๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Tasty food, which is especially exciting since the menu offers something other than the typical burgers and sandwiches available in the region. We enjoyed our cocktails and the pastry dessert as well. We drove an hour and back to get there. Great location for a celebration meal! People often mention great,

My wife and I made the trip up from Nashwauk MN and were not disappointed! We had the shrimp skewers for an appetizer, salmon and linguine for main course and a cheesecake desert. Everything was absolutely delicious and our server Duncan was very helpful and recommended some great drinks! Would highly recommend a trip to the Whistling Bird!

I had the Jerk Porkloins wrapped in bacon. This is my meal of choice when coming here. We had 2 drinks, 2 meals and 1 dessert, cost with tip was 100.00. Which for unique fun atmosphere it's fun to splurge every now and then.

Wonderful food, service staff was so inviting, funny and accommodating. The volcano bowl and the painkiller drinks are out of this world! Please remember to share the volcanoโ€ฆ itโ€™s huge. The coconut shrimp was amazing, the jerk chicken was so flavorful and moist. The lobster pasta made mine and my husbands mouth water! Our bartender/ waitress ( found out later and manager!) was on top of her game! Checking every table to see how everyoneโ€™s experience was! Keeper! Our second visit after an iffy first try a couple of months ago. Redeemed. Great job owners I think you found a winning staff! Letโ€™s keep it open now. So we can keep coming!

We visited on Sunday and we were seated at a table in the bar area. Three of us ordered the Jerk chicken and one of us ordered the pork. It was really delicious and filling. The plantains that came with the meal were yummy. We shared the cauliflower appetizer and it was a good portion to share but it was so good I would order my own next time. Lots to choose from the menu. Definitely will go to Gilbert again. Nice restaurant for such a little town. Our waitress was great but I can't recall her name. She worked in the bar area. Very nice and friendly.

The Jerk Chicken here was some of the best cooked chicken I've had; not just on the Range but anywhere! Skin was crispy and the meat itself was just the right moisture level with great flavor. Affordable and the Service was also great! Waitress earned my gratitude when she helped stop my son from dipping his fingers in the ghost pepper hot sauce. If you're on 53 on your way to wherever, it's a welcome change of pace from the usual food options and just a few miles off the highway.

We haven't been in several years, and it was just as great as I remembered! Such a fun cute place with friendly service. I definitely recommend making a reservation. The portions of everything we ordered were quite large, which is great for sharing. I definitely recommend the nachos. The brussel sprouts were great as well. Our entrees were delicious and had me wanting to go back the next day! You can not go wrong with any dish. Our server mentioned that Monday and Tuesdays were seafood days for items such as mussels, so I'd call ahead to find out if that's what you're going for. Enjoy!

Have been to The Whistling Bird a couple times now and was not disappointed. Our server was very helpful and fun. The complete staff worked as a team to make sure we were well taken care of. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Food was amazing! Our waitress was top notch. The bacon wrapped Salmon was out of this world. We did get the calamari, I would say it was chewy and not fresh. But everything else we experience made up for that! Definitely recommend ๐Ÿ‘Œ

My husband and I went here for the first time on our anniversary. Even on a night when they were short staffed, the service and food was phenomenal! The fruity drinks and atmosphere provide a slice of paradise, especially on those cold Minnesota nights! We have really enjoyed the gaucho style steak and shrimp and lobster linguine. The bacon wrapped shrimp and bacon wrapped salmon bites are a must!! I highly recommend the Whistling Bird for any special occasion, or to just get out and grab a bite to eat. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely be coming back!
