After
our
relatively
quick
excursion
in
Seattle,
we
decided
to
drive
home
instead
of
hopping
on
a
ferry
boat
again.
One
of
the
towns
on
the
way
is
called
Gig
Harbor.
It
is
an
adorable
little
town
known
for
its
beautiful
waterfront
and
its
maritime
museum;
a
lot
of
history
lies
within
Gig
Harbor.
Although
we
did
not
make
it
down
to
the
waterfront
on
this
drive,
we
located
a
little
restaurant
off
WA-16;
(this
area
is
considered
uptown
Gig
Harbor),
Someplace
to
eat
other
than
McDonald's
or
Taco
Time.
Sunset
Grill
is
a
casual,
family-friendly
restaurant
that
serves
breakfast
all
day
long;
it
also
comes
with
a
fully
loaded
lounge
and
bar.
Their
menu
offers
50+
items,
from
individual
sampler
items
to
specialty
dinners
and
a
little
bit
of
everything
in
between,
burgers,
breakfast,
soups
and
salads,
and
so
much
more!
Today
I
had
the
Veggie
Burger;
it
was
a
tough
choice
because
the
club
sandwich
and
taco
salad
was
also
calling
my
name;
Veggie
Burger
won.
My
side
was
a
dish
of
fresh
fruit;
although
those
onion
rings
were
so
tempting,
I
behaved
myself
and
stoled
one
of
my
hubby's
=D
The
burger
was
flavorful
and
tasted
a
little
different
than
what
I've
had
at
other
restaurants;
I
did
find
out
it
was
a
new
veggie
burger
on
the
market
that
they
were
trying
out;
well,
it
was
great!
My
burger
had
lettuce,
onion,
and
tomato.
My
side
of
fruit
was
fresh
and
full
of
flavor.
Overall
I
was
happy
with
my
meal.
My
hubby
had
the
Monte
Cristo,
which
is
something
he
has
failed
to
find
around
our
general
area.
He
chose
onion
rings
with
his
sandwich.
His
Monte
Cristo
wasn't
a
typical
deep-fried
sandwich
that
he
had
always
gotten
in
the
past;
it
was
two
pieces
of
french
toast
with
ham,
turkey,
swiss,
and
cheddar
cheese.
So
he
rated
it
as
a
good
but
not
great
sandwich,
and
his
onion
rings
were
tasty
and
actually
had
onion
in
them,
store-bought
or
hand-made;
I
don't
know,
I
know
they
were
good
=D
*So
the
highlight
of
this
lunch
was
our
server
Virginia;
shout
out
to
Virginia.
She
was
genuinely
warm,
had
a
great
personality,
and
was
funny.
It
was
a
pleasure
chatting
with
her!
She
checked
on
us;
we
felt
the
proper
amount
of
times,
not
too
few,
not
too
many,
overall
what
I
would
consider
an
exceptional
server!*
Sunset
Grill
was
a
little
dated,
but
what
I
saw
looked
clean.
No
odd
smells,
sticky
tables,
sticky
menus,
or
dirty
floors;
the
restroom
was
the
same,
a
little
on
the
dated
side,
but
when
I
saw
it,
it
appeared
clean!
So,
visit
Sunset
Grill
if
you
find
yourself
in
Gig
Harbor
and
want
a
great
casual
meal.
Sunset
Grill's
location
is
in
Harbor
Plaza,
4926
Point
Fosdick
Dr,
Gig
Harbor,
WA.
Getting
to
the
restaurant
is
a
bit
confusing.
It
sits
in
a
complex
among
many
other
businesses;
I
can't
even
go
into
detail
about
all
the
little
companies
around
that
area.
Rest
assured,
there
was
plenty
of
parking
around!
"Thank
you
for
supporting
all
of
our
(small)
local
businesses,
and
thank
you
for
supporting
our
local
jobs!
Please
remember,
Be
kind
to
ALL
living
things!!!!"
