The food and location were wonderful. The price was really good. However the service is something to be desired, it took me a while to get my food and took me over 30 minutes to get my bill

Great location in a lovely square called Independencia. There’s an endless number of options. They are quite well known for their Hamburgers, however they also have a great assortment of Tapas, we tried the Bravas and they were excellent. We ordered the Hamburger Girona Premium and it was outstanding, great meat quality and an awesome taste of the pepper sauce. Besides all of that the GREATEST HIGHLIGHT of our visit was the price, you will not only have million options and a mid-high quality meat but you will pay LITERALLY NOTHING! We paid 23 euros for a hamburger, two tapas, drinks and a salad! It was unbelievable we will definitely visit the one in Barcelona!

I only ordered tapas, simple but beautifully taste. Highly recommended.

Great view of the square and there was a food and craft festival happening at the time when we were there. Was here for breakfast only and looking forward to some greens and i mistaken I would have it in a Russian salad ha ! Delicious though

Really not good food. Burger paddy, patatas, and Bread … but you shall not expect more from a restaurant in a big placa. Beer choice is good.

Stopped by for dinner after hearing that this place is great despite being a chain restaurant and we were not disappointed! Their rendition of patatas bravas was great, and the beers on tap are decent. Service was fast and friendly, but unfortunately our seating experience was somewhat marred by smoking patrons. Front-of-house told us that everyone smokes here, and while I get that it might be a cultural difference but perhaps the seating could be split into smoking and non-smoking? :)

We ordered from a young lady who spoke good English. She was helpful and efficient. Food came out REALLY HOT which is a change in Europe. Mine was burger with chips and "American Salad" it's Coleslaw. My companion had Tapas which were very generous.

They take a long time to bring you food but the space is huge so lots of customers obviously so I feel for the waiting staff. I loved their chicken croquettes

Fries were cold, when we asked for new (warm) we got half baked fries. Furthermore, the food was not nice and even for the drinks we got dirty glasses. When we asked for clean glasses we got still got dirty ones.

There are better places in Girona. Don’t get the burger. Some of the tapas were nice but the service was very very bad. We waited about 1hr for the patatas bravas and then the burger to be recooked (it came raw). It never came and we just paid our bill and left.

Love the location and we come often and every time the staff make us feel that we are in the way. No smiles orders always wrong, miserable staff. Please do something to cheer your staff up its like going to a funeral. Such a shame as the setting is great and the food Is okay for kids. And lite bites ...

An average service, food below average, not tasty, really small portions and Martini is served without olives, even though you ask they won't put it. Don't go with high expectations, or just go somewhere else.

Good attention from the staff, nice vibes, would be great if they offer "clara" drink. Definitely will go back to try other dishes. They have a very efficient team working together, even in the peak dinner time, we didn't wait too long before seated.

The waitress is very unfriendly, the food is too spicy. I am very dissatisfied with the service of the waitress who threw the cutlery and drinks we ordered on the table... I waited for the bill for 10 minutes, then got up by myself and asked for it again. Terribly...

A view of the square and outdoor seating gives the venue a good atmosphere. The chicken sandwich was a little dry and crisps served on the side were stale. If you're looking for just a drink I'd say it's okay.

Great prices for the location on the plaza. The food was good and the wine drinkable at a decent price also. The one issue was one male server had horrible body odor and when he lifted his arm while opening the wine the smell was unpleasant. Not exactly friendly service but very business like.

Let’s start with giving 10 stars for our second ober: Michael. We came to König after reading about it in a foodies blog. We don’t understand the hype. The food was not special at all. The pan con tomate was really bad. How is it even possible to make something so simple so bad. The first ober didn’t understand what vegà, vegan or vegano was. So it was a struggle to order in the first place. A lot of credits to our second ober, who helped us perfectly with ordering!

Tastes really good and everything was served really quickly. We arrived before the crowd came and it does seem the staff gets a little overwhelmed once the crowd comes so plan on visiting when it's less busy or be prepared to order EVERYTHING before you sit down because you might be forgotten about. But overall a very nice experience.

Nice place for quick dinner, many different burgers abs sandwiches with a twist, and some Tapas too!!

The food is below average. Maybe it’s because the place is too big to handle: waiters are in a hurry and there is hardly personal contact. Better go to the Jewish part of the city El Call.

Great restaurant with great customer service, prices are shocking of how cheap they are compared to barcelona, large set of dishes to choose, the only reason I didn't give a five star the food didn't taste that great but still you get for what you pay, I will recommend it for anyone who ever visits the wonderful city of girona

Located beautifully right on the Placa de la Independencia with lots of food options ranging mainly in hamburger and sandwiches and tapas. Also offering a wide range of local and imported beers. I've had the patatas bravas, a cold sandwich with the local white sausage and cheese croquettes and dessert consisting of the local liqueur Ratafia. I've tried several patatas bravas but unfortunately the sauce was in my opinion the worst: Heavy, creamy and more like a mayonnaise instead of the fresh light slightly spicy tomatoe salsa that you get everywhere else. The sandwich and the croquettes were good as was the dessert. The staff was generally friendly and quick.

The most disgusting food I've ever tasted in my life! The squids and paprika were bitter, seems like the oil they were cooked in was very bad. I didn't dare to taste the crab sticks as I didn't want to get food poisoning. My friends had burgers and they were equally disgusting. Don't ever eat here.

Arrived late in evenimg and expected better. Food poor quality and servers not really interested in customers. Had a few drinks and left most of food. Not a great experience overall unfortunately.

Small portions, long waiting time, nice atmosphere.

Fast food. Used to be a great place to eat, but now it just feels like fast food that tries to appear rustic or almost fancy. Prices have gone up in the past few years, while portions have gone smaller.

Been here many times. Location is great for people watching. Can get too busy. Service is ok for most of the time. Food is good for its price.
