Bed and breakfast

😠 Worst experience ever!! We booked a room through Airbnb and it was not AT ALL as the owner of the apartment showed in the pictures. The room was clean and the apartment is in the city center, but the bathroom was very very dirty and not comfortable at all : there is a lot of mess everywhere, a shave... Worst experience ever!! We booked a room through Airbnb and it was not AT ALL as the owner of the apartment showed in the pictures. The room was clean and the apartment is in the city center, but the bathroom was very very dirty and not comfortable at all : there is a lot of mess everywhere, a shaver in the shower, hair in the sink... as you can see the pictures below. Moreover the room is located at the second floor while the bathroom is on the ground floor, so it’s not practical. I’ve never had such a bad experience before. I do not recommend at all this guesthouse.

Perfect location with the added bonus with the parking at a very reasonable price. He's done a great job converting this place Comfy bed Very reasonable price too Only negative would be the dodgy temperature in the shower

Leonard was a really nice host and we enjoyed our stay at his place a lot! The room was clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen downstairs is used by different guests but is also clean and fully equiped. The stairs can be narrow and steep if your room is on the top floor.

As a huge Andy Warhol fan, staying in the Warhol room was an unforgettable experience. Lots of space and cool objects to play with and photograph yourself with. Great coffee machine as well. Fantastic central location, lively area.

Friendly and communicative host. Nicely decorated and very spacious rooms. A stones throw from the main attractions in Ghent.

Nice, friendly and very (!) creative hosts. Huge house suitable even for parties in different stages, we've visited Rock&roll room. Comfy location, list of different activities, guide and special invention from the owner - Vremouth. Kids friendly, rock-n-roll room has a swing which my kid loved a lot. It seems that the crew put a lot of soul in this place so please come and support them!

In this price range and location you won't find a better deal than here. Leonard is also enormously helpful and the room was great! It's nice to support locals. Leonard thank you for having us.:)

Creative and quirky, yet mature. The host was the fascinating lord of the house, Count Leonard of the Ghentese art community. The rooms are all decorated to different themes and hand made decorations. Beds are comfy. Only improvement would be maybe adding carpeting to the hallway area to cut the noise and echo of guests entering. Guests with prudish tendancies are the only ones who might not enjoy the atmosphere, the information on thee hotel has a dose of what I understand ad local Flanders humor, which I found funny. Leonard was kind and always available. Many other services are available like kayak rental and painting supplies as written in the info book. I would like to stay again and take a break from the sightseeing to try to embrace my artistic side here!

We were kindly greeted by Leonard who showed us to the cool and funky appartment. It had clean towels, toiletries and also a guide to Ghent, local restaurants and places to visit, things to do. The place is close to the old city of Ghent, not too far from a local supermarket too. Communal kitchen also available in the house. The only down side was the cleanlines of the appartment. In addition it was terrible to use the shower as the water was coming from everywhere. The sink was blocked and draining very slowly. The check out time is flexible, and Leonard is always available on the phone.

I loved the concept! Everything is clean and working, each room has a theme, there are many inside and outside activities and Leonard is a great host.

Great place! Very friendly host, love the creative vibe. The room was a lot bigger than I expected, met some awesome people while I was there. Definitely recommend this place, it's right in the centre of Ghent, everything at reach by foot / by bike.
