Beautiful place but if you look down in the sea you will have a sad surprise, all the dirt is going from the drain straight to the sea. I was expecting something else from British Government but this is the cheapest solution. 200 metres away is the beach perfect for a swim :(

It is a must see place though I did not see the rock properly and did not have time to go and play with those amazing funny but also a bit disturbing monkeys. The rock went on and off hiding in clouds and emerging again like playing a game with me beckoning me to come again. And I surely will. It is worth it. And it is so very British there at the very south of my beloved Spain. Also very impressive views are there not only from the famous lighthouse. If you are lucky enough, you can see the Africa which for me has remained misteriously shrouded in fog. You can sit at a bench watching birds breath the breeze and just be.

Amazing experience. The tip of Europe from which you can see Africa. It is so close that the phone finds coverage from Morocco 😉

Views of Africa and Spain alongside views of the rock. Lighthouse, play area, sports stadium and battery all within the area. Battery itself has a room underneath which gives some wildlife facts and some history of Gibraltar. To get there is about 15 mins on the bus and its bus number 2 to get there. We went on a windy day and to note it did blow us about!! So maybe don't go on a windy day😂

We came to Gibraltar by car. Driving along this peninsula is also an interesting experience. Nice view of Evropa Point.

This is a really nice place, located on the south point of the rock. Stunning views over the straight of Gibraltar. Really clear views of the North African coast. Nice little bar and cafe, with really nice food. Lots of nice places to sit and enjoy the vista. It is an hours walk from the centre, but well worth it.

Excited to be at the most southern tip of the Europe. Easily accessible by public bus from market place or any stops along the way. Will pass by cable car station on way up. Can easily spend an hour there. Public bus pick up passengers every 15-20 min. Must visit when in Gibraltar.

Was quite windy and rainy when we visited but nonetheless.. it was visually stunning. Go there when it's sunny. Pictures say it all.

It's a must if you visit Gibraltar . Home to the most southerly Trinity House lighthouse. Wonderful views of the coast of Africa and across the bay to Spain. No. 2 bus from Grand Casemates Gate will take you there. Lots of parking available if you drive there.

Great view of the Gibraltar straights, nice pay park and good start point for a climb up the Rock and/or walk to St Michael's Cave and other sights. Accessible via No2 bus.

A great little cafe, food is very reasonable and good quality. Had some food and a beer wat he'd the kids play in the park. We the took a walk down to the Canon and on to the lighthouse. Fantastic spot in Gib, mainly away from tourists although tours do stop in every so often. Fantastic views out over the straight. A historically significant site, a must visit. 10 minutes by bus from the town centre.
