A cylindrical tower connected to the city walls that once you climb up the narrow spiral metal staircase to the top, gives 360 views of Girona. For that reason, it's worth making the trip and climbing the stairs for. I noticed a lot of people would take a quick look at the staircase and keep moving, possibly not comfortable with the staircase and the dark room under the tower that it's in, but I didn't have any concerns beforehand or in hindsight. Note there's no shade on top, even though the views from above are worth a look.

Incredible views and a nice breeze after a long hike up and along the historic Girona walls. While once a defensive structure, the tower now serves as a scenic spot to enjoy the high breeze and breathtaking views. It is possible to look upon the steps of King's Landing as well as several paths from Queen Cersei's shame walk. But you will not be ashamed to walk the path to Torre de Sant Domènec.

Another one of the many towers along the reconstructed city walls of Girona, though not the ancient Roman walls having been constructed in the 14th century. It’s a large circular watch tower which you can climb up via a narrow spiral staircase. Once at the top, there’s great views of Montjuic mountain and the Convent of San Domènec. Worth a look if visiting the Girona walls.

From the tower you have a nice view over the city of Girona. You can also catch a good view of the University of Girona and the Cathedral of Girona (Game of Thrones). The tower and the wall are well-preserved and renovated.

Provides another good vantage point of Old Town. However when I visited today there were several sacks stacked in the tower so they were somehow an eyesore.

The Tower of Sant Domenec occupies perhaps the most advantageous position on Girona's city wall, commanding views of the old and new city. A major landmark is the Cathedral of Girona, an architecturally important monument that reportedly has the widest nave in the world.

Beautiful monument that imposes itself above the city. It can serve very well as a reference point.
