We called about 6 weeks ago to get my husband set up with an appointment that was supposed to be this week. We got a call that Dr Larsen was sick and would have to reschedule. Life happens and we get that! However, the soonest that we were able to be rescheduled is in about 4.5 weeks and were told we could keep calling if someone were to cancel. So in total we will have waited close to 3 months to see this physician with little apology or remorse from the office staff for their reschedule. Again, I get that people get sick but the way it was handled afterwards is poor and doesn’t scream patient care. Infertility is already hard to deal with and I didn’t plan on a lack of concern from the professionals who are supposed to be helping us. I rarely see physicians cancel but when I have they typically do everything they can to squeeze in the ones they cancelled on. Has left a very poor taste in our mouth and this was met with “he’s a very good doctor and so he gets busy” rather than empathy. This seems to be the wrong field for the receptionist communicating these messages. Extremely poor!

I have had no help from Arizona urology until medtronic came to visit me at my appointment. Nothing but irresponsible neglect from this place since ive returned for check up on my implant. No one could tell me who changed my implant programs . No one told me they were going to change it, No phone call about it. They Canceled my appointment the second time and didn't tell me about that either until I showed up. Office staff does not share your reason for visit and you waste time and money for appointments that they can't help you until you make another one with the necessary people to be there ,in my case medtronic. So it is pointless to tell them why your being seen. The only good thing is the surgeon that implanted my stimulator. The Rest of the staff, useless.

I was seen at Arizona Urology (Gilbert office) on three separate dates for treatment of an enlarged prostate. Dr. Larsen was friendly and very professional. However, the vibe that I sensed from his staff was they were unhappy and didn't want to be there. On each occasion, the staff that I encountered were downright rude and unfriendly. When it came to scheduling my UroLift procedure, the scheduler was very unapologetic and said I had to go to Goodyear for my procedure...about 50 miles away! At that very moment, I decided to decline the procedure and pursue another provider nearby that would hopefully show more kindness and respect toward their patients.

There are many Urology medical offices to choose from so you shouldn't visit this place. I just had a bad experience yesterday and wanted to wait for 24 hours to cool down and decided that I should provide my comments to help others to review this place before they decide to go with them. The front office staff is cold and rude. We checked in and I forgot to bring my mask with the assumption that most medical offices we went to have mask as optional to their mask policy. The front office employee asked me pay for $2 per mask because I have to wear it. At first, I thought she was kidding so I asked if she was kidding so loud and clear even the gentleman patient waiting there smiled and laughed about it. She said no, and I had to pay for $2 for the mask. I should have walked out from that office at that point, but it didn't come to my mind to make that decision at that time. The funny thing is when we walked inside the office to see the doctors, some medical staffs sitting there without wearing the masks or didn't have the masks covered their mouth and nose. Anyway, it took too long to wait for the Doctor also. We checked in at 9:30 and left there after 12:00. I'm not sure how this place still operates while they have such bad customer service.

Unbelievable! The entire experience was so upsetting. First the entire staff from the front desk to the nurses in the back are rude and not friendly. My Doctor was Stephen Larsen. I’m in shock how unprofessional he was. During my vasectomy, I experienced sharp pain, more than just pressure or pulling but actual pain. Prior to my operation, I explained to him that I have a high tolerance to drugs and requested to have more local anesthetic to prevent exactly what happened… Once I felt the pain, I naturally jumped and said I felt it. Instead of being empathetic or acknowledging my discomfort, he asked in a very rude and insensitive way if he should stop all together (only one testicle had been done at this point) and that I was told I should except discomfort. I explained to him that this was more than discomfort but it was actual pain! The fact he got upset because I verbalized I felt pain is unacceptable. He then proceeded and the tension in the room was heavy. Of course I want to finish the operation…. What kind of Doctor does this?? I also figure his staff is the way they are because of his attitude. Bad bosses have bad employees.

Worst office to deal with! No one works together. Gave paperwork to the Dr to fill out and pass on to Patient once completed. Meantime sam3 paperwork has been getting faxed to them at the correct fax # and no one has any idea where it went. Meanwhile we can pay our bills because this paperwork is needed for assistance.

Around 5 appointments with an average waiting time of 1.5 hours. only to see Dr jain for 5min total in all visits, I do not think this office puts any time or effort into patients and their issues. some of the nurses were great but doesn't help overall. would've been nice to have a talk with the actual Dr. but I guess filling the schedule with as many patients as possible so you can pass it with 5 min consultations is good for business and not elderly scams at all.

ALL THE REVIEWS ON THE STAFF ARE RIGHT ON!!! Trying to establish my father as a new patient. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE girl answered the phone telling me I need a referral. I told her the I DO NOT need a referral. she put me on hold 3-4 times and then told me to calm down!! I told her not to tell me to calm down and that I have trying to tell her that I do not need a referral. She said I was "yelling at her" WT!!?? I was not yelling at her but she was trying to find a reason to hang up. Such a shady liar these people are. Told her she needed to calm down and she became irate! Incompetent staff!!!! SHE HUNG UP ON ME. COMPLETE GARBAGE STAFF.

The Dr was fine, he did a good job explaining the procedure. My issue is with the staff and the experience I've had. A vasectomy is a major life decision, finding the right office with courteous and professional people is important. My experience with this office has not been filled professionalism or courtesy. I have been hung up on 3x when calling the office. 1. Trying to schedule my first appointment I was told to please hold which I did for about 5 minutes then they hung up on me. For some reason I still went to this office after booking my consultation online. 2. Trying to follow up on the appointment with additional questions as soon as I moved to caller #1 my call was answered and disconnected without anyone saying a word 3. Trying to follow up on my estimated put of pocket cost see #2 I get it you're busy, but you work for the doctor who I assume would like to help as many patients as they can. Considering something as life changing as a vasectomy the patient experience should be considered. Unfortunately I do not plan on moving forward with this location.

I do not know how Dr Jain has so many good comments. I know that they don’t post negative comments on there website but am surprised I’m the first one star on google. I’m not going to get into detail but please find somewhere else to go if you care for yourself at all. I have been dealing with subpar doctors and specialists for over two years trying to find out what’s all wrong with me. During my appointment today it was discovered that my prostate is causing me some problems for me that have been bothering me for years now. But instead addressing this newly found issue the dr asked for me to come back in three months for another test that doesn’t have anything to do with my problem. Especially since I just took the same test a week ago. So now I found out another thing wrong with me that’s not getting treated. The procedure today left me in so much pain I can’t even use the bathroom. There is way too much detail to really drive the point across but this place should be under investigation and if they find anything like cancer in my prostate once I get to somewhere more reputable I will be suing the pants off this place for intentionally letting me die neglecting something that I find to be pretty serious.

The biggest problem I had was the lack of instruction on how to care for myself, from hospital staff after the surgery. I felt under prepared.

The care from Dr Larsen was outstanding. I felt like he was not only able to handle the kidney stone but I thought he was protective of my kidney. I appreciated this protective kind of thought and deliberation in this practice. Thank you!

Called to check if my insurance was accepted as most people do. She simply avoided it said they don’t take banner (which I don’t have) and then proceeded to give me their insurance number to call my own insurance to see if they accept it. Not that it’s the worst thing, but you’d expect an office to know whom they accept especially when it’s a big insurance provider.

Leading up to this decision, I hadnt been more afraid in my life. Dr Larsen and his staff made the process super comfortable and easy. By the time he was finished with the procedure I was in awe due to no discomfort and how quick it was. I previously had put this off for a couple of years because I was afraid of the possible pain and discomfort that I would have during and after the procedure. Thanks to Dr Larsen and his staff for the great job they did and I had no discomfort or pain during or since the procedure!!!

As a new patient I had a very positive experience. The front office staff is professional and attentive. Dr. Pandey studied my medical history and took the time to listen to my questions then explained options and procedures available to me. If I could give this office 10 stars I definitely would.

I am a new patient, I did not have any problems with the referral, very attentive when giving me the appointment, very kind in considering my time. The first day of the appointment everything went VERY WELL. SUPER FRIENDLY staff, Dr. Larsen is excellent, friendly, courteous and has the experience and wisdom of his profession. For the reason I gave ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you get a vasectomy, get put under! Don’t try to do it awake! Whatever the surgeon used to numb me didn’t work, and I went into shock and almost passed out from the pain. It was one of the worst experiences of my life!

Had kidney stones removed today was told to call the office if I was having issues I can’t even use the restroom without screaming in pain and he had the audacity to tell me to go the er and hung up on my face when looking online there are several medications for pain when urinating and spasms he could give me. Horrible I can’t believe it.

I have chronic kidney stones and have been seeing Dr Pandey for several years. He and his staff are always willing to assist me and answer any questions I have. Dr Pandey is very forthcoming and does not hold back telling you what you need to do to get better.

The doctors were awesome. They don't really know what is wrong with me. Dr. Larsen told me that I should have gone to the ER to have my problem checked out and have a CT. The one problem that I have with my appointment is that he gave me a referral for a CT at the farthest possible place from home. 105 miles in Good Year Arizona or 56 miles to Cover Valley Medical Center, where I had suggested.

All of the staff at Arizona Urology were very helpful and courteous. They all answered any questions that I may have. The Urologist that discussed my current scenario with kidney stones, was very knowledgeable and was able to help provide solutions on how to prevent any from recurring.
