Was always on the bucket list. Was it worth the visit? It was more than OK but that's it. A novelty UK experience on the Med. Prices as dear as central London despite the tax free situation. Food in The Clipper was goodπŸ‘ Got taxi guide up the rock. Very expensive at Β£35 per person with no family deal. Taxi driver made an attempt to give the appearance of being helpful but the facade was obvious. He dumped us out on route down so we could see the WW2 tunnels. Said his waiting for us, from this point, was outside his sales pitch. Not mentioned pre trip!! Gave us vague directions back to the town. He had no map to offer. Got lost. I'd love to have got his name. Necessary trip though up the Rock to see St Martins Cave, skywalk, tunnels, views and the highlight-the monkeys!! Can be done with more effort through cable car and walking. We chose the taxi due to time constraints. Been there, done that. No need to go again.

I was impressed with the amazing views seen from the van tour around the base of and then around the rock. The monkeys were a highlight of my entire Spain trip. There are many terrific shops for tourists. Only bad part is the crazy traffic.

This is the top high point of Gibraltar, here you can see something unique in the world, Europe and Africa in a clear day, also you can see Spain, Gibraltar and Marrocos. Go and pay this place a visit, you wont regret it!

What a thing to climb. There are many pathways and roads up the Rock. I took the Mediterranean steps. Took me 2 hours but was well worth it and you are rewarded with a view over to Africa that will take your breath away. From St Michael's cave, to the Great Siege Tunnels, to the Windsor Suspension bridge and the various batterys that are scattered across the Rock there is a lot to see. Choose a day when the cloud hasn't formed over the top to get the best views. If you do not fancy walking up the rock take the cable car from the town centre straight to the top. The apes are everywhere up the rock and while they look cute and cuddly DO NOT TOUCH or feed them. I can't wait to go again

Super cool and unique attraction. Unless you are in tremendous shape, I would highly suggest hiring a taxi to take you up the mountain/Rock. There is a museum within the rock, providing several replicas of famous British military men, along with informative exhibits detailing their history in Gibraltar, from the pre-American Revolution period, until the present. Naturally, everyone comes for the monkeys. They are a novelty....the babies are adorable and the adults can be fearsome.

For more excitement - I would recommend path through Engineer Rd -> Queen's Rd -> turn left to Windsor Bridge -> continue through Old Queen's Rd until stairs -> go upstairs. For return, I recommend choosing "Mediterranean Steps" which starts near O'Hara's Battery. Be really careful when opening your backpack - the damn monkeys don't sleep... They stole my friend's sweeties and once jumped on tourist's bracelet - which have looked like connected nuts...

Very cool spot, pedestrians crossing the runway of the international airport. British food and feeling everywhere...not so expensive as expected.

This was an amazing day on the Rock. We went to the city square and got a small group tour(8 people) in a van that was a registered tour of the whole experience and it included the Saint Michael’s caves, the skyline and the tunnels. The price was all inclusive 40 pounds each. Great deal with all entry fees included. Hardly any walking, highly recommended.

World heritage now. Fabulous scenery around the rock. Tunnels through it and all kinds of secret passages. The pillars of hercules. This is where the ancient mariners though you would fall off the world. Strategic protection point on the straits of Gibraltar.

Awesome visit to UK, Gibraltar. The Rock of Gibraltar is abrupt and stands out with amazing presence. The views from the rock to Spain and Africa, wild monkeys everywhere, and great dining and shopping in Irish Town made the trip amazing.

Very nice view on top but the price is ridiculous. 18€ just to go up the rock without seeing any of the caves or monuments. Also, i feel like all these tourist stuff are disturbing the monkeys. Shame.

Was closed as of mid January for repairs of a nearby site. Would recommend checking the website or with ticket booth employess in the nature reserve to see if it's open as it's a bit of a hike away and uphill from other sites.

Wonderful view, the place is very high and almost we can see the entire city of Gibraltar from there, the place is quiet and the staff are nice, the presence of monkeys is fun but you must be careful because they are always trying to steal your things

Nothing life changing, but a fun little adventure. Cable car may be down due to wind so keep that in mind. Have a new bald spot thanks to a monkey. The mini bus tour was actually very informative!

Great time. But ripped off by the government of Gibraltar. They are charging Β£5 to walk the rock. Sat for an hour they LOST Β£200 in greed money. As a British citizen I strongly object to being charged Β£5 to walk on BRITISH SOIL.
