THE
GOOD:
The
facility
is
about
3
hours
from
the
city
of
Bogotá,
Colombia.
The
roads
to
get
to
El
Peñón
are
in
great
shape.
There
are
plenty
double
lanes
to
accommodate
the
traffic.
The
hotel
is
not
far
away
from
the
main
road
and
easy
to
find,
you
can
use
a
map
or
a
GPS.
Upon
arrival
to
Lagomar,
El
Peñon,
there
is
a
gate
guard
where
you
have
to
provide
your
Reservation
information,
then
you
have
to
proceed
to
the
the
Reception
Center
to
register
and
there
they
will
issue
you
and
your
family
hand
bracelets
to
wear
during
your
stay
there.
They
will
also
assign
you
to
your
room.
The
is
transportation
provided
for
you
and
your
luggage
on
an
extended
golf
card.
You
can
also
requests
it
when
you
are
on
your
way
out.
THE
ROOMS:
are
big
and
well
distributed.
There
is
air
conditioning
in
all
rooms
that
works
well,
and
will
freeze
you
at
nights
if
you
want
it
too.
The
bathrooms
are
big
and
there
is
HOT
water.
There
are
safes
in
the
rooms
to
accommodate
your
valuables.
There
are
small
sofas,
chair
and
table
in
the
rooms.
There
are
no
blankets
provided
but
sheets
on
the
beds.
You
can
ask
for
extra
sheets
if
required.
There
is
a
small
refrigerator
in
the
room,
a
40”
tv,
and
a
phone.
THE
SWIMMING
POOLS:
The
are
5
swimming
pools
and
jacuzzis.
There
are
exercise
rooms,
bowling
alleys,
ping
pong
table,
bar
in
one
of
the
pools,
snacks
provided
free
of
charge,
etc,
etc.
You
can
find
all
of
the
amenities
provided
in
the
internet
and
visiting
the
Compensar
page.
There
are
three
square
meals
provided
FREE
of
charge.
The
restaurant
area
is
on
the
3rd
floor
building
A,
and
is
large
enough
to
accommodate
all
of
the
visiting
guests.
The
staff
is
well
trained
on
how
to
address
guests
and
is
very
respectful.
THE
BAD:
All
of
the
baby
chairs
are
piled
up
in
an
area
where
it
takes
carrying
the
to
your
table
if
you
are
a
lady
with
a
baby.
I
made
the
suggestion
to
have
them
spread
over
the
restaurant
area
to
facilitate
it
to
the
guests.
Blankets
should
be
keep
in
case
a
guest
requests
one
for
children.
The
cost
of
the
alcohol
drinks
is
exuberant,
so
ask
before
you
order
alcohol
drinks.
The
room
service
for
food
and
drinks
is
$10,000
Colombian
pesos.
The
restaurant
does
not
have
ice
cream
to
deliver
to
the
rooms
for
children
and
the
snacks
are
the
same
snacks
that
are
served
at
lunch
or
dinner.
No
popsicles
are
available
for
room
delivery
either.
They
should
improve
on
items
available
for
room
service,
such
as
gelatin
and
pastries,
and
cakes
for
children.
There
isn't
a
small
store
for
items
such
as
toothpaste,
kids'
pool
diapers,
and
others.
There
were
no
signs
posted
requiring
children
to
wear
pool
diapers.
The
menu
should
be
improved,
specifically
in
the
area
of
desserts
and
soups.
There
was
no
diet
coke
for
diabetic
patients
but
plenty
of
natural
juices
without
sugar.
