    I avoided staying by so many comments of poor AC system as confirmed by so many customers & the way the orientation of the hotel facing sun over a link glass facade. Also, was disappointed to be denied breakfast even with paying for it while I hold a gold tier IHG membership!

    A bit far out, walking involved even taking the bus to historic centre, other then that room is great, staff very friendly and helpful and breakfast was good and plentiful.

    Just stayed here for 1 night for a citytrip to Ghent. The hotel is +/- 30 minutes away from the centre of the city using public transport. Very friendly staff. If you forgot any of your essentials, you can just ask for it. The rooms are big and spacious with a comfy chair. They are also equipped with a/c although it's a bit loud. Breakfast (6-10:45) is fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The hotel has a closed parking at a price of €19. What I really like about this hotel, is their effort to be eco-friendly. It's shown in the Green Key award. Overall, very decent hotel.

    Nice hotel. But some ways out of town - you'll need a taxi or strong legs to walk it.

    Hotel is perfect I booked for a day from 9-18h( when u need peace) and everything was ok, beds perfect Cleaned room bigger enough Ok in the bathroom u could see some mould , the heater made noice But the service at the desk and the hotel is perfect! Thanks see you again

    - The hotel room is seriously outdated, has not been renovated since the mid/late 2000’s, very 'old style Holiday Inn' vibes, mold in shower. Shower has a shower curtain? Have not seen this in years in hotels. - Got a room with two twin beds, whereas I specifically booked a room with a single king bed. ‘1 king bed standard walk-in shower’. - Upon arriving, the heating in the room was broken and it was freezing in the room. Tried to turn it on, did not work, was moved to different room, where the heating also did not work, but it was at least a bit warmer. (they have old style wall mounted heaters/aircon units) - No greeting as a IHG elite member upon check-in, no welcome amenity, not even a ‘thanks for being a member’. - Had to settle the full invoice upon check-in, which led to no points being added to my account for the use of the bar/restaurant. Strange as normally a hotel just takes a reservation on your credit card, and you settle the invoice in the morning. - Parking code did not work, so had to walk back after checkout, adding 5-10 minutes extra to my journey in the morning, as more people were having issues. Apparently, the code they give you at check-in, only works for a few hours, no-one mentioned this at check-in. (I did have a parking inclusive rate) This hotel is not on par with the Holiday Inn Express brand, and seriously needs to remodel and re-train their staff. The hotel contacted me, explained some of the issues, and assured me staff will be retrained, they had a lot of new staff apparently. I have amended the review and added one star because of their response, which felt genuine. I will give them another try at some point in the future.

    This is a lovely hotel. The staff are all professional and friendly. The rooms are all clean. Plenty of choice at breakfast and the on site restaurant serves tremendous food

    Receptionist is rude! Unfortunately he denies any wrongdoing or any other complaints about his behavior as well as his actions that he must have done accordingly. Unfortunately he also denies wrongdoing of his colleagues and pushing the customer to pay for their mistakes. The receptionist is not a problem solver in any shape or form and not even trying to get things done and corrected but instead he points the finger to his colleagues, specifically to the new temp employees who are working there and unfortunately getting the training from such a person! The name of the receptionist is Botan! He is aggressive and does not have any respect for the people, specially the customers. The hotel management should taken this seriously and make sure that any action taken by the employees regardless of the person at the reception desk should be considered as an incident happened by the hotel and needs to be investigated immediately and will be fixed without wasting any time or cost to the customer. Hope to see this actioned soon and hopefully we will not experience it again in the near future visit. Thank you, Ali Noorbakhsh

    Great stay, clean rooms, close to a bus stop that has easy access to the city centrum or the train station. Employees were nice and accommodating, breakfast was served 6-10 and was delicious.

    Overall an okay hotel. Room is clean. Free Nespresso is a nice one (although I did not use it). Parking overnight is free. There is only one electric charging spot. One bad experience is the front desk: the staff is super slow. They don’t even bother the extremely long line in cold night and empty stomach? Always only one staff handling check in. Second bad experience is the breakfast. I would say that’s more like poor quality food made from a random guy. The scrambled egg is clustered, so hard and so tasteless. The ham is so fatty that you can barely chew it. I am very disappointed.

    The staff here are absolutely excellent and worked very hard to ensure we had a good stay despite arriving late at night with no reservation and only staying one night. The staff really went above and beyond. We were able to get a meal and a quick overview of what to see in Ghent. Thank you so much for such an excellent stay ✨😄✨😄✨

    I would like to thank Giabi. We had a problem on the road and asked for help at the reception. Giabi took care of us in the best possible way and made sure we found our way back! I would recommend this hotel with my eyes closed and hope to return to the area to stay here

    Really enjoyable friendly and extreme clean hotel. Arrival, check-in great. Also they try big time to be eco friendly.

    Nice rooms with air-conditioning, has secured parking, WiFi. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear the next door neighbours but still really good.

    Booking was completely messed up. Took 40 mins via phone to book 2 rooms for 2 nights. When we arrived they were completely inappropriate so all rooms cancelled and another tortuous 30 mins to book 2 rooms for 2 nights. Expensive rooms, dark and dreary, my so called 'accessible room was on 5th floor and was not the interconnecting room phone not plugged in, carers room on 2nd floor with broken coffee maker. More mature staff member slow and inefficient. Young staff very efficient and especially helpful with breakfast as I had dietary requirements they went out of their way to accommodate. Would have given a separate higher rating for the helpfulness and efficiency of all staff except the older man on reception. Breakfast advertised in House as complementary but charged for on booking site. Overall an expensive and rather depressing stay.

    Pretty confortable room except the A/C from the ‘90, making a lot of noise. Also, it has been a long time that I haven’t seen a shower with a curtain… could be a bit modern for the price…. but overall good stay.
