Wonderful Place! Very Friendly staff and they have Good amenities like Fridge Microwave and Laundry! There rooms are clean and tidy. Common area is also very Good! Location is also near many bus stops! The man at Reception is a very kind and caring person! Tries to help you in every possible way! They also have only female dorm rooms for solo female travelers!

Few minutes walk from Geylang Bus Stop and Aljunied MRT Station. Absolutely affordable for backpackers. Staff were very nice too. A great hostel in Geylang with clean rooms, bathroom and strong air con. Loved having a chilled atmosphere to return to after exploring the city all day and night. Everything was good for a small budget. Good sleeping. Toilet, shower are in the room (Good) but both are in the same place if you do not know. The location is not the best. In general I would advise to avoid staying at those geylang streets, not a nice location, I did not feel safe there. If you want to feel at home while staying away from your home country this is the lodge for you!

Affordable place to stay especially for backpackers. Located in the Red district and the place is safe even at night. The owner is the receptionist and takes care of your requests when you check in. WiFi is surprisingly fast. It is also accessible to bus stop so travelling wont be a problem. I will surely consider this place again whenever I wanted to go back to Singapore.

The first and the best hostel so far that I've stayed outside of the Philippines. I would definitely recommend this to other travelers out there who are looking for a home to stay away from home. The staff is so accommodating (Albert) as well as the owner (Richard). It's my second stay here (December 2017) and as always I feel so much welcomed here. Looking forward to stay in this hostel again when I come back to Singapore in the future.

The most advantage here is transportation so that you can easily go every where. Quite near MRT station (~1km). Very near bus station (~200m two sides). Very near the famous Michelin frog porridge (~400m). Although it’s placed in Geyland street, it’s quite safe. Price is OK when have promotion. Free breakfast with sandwich, a lot of pastes and coffee. Hygiene is not so good in dorm room, but acceptable. Air conditioner in my room doesn’t work well.

They allowed me to leave my bags early and pick them up late, which was very nice. There is no elevator here and there are 5 floors, so be prepared. There were a lot of ants and it's not extremely clean outside of the dorms. It's located near many bus stops but it's right next to a lot of bars which is really sketchy at night. Also, the AC said 20 but it felt more like 24 in the room.

This one is clean, beds comfortable, dorm beds have curtains. It is in the night life district. However this wasn‘t a problem for me as a single female traveller, the street are lit up with street lights, after 11 pm however I opted for a cab/taxi on the way back to the lodge. Not because it is dangerous after 11 pm but I just felt more comfortable taking a cab back. Good value for the money!

Unfriendly host/manager. Was rude and irritable when I tried to check in. Poor customer service Uncomfortable beds which were hard and way too hot at night because the aircon wasn’t strong enough. They were thin and rattled whenever you moved so everyone in the room could hear. Bathroom was very dirty with hair and grot everywhere. And they make you take your shoes off at the front door so you have to stand in it all. Ugh. Wifi didn’t work very well and when it did, it didn’t reach the dorms. Located in the red light district which may bother some. I cancelled my stay after 1 night due to no sleep (room too hot) and very unfriendly staff.

I wish I had known that this place was smack middle of red light district! Wasn’t noticeable. Very local area. Public transport was both green line and yellow line, both 3 large main blocks away from hostel, about a 10-12 min walk. Green line Ajulneid MRT is closest. City centre took 20 mins from this station. Need $5 notes or smaller for MRT! I found it difficult parting in town and then getting back to hostel after midnight. Area was safe but public transit took too long. Hostel clean enough especially common areas. They mixed up my bed and the bunk is not easy to climb (girl in my dorm fell off!). Very basic rooms, which is to be expected for price! Food options nearby are all very local, hard to find vegetarian food. I liked hostel, bathroom was very clean but basic. Bed / mattress was very comfortable. clean bedding. Cutlery and dishes available in common area with kettle but no area to cook or fridge. There’s a washer / dryer available for use which is really nice.

I enjoyed my stay at Lodge 41. The rooms were very clean, they have a common area and a TV Room, and you can use their laundry machines for free! I also loved the fact that there were Filipinos working there, and they made my stay a lot more comfortable. It felt very home-y! I guess the only thing I didn't like was how low the bed bunks were since I'm a tall person and I tend to hit my head a lot. Also, the showers were always wet. But I get that that's the other guests fault, but yeah. I'd definitely recommend staying at Lodge 41!

I made a booking and already paid. When I ask for a refund after cancellation, they wouldn't dare to pay me back. The owner was rude and had no manners towards customers
