A really lovely escape from the generic Englandness that is Gibraltar. The botanic gardens are peaceful and undulating. Nice to walk around and see the different plants. Great views and things to discover.

Really really beautiful spot for lunch 🥗 a well kept area with lots to keep your interest going , from stunning trees and plants to beautiful animals and great views 100% recommended and the experience will cost you nothing . xxx Also there’s great views of the Windsor bridge and the rest of Gibraltar’s rock.

Another great place to catch some fresh air in the busy Gibraltar. Plenty of green here, amazing way to get some shade during a sunny day. For a tourist is a must if you have more than a day in Gibraltar. There is also a playground for kids. There is also Alameda wildlife conservatory park where you can see lemurs.

Very peaceful and enjoyable gardens with a wide range of plants and flowers. It’s free to get in and it was very quiet which makes it a wonderful place to enjoy some peace and quiet. It is on a hill so it’s challenging to walk around especially in the heat.

Absolutely gorgeous gardens! I spent a few hours walking around, taking my time, in the sunny morning, and enjoyed having the place to myself (mostly). Plenty of varied plants, trees and flowers from Spanish and African origin. Some smaller wildlife scattered around too! There's even a small zoo hidden within the gardens and that was a highlight of my adventure within Gibraltar. These gardens are so good. Just a generally quiet and relaxing atmosphere that is much appreciated to get away from the busier attractions. A highlight of Gibraltar for me

Amazing place to visit. Lovely gardens with waterfalls and different types of trees and flowers. No need for booking or tickets if visiting. I have been there twice and definitely recommend spending a couple of hours walking around there. You get a good view of the Rock and the cable cars from there. There are few public toilets there.

Beautiful gardens & so peaceful. I used to walk around these gardens & sit in the sun whilst I lived in Gibraltar. Lots of wildlife too!

Lovely park to the south of Westside and Main Street. We took some time to expire it and walked through daily as we were staying at the hotel next to it. There are a number of differently themed areas, always well maintained. We saw park workers there every day attending to the grounds. There's plenty of shade so you can visit even during the heat of the day. It closes shortly after sunset and the reason for this is clear, it's an amazing place to watch the sunset from!

Nice garden with mainly cacti and a nice pogoda. Nice and relaxing away from the hustle and bustle. A lot of cicadas though (at least that's what they sounded like)

I've seen a lot of Botanical Gardens in Europe, but that one in Gibraltar is quite unique. ☺️ All those tones of green color and sound of birds really can give you peace.

Nice garden with little waterfalls, turtles, roosters and chickens going here and there. Worth visiting. Also its completely free.

A relaxing place to get away from it all with lovely sights and smells with a great view of the cable car. Plenty of shaded spots to keep call and all for free.

Really nice gardens, not a huge park but well cared for and maintained.A few historic statues and headstones dating from 1790s, an open air theatre and a wedding taking place when I visited. Some great looking cactus, palms and aloe vera among others, free to enter and worth a visit if you are in Gibraltar. The gardens also contain Alameda wildlife park(£8 entry)which to be honest is underwhelming as it has a couple of snakes, some monkeys, parrots, bats and some tortoises all caged in smallish pens and looking miserable, not what I expected of a conservation park!Personally I would give the wildlife park 3 out of 10 but gardens 8 out of 10. A bus from frontier ( border) with Spain takes you quite near, get bus 10 to the cable car (which takes you to top of the rock) and walk a hundred yards.

Paths are at different levels. Need to be extra careful when visiting the animals with your footing. Stopped at the Rock Hotel for tea.

Beautiful Space to calm down. Very nice plants. Some garden areas were closed when we arrived but one could see them trough fences anyway. Special highlight is the wildlife area, where some little monkeys are kept that nearly are extinct due to the deforestation of rainforest. Very lovely workers there, who really love the animals and work with them. Monkeys also seem to be very relaxed, unlike other zoos where I have been before. The Wildlife area costs about 10 pounds but theyre definitely worth it.

Nice little gardens in Gib, not a must see if you are just a day tripper with limited time but if you have the time, well worth a visit away from the hustle & bustle of the streets.

Very beautiful gardens. I was just surprised that we were the only ones there. You can come with children there is a playground there and they will be entertained. A nice place to come after visiting the rock.

A beautiful, quiet place to spend a few hours.

The gardens seem relatively small from the entrance but are expansive once you're actually inside. There are even clean public restrooms and a small zoo inside, which we weren't expecting to find at all. It's a very hilly garden, though, so wear good walking shoes.

Nice garden, the roads are steep. You will see mediterranean plants mixed with British symbols like the red telebooth, and some great sea views as well.
