the photos do not match reality. Very small apartment, there were 4 of us and there were only 2 chairs, in the kitchen there is almost nothing to cook and a 20-minute walk to the center.

Room was great but there was no internet for three days, and we can't find anyone around to ask why..

What you see is not what you get. Heavy cigarette smell in the room. Room not ready for us : no coffee, no water boiler. We are told that we have to check out by 10:00 when on the site, it says by 11:00. To get warm water in the shower : we had to let the water running for at least 10 mn. Very very noisy : you hear everything from the hallway so don't expect to rest not even on Sunday. Parking ? Very difficult to find a spot ! Next time in Ghent, we will look for other accomodation.... Owner just called to apologize. We appreciate very much.

Great location, just 25 minutes walk from Korenmarket. Good bus connectivity to Saint Peter's Station. Very clean. Double Bed & pull out sofa for 4 people. I wouldn't try to put 6 in it. Very functional for those who just want a place to sleep.

Needs some maintenance, white wooden floors grubby and scratched and barrier on mezzanine level was broken which could be dangerous if someone was to fall. Good location close to city and train station with parking nearby.

Myself and my partner stayed here for 2 nights great location. About 20 minute walk from the centre of gent. The room was a bit smaller than I expected but had a fully kitted out kitchenette which was quite handy. Would be a good idea to offer bike rental as it would be a nice way to get around the town.

Nice stay, everything was clean. The host was receptive to any task. Yes, it doesnt look exactly like in the photos, but now everyone is looking better online than in real life, so there was no disappointment. For this price it is a good accommodation.

I was surprised when I entered and the guy named Edward told me that my booking has been cancelled unfortunately and gave me another room, however the next morning, the other guy from reception tells me that Steve didn't check the bookings and the room Steve allowed me was already booked and told.me to leave the property asap. When I told him that it's been a tiring day and I cannot shift places as I only reached last night, he without any efforts, told me that there is no option . Folks, the Studio might be good but the staff is too harsh ,rude and not at all friendly. They don't know how to serve their customers.

Great studios unless you're sick on the third floor. No elevator and steep staircases. If you go with a large size suitcase good luck!!.. other than that, the place is very nice and clean and in a great location. Street parking.

I went to Belgium with my son as I wanted to show him a couple of interesting places that I managed to explore when I studied at Ghent University. I was a little bit sceptical about this type of accommodation as I have never stayed in similar places (I would choose a hotel in the first instance). However, booking Edivile Studio proved to be a great choice. First, the place is located very close to the train station, Ghent University and the city center. That makes it an ideal starting point to explore not only Ghent but other places in Belgium. With a close location of the train station and great connections provided by Belgian Railways you can reach the majority of tourist attractions spreaded around Belgium in less than 90 min. (Brugge, Ostend, Antwerp, Brussels). I enjoyed the simple check-in and check-out procedure, the room was clean on arrival and it was really nicely equipped (as described on website). Communication with the owners was very smooth. Numerous shops located around were very useful when we wanted to buy ingredients and cook something in the apartment. Countless restaurants and fast food bars gave us a chance to eat something quickly when we did not have the time to cook. On top of the above there was a really affordable price. Although we did not have a time for cycling or kayaking Edivile Studio can arrange both kayaks and bicycles if needed. In summary, I received a lot for an affordable price and will certainly stay there on my next trip to Belgium.

Everything you need for a studio in Gent. Had a fam time here and good location.

We hired the place through airbnb and unfortunately the place was not what we expected. Few issues needed to be fixed so we agreed with the host to cancel the accommodation and refund the amount payed. After some back and forth messaging I am able to say that the host managed the situation well and we could after all enjoy our stay in Ghent

The rooms have a specific smell. There is no doors for a toilet and its connected with the kitchen..location is pretty good, but comparing the price and the hotel it self its not worth the money.

On the website I used (booking.com) it looks very attractive and for a good price. (Edit - see below) I ended up being quite disappointed for a few reasons. 1. The promise of renting bicycles seemed like a nice addition, only to receive an email on the day of checking in that I would need to reserve bicycles a few days ahead of arrival. The receptionist was willing to make a call to get us the bicycle by 12:00 the next day. Being there only for the weekend that didn't help me much. I ended up renting bicycles that could be picked up immediately from "De Fietsambassade Gent". 2. For having the option of renting bicycles there was a surprising lack of indication where to put the bicycles. When we put the bicycles somewhere against the wall, we were almost yelled at for not knowing where to put them, and were very rudely pointed to the correct place to leave the bicycles. 3. While heading up the stairs, there is no indication of where to turn on the lights, if you happen to miss the light switch while carrying your luggage up the stairs, you will have to do it in almost complete darkness at some points. 4. In the apartment there were a few safety risks that I noticed. The light fixture in the kitchen/living room area of apartment 303 was hanging loose, and one of the chairs was also not fully assembled or done poorly, because if you move a bit you might find yourself sitting on the floor in no time. One more thing I have noticed is probably a bit more on the upkeep side, but the window was only partially functional. 5. I was really going to let this only be a bad experience and forget about it, but then I got an email from Edville Studio asking me to leave a "good" review for the chance of winning a free night for two at Edville Studio. In all honesty, I don't think I would even want to win that. P.S. the "no noise after 10pm" seems like more of a suggestion than a rule as it is not enforced or mentioned at check in. P.P.S. I really didn't want to write this review, but I felt that people who consider this as accommodation should be aware of what they could expect. (Edit) Just received a call from Edville Studio, they apologized for the discomfort, and promise to do something about my complaints. (+1 star)
