The best steak in town in a cozy, no nonsense setting for very good prices. Absolutely love it

I really have mixed feeling about this place and I’ll tell you why. We ordered the steaks and one starter. The starter with cold meat was great. I love that. First time to try cold cooked meat in this style and it just tastes sourish and meaty. Not sure what type of meat was that though! The steak quality was a bit questionable. The meat quality was far from being good. Especially somewhere in Spain where there are many good quality meat. By not good quality I mean it was chewy. It tastes okay and it cooked as expected, but it was super chewy. There was a thin skin on top of the meat which makes it that way. Taking the skin out is also a hell of the job!! Although it was still noticeable. The people working there were lovely. Super friendly with customers. It seems they try their best. Price wise, it was cheap. 11euros for steak definitely is less than average.

Absolutely amazing place. Simple, straightforward great food. They prepare it in front of you (no tables, only a bar) and everything comes out fresh, juicy and tasty. I recommend the choripan with fries (best value) and the empanadas. Will go for the milanesa soon. What a joy to find this kind of spots.

Still eating and relaxing in a casual, friendly atmosphere that is complimented by great service, great music and a blowing fan keeping me cool. From my experience the food is great, well cooked and of very reasonable price. This place is more of a small café, which takes away the fuss of a restaurant. If/when I return to Girona, I will return here.

Really really enjoyed this place. I'd researched and found it and was looking forward to it to cure my empanadas craving. But the choripan and the chimmichuri sauce was amazing, indescribably so! The owners are lovely and it's a tiny cute place only open in the evenings but it's 100% worth a visit even just for empanadas as an alternative to tapas snack!

Incredible, authentic Mexican food. Run by a lovely couple. We had the empanadas and the veal marinated in Chimichurri sauce. All home made. Not to be missed. The small bar is a great place to sit - soaking up the local atmosphere. Our only mistake - being too full to order the main dishes. The owner standing at the grill looked like he knew what he was doing. Will go back on our next visit to Girona.

It was one of the best place to have some South American cuisine. Recommend is steak . Really good taste with very good price . I never regret. Stuff are really friendly!! Highly recommend.

Small place but very very good meats. Real dulce de leche desserts. The cake is simply amazing. You can sit at the bar and watch the chef prepare the meat, you can even select it. They have a very good variety of meats.

Love to come here for the amazing empanadas whenever I'm in town. Have yet to try the rest of the food but it all looks and smells delicious. The owner is also very friendly and helpful

One of the best restaurants in girona to eat meat. I might have dined here more than 50 times, still the best chimichurri sauce you can find in Girona. It's really small but then they prepare the meat right in front of your eyes. The service is really excellent and their empanadas are really awesome! A review from the heart !

I had an Entraña and it was great. The may not using the best meat in the market but they really know how to cook it well! This is a casual place and the price was very reasonable.

Amazing food and very kind people. Best quality ingredients. The goat cheese gives so much taste to the dish. Recommend for everyone visiting Girona.
