Would not recommend. The sites are way too close together. There is no privacy and sound carries terribly. Quiet hours were not respected. We didn’t get to sleep till 1 am thanks to the party group, and then got woken up at 6 am by all the kiddos. If you’re a large group (with children), then this may be a great option. Otherwise, I recommend skipping.

Terrible experience, if you have a large group DO NOT COME HERE. Fist off we were greeted by the site host minutes after arrival with a 20 minute long, rule list. Quiet hours begin at 10:00PM which we interpreted as campfires being put out, music off, and quite. Well apparently “quite hours” means go to SLEEP because around 10:30 the camp host walked into our area and told us to “rap it up and go to sleep” mind you the fire was out, music was off, we had one lantern in the middle of our site with our chairs surrounding talking amongst ourselves. The host walked in the site unannounced and told us all to “go to sleep” and if she had to come back to our site then we will be escorted off site by the sheriff. We camped with a group of 20, prior to booking the site we read through to website to ensure it would fit our needs. NO WHERE on site does it state 3 tents per site (we booked 2 sites) we had our main site where we spent most our time and the second site for a tent. Mind you the second site was on a steeper hill that was only capable of holding maybe 2 tents even though it was posted to hold a party of 10. The host came by and made us separate our tents and split up. SO CLEARLY THEY MAKE UP RULES as they go because again, no where on the website does it state this. There was ALSO an issue with parking, we paid extra for an addition vehicle per site and the host aggressively walked in our site and demand payment for the additional vehicles even though it was paid online during booking. All around TERRIBLE experience, clearly it’s an authoritarian ran site with intense rules, it was unenjoyable because at any given moment the host could pop up with a new rule/ regulation. And to top it off the restrooms were DISGUSTING.

Ranada and Bill, campground A hosts, were amazing and treated us like family. We were able to stay in the campground and arrange truck repairs due to an emergency breakdown. The area/roads were well maintained. The buildings and campsites were clean. The camp hosts checked on us frequently, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience.

We loved Christopher creek campground, my girlfriend & I went on a girls camping trip, the campsite was clean, bathrooms were clean, bear box @ every site, fire pit, picnic table & grill grate! Beautiful scenery in the woods of Payson & the creek is beautiful! 10 minutes to the mogollon Rim for sunset, many families camping , we felt safe & had a great time! Would recommend Christopher creek campground 5 ⭐️ we will be back to camp

Beautiful place, we were staying there on weekdays to avoid crowds. My spot was clean and next to the creek, restrooms were clear also. My only complaint is may be that you can hear the cars on the road, the campground is next to the road. There a couple of trails you can do.

We had an amazing experience here with our 2 dogs! Wonderful spots to choose from, the creek is so peaceful, and honestly I don’t really care to ever camp elsewhere! The hosts are amazing, even helped me jump my car! Already have my next trips booked! Can’t wait!

I have been camping here as a kid; when my kids were little we use to camp here, and now adults they camp here. The grounds are always clean, the camp host are always on hand. This is a great place to build life long memories.

Camp host A were nice and friendly. They do however need to stop driving their diesel truck around the small loop. So smelly. Also many people have said the sites are clean they are anything but that. Camp host keep old placard on site post. They seem to do only the very minimum. Lots of trash everywhere

👍 Stayed here for 2 weeks with our 2 dogs. We also brought our boat and rented a slip. First of all, the lake is gorgeous, almost always glass and very quiet during the week. The dock is quite a walk and very long. They offer golf cart shuttles to and from your location. We tipped the driver if we had...

👍👍 The campground that we stayed in was group E. It was very accommodating for our group of 11 people and 3 dogs. Plenty of parking spaces and tenting areas with their own table, bear locker for food box, and grill set up. There was also a main picnic area in the center. It's big enough for 5 cars and...
