Decided to walk and visit the main points in Gibraltar this one is one of them, has lots of history.....the memorial is small but beautiful. The views are stunning from this point. You can see Africa.... is free entrance...if you arrive driving the parking is just there after 6pm is free. You can take with you some good, seat in the bench and enjoy the scenery

I'm sure it is a great War story, but unless you're really interested, the memorial is nothing special. It's just a special spot on a special point in a special Park in Gibraltar. Unless you care about who Sikorsky was or what happened or how he ended up in Gibraltar, the wreath and the propeller will not mean anything to you. Nonetheless visiting Europa point in the Park is still a worthwhile passage of time because it is the southernmost point in Gibraltar. But I wouldn't go there just for this Memorial. May he rest in peace.

Was a very beautiful place and very fitting to mark the place where so many soldiers lost there lives fighting for something they believed in was very sombre and picturesque
