dishes. I can’t wait to return :)

If vegan conjures up images of hair shirt asceticism, then VeganBliss is here to correct your prejudices. Clad in a clean, minimalistic white decor (a la Apple, or Xiaomi), with splashes of colour, VeganBliss manages to look both trendy and welcoming at the same time. Ordering, either via a paper menu, or a QR code on each table, is simple - and as easily as you order, your money is whisked away by ApplePay. Ordered coffee "chicken" and tofu with yam, with brown rice accompaniment. Tofu was comfort food in a claypot, with chunky yam pieces and mushroom. The broth would likely be richer with the addition of (whisper it: meat), but nothing beats the virtuous feeling of good food, without meat. The coffee "chicken" was unctuously rich and caramel-ly smoky sweet (nothing beats that sugar rush). Service was unobtrusive, if not gushingly friendly. Will have to come back to test out more options!

Food presentation was great BUT, too oily and almost everything is fried. The seasoning of their mushroom is too much or they overfried all their mushrooms such that it leaves a bitter aftertaste. Greendot's rendang mushroom is way better. Price is very affordable - lunch set 8.50. No GST and service charge, which is awesome. I would think twice about going in when I want to have healthy food. Maybe I can only order those soupy noodle dishes.
