The stench of raw sewage was unbelievable coupled with a non functioning air conditioner, rude staff an appaling lift system to the 9th floor and an abundance of cigarette butts left behind by the lat tenants made me feel more like i was in Git-mo than a hotel. Avoid room 900 and this hotel altogether if you want an enjoyable trip to Gibraltar. Update - The manager has reached out to address the issues I noted in this post with the view to rectify for the next guests.

We have used this hotel for years. Absolutely the best place to stay in Gibraltar. Staff are so lovely, the location is pretty central and close to main street. The pool and sun terrace is keep immaculately you can obtain clean dry pool towels from the pool bar which means your room towels are kept clean and dry. The feel of the place overall has a very high quality feel. All rooms are very clean and well kept. The rooms are serviced daily with clean towels etc. The beds are very comfy and the rooms have air con which can be set to super chilled if you require. Each room also has a double glass door onto a small balcony which is lovely addition.

Loved staying here. Beautiful hotel with amazingly comfortable beds. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Ideally situated for town centre, bars and restaurants. Short walk to Marina. Excellent bar and restaurant downstairs with outdoor seating. Will definitely be back!

The Elliott Hotel was an excellent place to stay. I was there for almost two weeks. It was so calming and relaxing. Breakfast was excellent. They were short staffed in the kitchen, so the lunch and dinner menu were not consistent or tasty. They were out of certain menu items for my entire stay, which was sading. This was my only major complaint with the hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I think the bed was the most comfortable one that I have ever slept in..Lovely rooftop pool and bar..Really good breakfast. The cleanliness of the hotel is superb. Great location also. Ideal for a "getaway from it all" break.

Comfiest bed Iโ€™ve ever stayed in at a hotel. The breakfast offers a lot of choice and is of good quality. Room was clean and spacious. Staff very friendly and attentive. I think the only downfall was the size of the pool and as it wasnโ€™t on the roof top it didnโ€™t get any sunlight meaning cold water.

Perfect hotel stay for a Gibraltar wedding. The accommodations were excellent and the service from the staff was wonderful. Speaking of, the staff went above and beyond to make us happy, if only we could have stayed there longer! The Rooftop was the place to be, with a convenient restaurant, a pool and bar. The first floor also has a bar with excellent baristas who made us special delicious martinis. Next time we will be coming back to this hotel.

I was born in Gibraltar and left as a baby. In August 2022 I returned for the first time and chose the Elliott Hotel. It was perfect..from the location, cleanliness, breakfast, roof top pool and kind and friendly staff. I would like to especially point out a young lady who was particularly gracious - Jasmin. She always had a smile. She genuinely appeared to enjoy her role in assisting the guests. When I return I will be sure to stay at the Elliot.

First time in Gibraltar and The Elliott was the best hotel. It wasn't too close to airport but walkable, not much noise at night, staff lovely, rooms clean, food lovely. Gonna go back with the kids next time, yes there will be a next!

Just returned from a stay at The Eliott Hotel and could not have found a better hotel to stay at. Lovely reception, bar and restaurant. Rooms were fabulous very clean, comfortable and modern. All staff were wonderful, extremely attentive and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, great service, lots of choice and piping hot. Brilliant bar service with outstanding staff. The bar has lots of choice, cocktails are made from scratch and are delicious, the prices are very resonable and on par with any bar in the city. I would recommend this hotel, it is in a perfect location and would return if visiting Gibraltar again. Best hotel in Gib in my opinion. Thank you to the staff and The Eliott for making our stay brilliant

Great location for the hotel which is just off main street in Gibraltar ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ฎ It's also in a great place for bars, restaurants and attractions. The staff are all friendly, professional and supportive. The food is very good, with a great variety to cover all tastes. The staff are also a great place to ask them about the area too

Ideal location for a hotel, situated in the heart of Casemates, but enough out of the way that it was quiet during the evening. There were ample amenities for a four star hotel, the downstairs gym was well fitted with plenty of equipment, the rooftop pool with bar was simply idyllic. The outside seating area made for a great place to spend a couple of hours socialising in the evening, and the top floor breakfast area was a perfect spot to see the sun come up. Evening meals in the ground floor restaurant didn't look too extortionate, and the drinks were reasonable for hotel standards. My only issue was that the key cards weren't great. I had trouble activating the lift, getting in to my room, and getting the card reader in the room to work. My colleague also had similar problems and I saw a couple of other guests struggling with the cards outside of their rooms and in the lift too. Breakfast was pretty hit and miss, although in the main it was very good. The first morning they had ran out of butter very early on (we arrived at 7:30am), and on one morning most of the hot food had gone cold. The selection on offer was more than acceptable though to accommodate all tastes and, aside from the butter issue, everything else was kept stocked up. Housekeeping left the room looking brand new after cleaning, and the complementary drinks (including prosecco!) and chocolates in the fridge were a fantastic touch. All the staff were extremely friendly, and I would definitely recommend it for a pleasant experience.

We ate at the restaurant. The atmosphere was very nice. The food was alright. We paid almost 5 GBP more for the salmon since we ordered based on the menu for lunch and had to pay based on the menu for dinner - according to the waitress. Should not happen in that kind of a hotel.

A nice hotel in the middle of Gibraltar. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom is clean, warm and nicely equipped Parking is extremely limited and on a first come- first parked basis

Lovely smart hotel in the heart of Gibraltar, very well finished and recently refurbished. The restaurant on the roof is where you have breakfast, this can be a bit busy at times and there isn't much space, but you can sit outside next to the pool. The rooms are well sized with a good bathroom and comfortable bed. A nice bar downstairs with room inside or out in the sun-trap courtyard. All the staff we met were very welcoming and friendly. I'd stay here again.

Another return visit to this lovely hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversay. Located within a short walk to town, the stay is enhanced by their wonderful staff. We were looked after in the restaurant by Eugenio and at the bar I saw Christian go above an beyond in assisting another customer with their request. As my wife requires assistance, the rooms are spacious and easy for her to get around with a lovely accessible bathroom and shower. The staff are always happy to assist in calling for a taxi should be need one. We both look forward to our return in December to celebrate a birthday.

I recently stayed at this 4-star hotel in Gibraltar and found the experience quite satisfying. The central location made it convenient to explore the city. The staff were exceptionally helpful, offering valuable local insights. The highlight was the diverse food options, including a commendable halal menu. The service was moderate (moderate because of a minor inconvenience on the staffs part) but the delicious meals and the convenience of a central location compensated for it. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast added a nice touch to the overall stay. If you prioritize good food choices and a central location, this hotel is a solid choice for your visit to Gibraltar. The hotel's charm extends beyond its services and culinary offerings to the captivating scenic views that surround it. Nestled in the heart of Gibraltar, the hotel provides breathtaking panoramas of the iconic Rock of Gibraltar and the picturesque Mediterranean Sea. The scenic beauty enhances the overall ambiance, creating a tranquil escape for guests. Whether enjoying a meal at the hotel's restaurant or simply lounging in the common areas, the stunning views contribute to a truly immersive and memorable experience. The combination of central convenience, delightful cuisine, and enchanting vistas makes this 4-star hotel a noteworthy choice for those seeking a well-rounded stay in Gibraltar.

Brilliant hotel location is perfect for Main Street and all the shops. Food and drinks are reasonably priced with options for everyone. Pool area is clean and perfect view from the rooftop of all of the town and views of Africa and Spain . Breakfast was great with a variety of food options available. We received excellent service from everyone but we must mention the great help and service we received from Hayal,Autouio,Guino,Lorena who made our stay memorable and an unforgettable experience. Will visit again soon and we will highly recommend the Eliott Hotel to anyone who is interested in visiting Gibraltar

Perfectly located hotel, stunning rooftop pool, mattress and pillows like home and just a wonderful 5 star stay. Two hotel staff members, one at the front desk upon check in and another serving us desserts al fresco, made our stay even that much more memorable. We shall return!

I would say more than anything else is Sara at reception absolute helpfulness and accommodating attitude that made my stay so much better. Due to a small administrative error from my company Sara done everything to accommodate me and resolve the error. First class Sara is a real asset to the hotel!

The staff were all excellent and nothing was too much trouble, even noticing our wedding anniversary cards and making the room look special. The rooms were very clean as was the rest of the hotel. I will definitely book this hotel again.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. Not only is it in the perfect location it is a stunning hotel. All the staff are super helpful and very friendly. We had a small issue during our stay (not at the fault of the hotel) however the manager was quick to resolve and we were soon enjoying our stay. The restaurant (for breakfast) was superb and weโ€™re always on hand to help with anything. They have good vegan options however if your staying for breakfast I would recommend letting them know before your stay. The chef use to make mine fresh every morning. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are a great size. Very very comfortable beds. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Excellent location behind the main street. Good quality hotel, nice big rooms, comfortable bed. Rooftop pool with fantastic views over the straights of Gibraltar. We didn't eat here so unable to comment on quality of food. Would definitely recommend.

Location is great for the hotel and the breakfast was very nice with good service. Bed was aweful and very noisy on the first floor. The insulation between rooms was aweful and the TV could be heard through the door between the rooms which was locked and closed. Our own fault that we left some very nice Jamon Serrano in the fridge when we checked out but shame on the staff at the Elliots as when we called up to try and get it back it took two days to answer to tell us that nothing was found. Very sad that the staff had to lie about not finding it. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. In response to your reply below. Whatโ€™s your point that you have replied on two other platforms? Iโ€™ve only emailed which wasnโ€™t public and your reply was completely unsatisfactory. Your staff stole from your customer and I wanted to let the public know.

There are no wardrobes or cupboards - weird and inconvenient. The 'restaurant' is more like a cafe and the food is spoilt by unpleasantly-flavoured stale-smelling oil. The staff are all lovely, the room spacious (see above!) and the building clean and freshly-decorated. UK tv channels and You Tube streaming. Good location, convenient for everything.

Great 2 night stay. Friendly staff. The roof too pool is a welcome sight on hot days! I stayed bed and breakfast. The selection was good so I would highly recommend this option. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel - even smells amazing! Absolutely lovely team of people too - receptionists, bar staff - all so friendly and helpful. Room was perfect- clean, spacious, lovely big tv, great shower & there was even little complimentary chocolates for us in the fridge. Favourite thing has to be the rooftop pool though - just fabulous, although if I have to be picky - the pool water was really cold!! But other than that, what a perfect stay at The Eliott.
