Look here this is not a five star restaurant but they punched above their weight with our visit. The (mixed) paella was a winner!!! I have had more than enough to eat when I left. Even though this is a touristy route you get a feeling that you are a local when you sit down. Don't expect fast food delivery. (go to the big M for that) Enjoy the moment and the surroundings. Listen to the church bells ring and experience the slow rush of yesterday's crisis that is not important today anymore...

This restaurant gives you an old time Spanish experience the food is not pretentious but it is flavourful and honest. The location is fabulous with a genuine feeling. The staff are pleasant and efficient though the owner who we nick named Mr Grumpy does need to chill out and let his very capable staff do their job. However it was a shame when a fire street performance arrived he chased her away as she was very good and only added to the experience

Location is lovely benathe the shade of several trees on a courtyard. The food was ok I had salad and coffee my son ordered the price-fixed menu. All was good until the owner came for the dessert order - my son asked to see the menu again for the choices and she just said creme brûlée? He said ok but it was so burned that it tasted like charcoal - when he asked for something else instead she became angry - implying that he didn't know what creme brûlée was. Finally I said it tasted like cigarette - a younger man came up and asked if we'd lik something else. Yes ice cream. She's still muttering in Catalan - but I understood enough. Should have been a 4 star review. Service holds too much importance to the entire experience.

This is a pretty basic place, obviously aimed at tourists looking for a bit of comfort food. If you're looking for local cuisine avoid this place, however, if you're craving chips head straight over! Set menu is 12 euros.

Well patronised, we thought it must be at least ok - and that’s how I’d describe it. Reasonable choices in the set menu, good value for three courses, presentation was very basic, not great meals but ok.

I ordered the Mediterranean salad, and my friend ordered a Catalan sausage with fries. My salad was okay except for the bitter and awful dressing that was drizzled over it. My friend had to ask the staff to reheat the fries as they were freezing cold. Overpriced and staff was not very friendly. Won't be coming again. Only redeeming feature is the location

This "restaurant" is utterly bad. The plates were dirty, the food... Well let's just say I'd rather chew on a dirty brick than eat this again. I came with a group of 14 people, all of which agreed. This is a prime example of why you should always check google reviews before sitting down to eat. Actual dogwank

A disgrace to the kind people of Girona, Catalonië and Spain. Female waiters are more interested in getting your money then delivering the order. Waited for half an hour to get final of our meal. They passed twice to ask if we were finished. After delivering final meal invoice came.... They really want to move you out!!!! Location great... Service and female proposers/waiters suck...

First off let me say: I do not recommend this restaurant, at all! We bought the menu they had (14€). For starters we got gazpacho and pasta. The gazpacho actually tasted okay but was served in cheap glass bowls and the spoons we not the same size. The pasta was very low quality and looked like the cheapest of its kind. For main menu we got "Meat Skewer" and "Lasagna Bolognese". The meat Skewer was a bit undercooked (but still edible) and was served with lousy pommes frites and ketchup & mayonnaise in bottle. The Lasagna tasted liked it was a premade Lasagna bought at the supermarket and all the plates still had water on them, from the dish washer. For desert we all got "ice cream" which was literally bought from a super market as it was served in a small container unopened. It looked like a cheap pudding. And the there were frozen parts in the ice still. And to top it all off, the waiter wasn't very polite.

We had the fixed menu: Mediterranean salad (decent) and melon w ham for appetizers (yummy); then pork loin (a bit dry but great sauce on it) and seafood paella (lots of seafood, a bit salty); ordered xtra potatoes w aillioli (good!). We had Catalyan creme (delicious) and Carmel creme (flan... basic). Wine (xtra order) and cappuccino. Service was excellent! For 36 euro... it was great!! Nice location too. Overall I would recommend 😊

😐 The food and location were wonderful. The price was really good. However the service is something to be desired, it took me a while to get my food and took me over 30 minutes to get my bill

😠 This was our second time here and the last time for sure. We tried the main dishes and they were terrible. It's the first time when you order a burger and it's coming without bread. The potatoes were very oily and cold...the burger raw...and the service was the worst, especially the girl /host from...
