There
were
a
couple
of
good
points.
I
quite
liked
the
bed
which
was
clean,
comfortable,
study
and
had
privacy
curtains.
The
bed
was
the
highlight.
Overall,
the
hotel
was
clean.
Also,
the
hostel's
location
was
central
enough.
Finally,
the
service
at
the
front
desk
was
OK.
However,
there
were
a
number
of
things
I
wasn't
keen
on.
First,
having
an
ensuite
bathroom
in
an
8-person
dorm
was
a
bad
idea.
Every
time
someone
flushed
the
toilet,
they
woke
me
up.
Furthermore,
the
bathroom
made
the
room
smell
bad
at
times
(you
know
what
I
mean).
Second,
the
hostel
had
a
few
small
hangout
spaces
but
these
were
mostly
packed,
so
it
was
hard
to
find
a
place
to
hang
out.
Third,
most
of
the
people
staying
at
the
hostel
were
students
living
there
due
university
accomodation
shortages.
Consequently,
the
hostel
lacked
the
international
traveller
vibe
that
most
hostels
have.
Although
the
hostel
was
mostly
clean,
the
bin
in
the
main
social
area
was
overflowing.
Additionally,
you
must
have
your
own
padlock
to
lock
the
locker.
Really,
they
should
be
providing
padlocks.
Lastly,
£44
per
night
is
rather
expensive
for
a
hostel,
especially
an
average
one
like
this.
Overall,
this
hostel
is
acceptable
if
you
don't
want
to
pay
hotel
prices
and
just
need
a
bed
for
the
night.
Don't
expect
much
more
than
that
though.
