Wonderful place! I was exiting Girona in the afternoons and saw this place. Being a vegetarian it was a bit difficult. But I could nice slice of Tortilla here. When the order came they also gave me breadsticks with tomato with the tortilla. The service was top class and the people there are absolutely gem as they made me feel very comfortable even though I didn’t speak Spanish. The environment and the wonderful wine there made my day. I highly recommend this place.

5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Rotisseria Girona ArEst is a true gem of a restaurant in Girona. We stumbled upon it on Google and decided to visit on account of other rave reviews - they were not unfounded. The ambience is warm and inviting, the open kitchen and the slabs of meat in the glass fridge a promise of good things to come. The food is outstanding. We visited twice and tried a variety of options. The set menu in the week is very good value. The roast chicken is delicious but the steak is really fantastic. And the fries are too die for. Portions are also very generous. But what really sets Rotisseria Girona ArEst apart is the warmth and hospitality of the staff. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel like you're part of the family. They were also incredibly generous, giving us multiple samples of their signature dishes to try. This made the whole experience of dining there more than just a great dining experience – it was an altogether great memory and experience for our trip to Girona. We ended up visiting Rotisseria Girona ArEst twice during our stay in the city and expectations were exceeded both times. If you're looking for a truly authentic and memorable dining experience in Girona, and wish to experience Catalan hospitality at it's best, look no further than Rotisseria Girona ArEst. You won't be disappointed!

Waited twenty minutes to get a menu. Lots of catching servers eyes, asking, someone cleared table and asked what I wanted and I pointed out I hadn't got a menu yet. He went away and never came back. I got up to ask, he apologised, but still no menu, so now, twenty five minutes after sitting down, I'm leaving. Maybe they don't like to serve foreigners or something

Albert, the owner, was the perfect host. He payed attention to us during the whole dinner. This made a real difference to many other restaurants in Girona. Unexpectedly good and totaly worth to enjoy both food and service.

One of the best experiences in Spain. We went there for lunch (it’s next to the bus from Girona airport). Good was amazing, great service, waiters spoke enough engish for you to understand, but they were very trying and helpful. I paid less than 15€ but got too full to even walk (3 course meal with drink), and quality of the food (atleast i have paella) was top notch. Highly recommend!!!

Best rotisserie in town! My husband and I were staying in Girona for a week. I love roast chicken and he loves grilled meat so we chose to dine here and it was so amazing that we came back the next day. The service is great and one of the waiters speaks very good English. Although we speak no Spanish, we had no problem at all getting what we wanted. The food is mind blowing. I highly recommend the secreto de porc was so tender and meaty with a hint of saltiness and smokiness. It was so delicious that my husband ordered exactly the same dish the next day. I ordered paella and I wasn’t expecting a rotisserie would serve such an excellent seafood paella. It was so fresh and beautifully cooked. The restaurant owner happened to be there too when we were there. And he is so friendly and passionate about food and treated us like guests at his own house. We look forward to coming back to Girona and coming back to this place very soon.

Had diner twice (filet & grilled chicken) and both dishes were absolutely the best. The filet being my favourite, cooked by people who understand meat. Recommend it.

Huge portions of incredible food served by ridiculously friendly and welcoming staff. Add in the free samples of home made sausages, dessert and digestifs and a princely feast was had for a paupers wage. Amazing value. Highly highly recommended.

Love the place! Walked a little from the center it is a hidden gem great and friendly staffs with great steak and fries. It was my friend’s birthday the owner gave us free limoncello and cheesecake so lovely!

I was blown away by the cuts of meat they have here. Especially the entrecotte they recommended. The person who I believe was the owner brought out this fine red wine called azabache, I was stunned at how well it paired. Highly recommended if you want to try the best steak Spain has to offer.

Incredible. Forget Nomo, if you're in Girona or even if you're passing through on the train and can pop out come here. We came in for lunch on a whim and ate the most incredible half chicken- smoked and spiced, buttafara (excellent local sausage) and more chips than you can shake a stick at. The whole place is full of delightful, helpful people and the price for the quality is borderline unbelievable. Don't dither, just come here.

Great food, nice people. Really good flame grilled meats and vegetables. Very reasonable prices. If you come late, they may be out of some things, but there are lots of choices. The staff is super friendly, and some do speak English rather well, if that's an issue for you.

An amazing experience. We ordered the fideau and its smoky flavor blew us away. The owner is a delight - friendly and eager to share his homemade limoncello which is like drinking lemonade and pure sunshine. We have one more day in Girona and are seriously considering a return visit tomorrow. We saw the meat portions served to other diners, and it’s quite substantial. Perfect for sharing. If you’re reading this and looking for a good food experience… you have to try ArEst. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely amazing food and great service. We were looking for a quick bit of food before we travelled to the airport and we saw this place near the train station. The food I ordered was unreal. Genuinely if you're a lover of steak you'll not be disappointed. Service was great and the lady serving us was very helpful. Portion sizes really generous too. Would definitely come again if we visit. The 3 meals came to €46. Great value for money.
