Very good American dinner, the service (Tiffany) was excellent. We had breakfast and dinner. The bacon cheeseburger salad was great but the pancakes and French toast fantastic!

Our experience here was great. Staff seated us at the counter and got our drink orders right away. Mia followed up to offer some of the favs and her recommendations. I chose the turkey dinner sandwich. It was amazing. My HOT AF GF ordered the pot roast. Her only regret was not ordering the larger dinner portion. But it was the perfect amount of food. We finished our plates. Our mommas would be proud of us.

The chicken fried steak is my go-to meal here. The biscuits are huge, fluffy, and filling. All 3 hot sauces have a good flavor. and the country cabin decor is cozy and welcoming.

Everything was soooo good. I could honestly eat like 12 of those sausage links! Even the coffee was delicious. The atmosphere felt some homey and inviting. Made me feel like I was back home on the East Coast. My server Xavier (hope I’m not butchering his name) was on point the entire time!! Will definitely be back for Sunday breakfast again! 🍳

Diner is clean and has lots of parking. The service is super friendly and very quick. Food also cane out quickly. I love it here for breakfast! The location I went to also had a counter if dining alone, thats always nice to see if you are in a rush! I overall recommend Black Bear for some great food

Sick in bed on your birthday?? No need to worry... Black Bear diner is here!! Everything was packaged and cooked to perfection! Pancakes and biscuits were so fluffy. Great portion sizes. Thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast in bed!

This place is outstanding. Everything about it is outstanding. Now I want to say this I fell in love with the waitress Exxiane but I was too shy to let her know. Her attitude at work is amazing. You don't have to take my word for it. You can go there and find out for yourself. I regret not letting her know I fell in love with her. This is one of the best restaurants of all time.

Black Bear diner was a delicious home made feel fresh diner. My kids and I were thoroughly impressed with the food choices. It took us quite some time to decide given the vast menu and choices. We loved every meal and the little shop on the way out. Our server was also so very sweet and was 10 steps ahead of us. Highly recommend. Please note: on weekends there is generally a long wait.

Breakfast all day! Fresh squeezed OJ! Fluffy sweet cream delicious pancakes! Fast exceptional service. Just WOW, as busy as they were the service and food were great!. Can't wait to go back!

I like chicken fried steak.. pretty good. About average.. grits r ok. I had a taste of the hash brown black bear style good. Black bear Waffle just like a pancake. My favorite they had…. Banana cream pie.. excellente .. nice atmosphere .. waitress very nice and accommodating.. biscuits are wonderfully delicious.

There is nothing better in the summer than having breakfast for dinner. And Black Bear Diner gives us this opportunity any time, all the time. Last night's breakfast was the Blackberry filled Bar Claw, and wow! It was my first time trying this, and it was incredible! The hostess was spot on and very cordial. I'm so glad we went out last night. Thanks for the coming, and yummy, meal!

Food was great. French toast was good but I prefer texas toast over regular thin sandwich bread. Fast and friendly service.

We went at about 11am on a Sunday morning. The lobby was packed, but we only had to wait about 10-15 minutes. Our server was quick and helpful! The food was good diner food... biscuits crumbled and the gravey was kind of plain, but I loved the potatoes & bacon. Overall it was a great Sunday morning breakfast!

Had a wonderful experience with top notch service and yummy comfort food. Was with a group of 12 people and the service was great. I had a veggie burger & sweet potato fries with some chocolate cake to go. Portions are big and price is Fair , won't break the bank. Tamara was excellent with customer service and a great vibe! Will be back next month for our meet up

I hate to share my experience. It was horrible. There was a 25-minute wait. Which was ok. But they never called and when we went inside to see what was going on, they said they called 11 mins ago, which was a lie. We got seated. Took forever to get coffee and hot tea. Placed our order, which ended up taking a total of 1 hour of waiting! Everyone around us got served and left. Finally we got our order and food was cold. Not happy. Our waitress was not up to par. We ended up speaking to the manager and got a good discount, with 10$ bear bucks. Please let the manager know asap, they will correct it!!

This place was great! Had not yet been to a black bear diner in years. Between the 6 of us we spent under $60 which is pretty good for us. Portions were good. Price was good. Service was excellent!

A group of approximately 20 women gathered on Thursday afternoon to celebrate one of their birthdays. Our waitress was the absolute BEST! Very attentive without being hovering brought absolutely everything we asked for, and was extremely pleasant and friendly. The food was more than plentiful most of it was taken home. She was happy to keep our cake in the back refrigerated until we were ready to serve. She supplied extra plates and forks for the cake and we supplied her with a piece of cake. I honestly can't say enough good things about our waitress, and about the delicious food. This is a must try place!

Great place breakfast. I had the Grizz and it is a hefty amount of food for breakfast. I love their tato hash since they don't season it with salt. I like to add salt to my liking. Pancakes are extremely good. My son had to use a fork for his burger. He loved it. We got a coconut cream pie on our way out, that was also 😋. My wife had the smaller size of the Grizz, it was enough for her.

It was alright on this trip, generally I really like this place but the food and service were just not as great as usual. It was father's day weekend so they were super busy but still not an excuse. Overall I definitely recommend this place based on the number of times I have been there in the past.

This is a really great place. Fun atmosphere, great food and lots of it. The biscuits are literally about 2 and a half inches in height and quite tasty. My husband ate their signature dish shaped like a bear claw: stuffed French toast. It's massive and, he said, delicious! Have been to Black Bear Diner several times already in the short few months since we moved from the Midwest. We love it! Edit: on December 27, 2022, my husband and I ate here for dinner. I ordered tri tips and my husband ordered steak. Now, to be fair, the menu claims that the tri tips are "peppery" and I can usually handle somewhat spicy food. This was way over the top spicy. It was cooked to order, but too spicy for me. I turned the tri tips into delicious soup. Next, I ordered green beans as one of my sides. I was told they would be crunchy. They came out mushy. I didn't eat them. However, the baked potato and the salad I also got with the meal were delicious, as was the corn bread muffin. The balsamic dressing was outstanding. My husband's steak came cooked to order and he didn't complain. He said the sweet potato fries were very good. However, based on my experience with the dinner, I will be sticking to breakfast for dinner!
