The BEST beach in Gibraltar for tourists. The sand is golden and smooth, the water crystal clear. The beach has an artificial enclose that blocks the waves and makes it pleasant to swim. You have toilets, cafeteria with loads of drinks and you can rent a parasol for cheap. The rock will hide the sun after 6 pm in summer so make sure to arrive hours before if you want a nice tan.

The best beach in Gibraltar (there's not much competition). Soft sand, calm and clear waters. It was kept very clean while we stayed there for a week, it was very busy but never to unpleasant levels. There is a bar / cafe which i think works during the summer. Water activities centre too!

Nice beach to chill out on, great if you love Sandy beaches, but also cool if you want secluded rock areas, the water can be cold given that its close to the entrance to the med, but was just right when we visited in august 21. On the beach are a few places to get food and drink, as well as water boards.

Easily the best beach in Gibraltar (at least that we discovered in our 10 day stay) the sand is lovely, the sea is calm and clear and the weather is great. There are a lot of amenities also including a bar for food and drink, a place to rent paddle boards and public toilets and changing rooms, renting two sun beds and an umbrella for a day is Β£40 for the fixed ones or Β£32 with an umbrella that is moveable - and you get Β£12 when you return the items. Gets busier at the weekend but still plenty of space and the locals are friendly, will definitely come back.

Very fine sand, brought from the Sahara desert. The beach is diked on 3 sides, ensuring calm water, ideal for swimming. Very nice. I recommend.

Brilliant little Sandy Beach for the family. The water is warm and sheltered from the harsh Mediterranean due to having groynes and a submerged breakwater. There is little to no current and is safe to swim in. My little children loved playing in the sea. There is a manned life guard station during bathing season and facilities to hire paddle boards.

Man made beach on the quiet side of Gibraltar. The beach is nice but the day we went, there was a lot of seaweed just as you enter the water which was off putting. Not sure if that’s a permanent feature or not but as the beach does get busy during high season, I guess it doesn’t put people off!

Really pretty, recommended coming here early for an incredible view of the sunrise. Sand is so soft as well, but if it’s windy it flies everywhere

This is by far my favourite beach in Gibraltar. From its white sands that was actually brought over from Morocco to the spacious large beach. It's very clean and well maintained and tends to be a quieter beach than others in Gibraltar. The biggest problem with this beach is parking and access to the beach. It's not exactly ideal for anyone with mobility problems as one end is narrow, steep small step, and the other access is via another steep hill that can be slippery when there is sand on it. Parking is limited in the area therefore its favoured by young people with their motorbikes.

Extremely clean waters, friendly ppl who teach you to paddle board for 10 quid, amazing views of the rock and sand brought in from the Sahara... You really can't find a better beach

Walked around the rock and found this lovely place. It was late January, but so warm and actually ok for a sunbathe. Some of the bars and restaurants shut down for winter, in the UK it would have been a perfect summer day.

Lovely beach, calm and clean for the families. Attached a photo to share the sand quality, no edits.

We can easily watch the beach from the tourist site above. I've been there right after and was definitely not disappointed. Easy to park the car behind the tiny tourist houses (free). Caution, the sand was very hot.

A beautiful beach, wonderful location where lots of locals enjoy the sunshine. Plenty of food and drink places, swimming and paddle boarding. A quick bus or taxi ride away or a 40 minute walk from the north town

Lovely small beach, lots of locals. Bus drops you at the top of the walkway. There are a few shops, a cafe/bar and hire centre on the beach but, in our experience, the service was not great. Food was really nice and decent size portions though (when we eventually got served).

Clean, beautiful, free to enter, but everything else here is ridiculously overpriced. Come with your own umbrella, towel, blankets, drinks etc, or be ready to fork over Β£40+/person for these. Even a shower cost Β£1

Sand is nice. Sea view is nice. But immediate area around beach and approach is disgraceful. The Both Worlds undercroft is full of weeds and rubbish so residents clearly don't care. The ramp leading to beach is full of weeds, rubble and rubbish. The cafès on the beach are primitive and poor service. The only thing missing is the burnt out car and dumped fridge.

Excellent sandy beach. Kept cleaner than some others in Gibraltar and is sheltered enough for young children to play near the water. Take bus number 4 or 8 to the last stop (Both Worlds) to go here. There are no food and drink places I could see and there are a few steps (or steep slope) to go down to the beach. They have a place renting out kayaks and boards
