After I thought I would require an extraction Dr Ahmed and GDN Jenna looked after me and fully restored my tooth, with a completely pain free root canal treatment and beautiful new white crown. As a relatively nervous patient I came out amazed at just how easy the treatment was. I was put instantly at ease by the lovely reception staff, Jenna looked after me and Dr Ahmed was beyond gentle. If you are an anxious or nervous patient Dr Ahmed and Jenna are the team for you. If you’re not nervous you’ll love it too. I’m beyond pleased with my experience, and have always been over the years. I would highly recommend shawlands dental care, I've been using the service for about 10 years and I have to say the staff are extremely competent- from the reception staff all the way through to the dentists. I have had a range of treatments through the years, fillings, root canal treatment etc and today I had an appointment with the hygienist- who gave my teeth and gums a deep clean and gave a practical demonstration on how to correctly brush my teeth with an electrical toothbrush, as well as offer advice on how to keep my oral hygiene in top condition. Highly satisfied and recommend the dental practice.

Mr Ross was fantastic. Tooth removed without being put to sleep. Explained every step and managed to keep me calm. Thanked him after removing tooth so happy with his work. All staff are very helpful

This was the first time I'd used Shawlands Dental Care and I was very happy with my experience. Very friendly and professional! my dentist was extremely thorough and gave great advice. A nice modern practice and easy to park around the corner. Hope to be back.

Have had treatment here over the years and always a great service and all staff always polite and helpful. Just had dental work by Amara over last couple of weeks who is friendly and has a great patient manner and always explains fully what she is intending to do.

My son is registered here and we’ve never had a problem with the dentists. However there are new reception staff who are really rude. We were 3 minutes late and despite showing the receptionist my confirmation text time she insisted we were more than 10 minutes late and said the dentist may not be able to see us. We sat for 20 minutes before being seen and no apology for the delay. Heading back to S&A. Lovely receptionist there

My family have used Shawlands Dental care for several years. The reception staff are helpful and making appointments is easy compared to my experience at my previous dentist. The actual dental care we receive is also much better. I have a lot more confidence in the work they do and appreciate how my dentist always explains options for any work that needs done.
