Came for dinner. Non/expensive. Good nutrition balance. Good taste. Ramen is less thick than I expected. Everything else are great.

I'm glad I listened to the reviews on this place. 5 star across the board. Everything my husband and I ate here was absolutely delicious! I would have to agree with the reviews that say best sushi spot in East valley. We have been trying to find a spot near us that we love, and I think we found it. Thank you!

Good sushi. Be easy to order. Only get one shot at ordering. They are quick service to push customers in and out of the tiny place. They have sushi rolls that sound tasty but are lost in flavor that get diluted from sauces and stuff on them. The gyoza is worth getting. Be ready for a wait if you come later

Went to Temari for a casual date night and ended up having an amazing dining experience. It was probably some of the best sushi I have had. The PRIMO was such a unique roll with so much packed in flavor. I was tempted to order another! The TOOTSIE roll was also delicious for those who love unagi (eel) like me! Same with the Las Vegas Roll. The price was great as well. We will definitely be coming back again...and again... and maybe even again if we have time.

One of the worst sushi experiences I've ever had. Everything is very one note, which is wasabi cream sauce. The fish is not quality as some might say, and the rolls are doused with too much sauce carelessly. We couldn't taste anything else aside from that sauce. The udon tasted like it was prepackaged and has chemically smell to it. The decor is nice though, but I'm still disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic sushi. There’s only like 8-10 tables in the whole place but they could fill 20-30 easily. We tried the Primo and the cowgirl and another that I can’t remember the name of but they were all fantastic. Totally unique flavors and a great calm atmosphere where you can talk and enjoy a good time. Will absolutely be returning. I’m told if you come at dinner time at 5 you pretty much have to be there at or before 5 to even get a spot and I see why.

The sushi was decent although a bit too saucy for me. What really killed me was the wait. The restaurant is small, so they don’t have that many tables/seats. I made the poor choice of showing up starving, thinking my friends had already set up reservations. They did not. I believe the restaurant is only open for around 4 hours, which is odd in my opinion.

Great sushi. Selection is great, flavor and texture combinations are awesome. White dragon and Hawaii 5-0 were the best of the 7 rolls we had. All were good or very good. I'll be going back again and again.

I’ve been here twice and this is by far the best suishi I’ve had anywhere. The attention to perfection is obviously a top priority and paying $15 a roll is worth it. They have like 100 suishi choices and is worth coming back often. I personally loved Amazing Grace, Primo, and anything saucy.

Delicious sushi, a bit expensive. A great range of rolls! Their menu is the best I've seen, with descriptions of much of the rolls. It was busy and it was a great new try.

Went to Temari for dinner and was able to find seating right away. It is a smaller place, so the closer to opening time, the easier it is to find a seat without a wait The food was phenomenal. My favorite roll this night was the Primo Roll. It had great complex flavors and a little bit of crunch added.

Very busy place. Sushi menu is vast with lots of options and variations. My only complaint is everything came out way over sauced. The sauce was good...it's just all you could taste.

Good meal overall. A couple of the sushi rolls were not as flavorful as expected but overall not bad. I thought the service was excellent up until they wrote their own tip down on the check. It is not the wait staffs place to write down what they think their service was worth. My family and I will not be going back strictly because of that aspect. I do not agree with this new mentality of the food service industry getting to decide their own tips. It makes me want to cross out what they put and write $0 in its place. Also prices needed to be advertised on the menus. Was a surprised at the cost, at almost $20 a roll for even basic rolls like the Philly and California rolls, it was definitely not worth the price difference from other places I've been in the PHX metro area.

I absolutely adored this place! The rolls, sushi and sashimi was so good! I was lucky enough to be sat infront of the chefs. It was very busy when i went so the food came out a little slow which was perfect for us to enjoy and savor what we had Infront of us.

Amazing food, super fresh sushi delightful and delicious. Fast too. uses “market” pricing for most of the sushi, alittle shocked at the bill. Would be nice if rolls were priced.

Little unassuming family-owned and operated restaurant, seriously the best sushi in the valley. Always excellent service. Wonderful staff and chefs. Impeccably clean. They open at 5 and it gets packed very quickly, even on weeknights. This is our go-to special occasion restaurant for birthdays, anniversaries, Valentines. And our favorite regular occasion spot too.

This place is a hidden gem. We made the mistake of going with a big group so it took a while to get a table but we couldn’t even be mad after we tried the sushi rolls. Get the primo!

This is the best sushi I've had so far in Arizona. They don't have a lot of tables it's a small place but that's what makes it special. It's just the little details. I had a few rolls that had cream cheese and the fact that the cream cheese was warm made a huge difference in that roll. I really enjoyed this place. You guys can follow me on Instagram as "jackiefrompr" for more suggestions around the valley.

I finally found the best sushi restaurant in Phoenix. Their squid salad had the best flavor, not too salty, but flavorful and chilled. Their rolls are creative and delicious and I've just never been so impressed before. Thank you!

One of our favorite sushi places for sure! Always a wait but always worth it. We keep trying new rolls and can't find one we dislike. Everything is great including the small restaurant vibe.

This place looks small and insignificant but wow, it tops the charts for Sushi and pretty much all Japanese dishes. To be honest it kinda looks like just another sushi joint but the fish is fresh, the food is amazing and for all the local lovers of sushi, this place tops the best sushi restaurants list. So don’t be fooled by their small location, they have a big taste and often a wait to get a table, it’s worth the wait!

BEST sushi in AZ. Quality fish and fresh ingredients. Pretty in Pink Roll is perfect you must try! Staff is always friendly, long wait times due to limited seating but so worth it! 70+ rolls to choose from!!

There's a reason this place has a line 10 parties deep before they open. Best sushi on the east side hands down. Only a handful of tables but worth it when you get in. Tons of roll, sushi options, full lunch and dinner menus.

It's all about the rolls here. An imaginative sushi chef with a menu the size of a Tolstoy novel are all you need in this six-table establishment. I've been coming here when I'm in town for seventeen years, and it's always a highlight of our time in Phoenix. A traditionalist may scoff at the menu as Japanese food is often merely high-quality ingredients treated well and simply, but Saki puts the "chef" in sushi chef, giving a variety of flavors and sauces in combinations that are wonderful and occasionally downright adventurous. See the "Temari Ball" which is spicy tuna sculpted into a perfect sphere of avocado with a sweet sauce spiraled within a wasabi sauce and sprinkled with candied fish flakes. This is not you usual strip mall fare.
