This is one of the best attractions in Glasgow! We used to go for night walks along the river and enjoyed the view but decided to give this a try in summer. Although a bit on the expensive side but definitely worth a visit atleast once. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. I have a slight fear of heights and was having second thoughts in the elevator but the then I found myself mesmerised in the views and fear was gone! It's amazing to be so high up that you can see the entire city almost! Family liked it too and we got our certificates on the way out!!

We were impressed with Glasgow, a wonderful city, with clean streets, a great restaurant, and there are all kinds of stores close to each other for you to shop, at a great price. who haven't been to glasgow yet, i recommend to going, stay 3 days if you have your car, everything is easier for you to know all the places.

Wonderful way to view the city. We were able to go up with just our attendant, so it was nice and quiet. I think it would be great at dusk/evening.

Took the boys here and spent all day going round the building and still only managed to cover two floors as there was so much to see and do. I will definitely be looking for a family pass to this place.

This is a really fun day out for all the family and for all ages, lots of interaction with the displays. Good for education and school trips The tower was closed due to winter and high winds but I have done this in the summer before and is an great experience getting above the city a d looking all around and can see the whole city, it does turn so has different view points. The tower is wheelchair friendly however if in event of emergency then you would need to be able to walk down the stairs.

Showed up a bit after they opened on what had been a gray and rainy day. We ended up being the first group up as they apparently can't operate the elevator when the wind is over a certain speed. The view was amazing and the guide was knowledgeable about the towers unique construction and the visible landmarks.

This is such a fun place for any age. I would recommend if you are going along to have a good few hours so that you don’t miss anything. Also if you plan going up the tower try make it a clear day so as to get the best from the day. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Very scared of heights but went for it anyway and really enjoyed it, I don't know Glasgow very well but if you do you can appreciate it so much more. Very expensive though.

Great view of city, double check website before visiting as it only opens on nice days. Tallest structure in Glasgow.

I'm sure its an awsome experience on top but nature had other ideas. Went up down a couple of times but halted the lift due to strong gusts. Oh well may be some other time.

Absolutely stunning. Wasnt expecting to see this in 1 museum/science centre. I loved trying to run as quick as I can on that top floor. Staff are very friendly and helpful aswell. Illusion rooms are a literal landmark!

This view of Glasgow is fantastic although I think the price is a bit expensive, 11 pounds per two people, depending on your budget it can be worth it or not.

its a free standing tower balanced on a single point . you can book discounted science center tickets in advance and see if the weather is alright to go onto the tower itself . serviced by lifts and in case of high winds , you ll need to get down the stairs. the entry to the tower is on the left hand side of the cafe. volunteers are very helpful and informative. it is best to take a toilet break and postpone lunch if you are scared of heights. the tower sways ever so gently , you can only realise it when you see the signboards in the tower swaying . its an experience for all adults and children alike. you can see all the major landmarks on the clydeside from the tower.

(Translated by Google) I was not up there, but before that: the view from above must be spectacular at a 360-degree rotatable platform at a height of 105 meters! Like a giant asparagus it rises on the south bank of the Clyde at the Science Center. My photos show it. (Original) Oben war ich nicht, aber davor: spektakulär muss der Ausblick oben bei 360° drehbarer Plattform in 105 Metern Höhe sein! Great place for a day out and would highly recommend this to you and your family or friends ? it's especially nice in the summer when the sun is shining as the brease from the Clyde offers a really nice refreshing coolness to the area so it doesn't become to uncomfortable in the heat ! There is lovely places to see along the riverbank including the views from the tower itself which is magnificent my battery wasn't on enough charge so I couldn't take a video of the spectacle which is one to behold as the full city can be seen from atop . as it's officially the highest structure in Glasgow from the top which is specially built to turn on its axis 360 degrees so it is resistant from the wind and lessens the force in high winds which is excellently designed and reduses sway since it is streamlined with its futuristic look for asthetic reasons as well as eye candy ;) ? There is really great places to visit in the science center and also the armadillo where it even has an IMAX cinema incase the weather turns for the worse being Glasgow it always keeps you on your toes. All in all I wouldn't miss out on a trip down to this area if your visiting the city or just passing by on your journey from within.

If you have the time, definitely go up the tower and enjoy the stunning view of the city. But be sure you are okay with heights since the tower is narrow and can sway a bit in the wind.

Good sight and a great piece of Scottish sightseeing, however it hasn't been working since it was initially built.

Cool place. Lots of interactive exhibits, though it’s a bit pricey and the flight simulator is quite expensive - the science museum in London is free and the flight sim is 6-12 pounds, though they paywall the interactive exhibits (not sure on price, but probably less than a ticket here).

Worth the wait. Arrived at 1:45pm to discover there are scheduled trips to the top - with the next one not until 3pm! There was a bit of concern about the wind strength but the guide decided to take us up the lift on the understanding that we may have to walk down the stairs. He explained that the lifts are automatically recalled to the bottom in high winds. The views from the top were amazing and we could see all around for miles, we were however very fortunate with the weather.

The most amazing show I have seen, Pink Floyd's Dark side of the Moon in the Planetarium. I tried twice before to get there last year only to be stopped by snow in Glasgow itself and then snow around Glasgow airport meaning I couldn't get out of it when I got there..if you want a night to remember and you like music, go and see any show there..can't be missed for the price and the spectacle...first class. Hope to get to the Wall sometime.
