I don't know why people say this is a beautiful place worth visiting! This is just a metal bridge (for pedestrians), nothing more than that. Even though it was made by the guy who built the Eiffel Tower in Paris; guess because of that.

A bridge designed by Eiffel, who designed the Eiffel Tower in France. It had a similar steel structure and was very unique in that it did not fit in with its surroundings. It is a must see if you go to Girona.

The bridge has the best views of Girona. The red metal frame is very special and built by Eiffel.

It's one of the best views in Girona from where you can get many good pictures with its red metal structure. This bridge is catching eyes but you will find it always busy with everyone taking pictures of the city.

The Old Fishermen's Bridge is a pedestrian attraction! It divides the Onyar River, the part behind the old "one more" and the part without the modern one. It is one of the many popes of the historical course substitute and wooden viaducts. It is close to cases of penjades and in a truly unique glimpse. This state was made by Eiffel in 1877.

A very instagramable bridge, probably 2nd most visited place in Girona, just after the cathedral.

Great views over Girona with it's beautiful multicoloured apartments stacked on top of each other like a medieval game of tetris, it's a backdrop nearly as beautiful as Venice and it captures the afternoon sunlight.

What a beautiful historical city. You can definitely feel the oldness when you walk in the city. This bridge had a nice view over the river and you can see the amazing architecture of the houses next to the bridge. Don’t stretch too much time for Girona though, if you are a good walker you’ll easily see everything in 2 days. It was a bit hard to find a bar in the evening where they just serve drinks, usually in the evening the locals eat very late and they only give you a table if you order food as well.

A lot quieter in November so managed to get a few good photos, the foot bridge takes you into the old town.

Curious of this bridge that famous french engineer,Gustave Eiffel made here in Girona before Eiffel Tower was built in Paris. It was beautiful at night when we visited. The design and color really did make an interesting instagrammable effect. People can check it out when in Girona:-)

A very nice shortcut from the Independent Square to the other side of the shopping district. From here you can easily walk a short distance to the Cathedral too. Perfect! Lovely views in the morning and afternoon!

Very cool place over the river

Absolutely loved visiting Girona, the town was clean and a beautiful place to visit. We ate at one of the plaza restaurants and then had cookies from the Guilty Cookies. The food and service at the restaurant were both absolutely incredible.

I don't think the bridge itself is so remarkable, as are its surroundings. The fact that Eiffel designed it makes it very popular. However the sightings from there are remarkable and I recommend its visit.

There's several bridges that can take you across the Onyar River between the old and new sides of Girona. Most of them are pretty standard, but this one is unique with its red lattice frame. If you're crossing back and forth, you should at least make a point to take this footbridge at least once to check it out as well as views of the river.

Iconic Bridge of Girona. It was made by the same architect who designed Eiffel tower. If you pay attention, you could see how the brigde structure reminds you of the Eiffel tower of Paris. A picture here is mandatory.

Food is tasty, the service is great. The menu is extensieve. The food is fresh. They have a lot of space to seat. This is a really popular place to eat. You would just have to wait a bit for your food as everything is freshly made.

The Eiffel Bridge was constructed where four rivers meet. Girona has got eleven bridges!! The most famous is the one that was constructed by Gustave Eiffel - The Girona Steel Bridge (painted in Red) was built in 1876 by Gustav Eiffel, a French engineer with German roots.

The Eiffel bridge is build by the same person who later built the Eiffel tower in Paris a few years later. It's a simple design and ahead of it's time. The bridge isn't that nice (two stars), certainly not elegant nor does it blends well with the rest I'd the buildings along the river. It even blocks your view when you take pictures on the bridge. But the view is the best (five stars) along the river to get a great view if the colourful buildings and the cathedral in the background. Not to be missed when you visit Girona.
