Worst restaurant ever, never recommend it even if they offer free meals. First of all, we came to Glasgow with my family for the weekend, we were a group of 12 people and 2 children. We called the restaurant to make a reservation because of the large number of people but they told us reservation cannot be made over the phone and it’s first comes first served. We walked in to the restaurant with no welcoming at all! No one welcomed us and when we said we want a big table, they asked us to wait and they will see if they can accommodate it. The restaurant was not very busy so they could’ve organised the tables for all of us. When one of us asked if we can have one more table, the staff member was very rude and said you have to sit in a separate table and if we are not happy, we can leave! We ended up sitting in two different tables, but we were very disappointed with the way we were treated. I walked to one of the staff asking to speak to the supervisor or the manager. The supervisor was the rude staff that handled us at the beginning. I walked up to him very calmly and said we don’t appreciate the way you treated us, we didn’t feel welcomed and we do not believe we were treated fairly. He said you disturbed our customers! I said but we are customers and we are not here to beg, we are going to pay. He said this is business and you can’t expect us to accommodate your request on the weekend. I explained that we understand but he could have been more polite when he told us that he can’t offer us a table for all of us. He was extremely rude and racist and we are considering taking a legal action because we felt very offended. Then someone from the kitchen came and said we have customers and we either sit down or leave. We said we will leave because of the terrible cucumber service and he said you can leave and call the police if you want to!!! We felt so disappointed especially this place was recommended by one of our friends. We took pictures of the rude staff and the place and we are reporting it to management because after a long day all we wanted is a quiet family dinner but all we got is asked to leave the restaurant because we asked for a better customer service. We are 12 people and all of us took videos and pictures and we are going to post them all around the social media platforms. We can’t express how terribly we feel after this incident, our night is ruined and three hours later, we are still looking for another restaurant to go to. Never go there, they will treat you as trash! Even one star is too much for them

Eda is a Turkish restaurant located in the heart of Holborn, London. It offers a wide variety of traditional Turkish dishes, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The restaurant is known for its warm and inviting atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious food. Food: The menu at Eda features a wide range of Turkish dishes, from appetizers to main courses to desserts. Some of the most popular dishes include the hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, kebabs, and baklava. The food is always perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the portions are generous. Service: The service at Eda is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they are always happy to help you choose the right dishes and wine. They are also knowledgeable about the menu and can answer any questions you may have. Atmosphere: The atmosphere at Eda is warm and inviting. The restaurant is decorated in a traditional Turkish style, with rich colors and patterns. The lighting is soft and romantic, and the music is traditional Turkish. Overall: Eda is a great place to experience Turkish cuisine. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Turkish dining experience. My personal experience: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Eda Restaurant with my son. We started with the hummus and Mixed Grill Platter, both of which were delicious. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and were very flavorful. We finished our meal with the baklava, which was a delicious and sweet way to end our meal. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience at Eda Restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Turkish dining experience.

My family and I have been here so many times. Having said that, there's no reason for me to tell you why. Great respectful atmosphere, great service, not bad for parking but above all, the food is amazing...everytime! Oh and the bread, oh my, you've never had bread like this in your life!

Absolutely sumptuous food! An explosion of taste. The side garlic and chilli sauces are full of flavour, the bread delicate and the main course deeply satisfying. Large portion a decent value for money. I had the veggie moussaka. Will return again and again.

I have passed this place many times while in Glasgow and we decided on our last night in town to go in. I'm so glad we did. We got seated right away, service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had the lamb moussaka and you were given a generous portion. It was a great way to end our trip. Definitely recommend 👌

Incredible food! It was the first time that I tried Turkish food and I don't regret it AT ALL! Everything was so tasty! My friend and I took the Mix Cold Meze, Sigara Boregi and Kizartma so we could try different things and it actually became our all dinner! Portions are massive, you can actually have two/three meals in a plate so bring your doggy bag - or ask for one - and enjoy yourself! The waiters were also very kind and genuinely happy, it is good to see smiling staff! The atmosphere is all very welcoming and warm. I think it's my favourite place in Glasgow!

Popped in when in Glasgow shopping. Absolutely delighted we did!!! We chose.... Kuzu Cuban kavurma (Main dish) Sigara buregi ....cigar shaped pastries with tasty spiced lamb filling...x 4 .... plus tasty salad and dressing Kalamar...calamari with salad and dressing..... Raita, hot sauce and onions served as garnish for the dishes. Chips and 2 bottles of coke. £45....... great value. Top quality ingredients used, cooked freshly and served promptly with a smile. Don't miss out.. give it a try. I would recommend 1 main dish and 2 or three smaller plates. Generous portions.

When you first look at the menu, it seems expensive. But when you consider the portions, the quality and also the considerate team, it is a bargain. The food was freshly cooked and delicious, they gave us great advice on what to pick and they also gave us some complimentary dip and beans. The bread was hot. Can’t wait to come back.

I was invited here by one of my Turkish friend Ibrahim … everything was absolutely amazing, fresh and full of flavours . Grilled meats was juicy and cooked perfectly… usually in other places grilled meats are dry but here i was surprised how soft and juicy they are . Service absolutely friendly and helpful. Place is really clean as well . I would recommend this place for anyone who looking for grilled food and Turkish cuisine. I will visit this place again with whole family soon … Thanks for today 👌👌👌👌👌😍

Visited this restaurant a few months ago and had an excellent experience. I really liked their lamb shawarma (picture with fork), it wasn't oily, cut was thick, and instead of a cheap shawarma smell from a takeaway, it had a wonderful aroma and taste. I picked up a couple of shawarmas from them yesterday for takeout (2nd picture). This was like a 4 pounds donner thinly cut from any bad takeaway. Full of oil and smell...

My family and I had a wonderful meal at Eda. This was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The meal began with hot, fresh baked bread accompanied by an assortment of delicious condiments. Our main course was delicious with generous portions.

As a visitor to Glasgow, coming into the Eda restaurant was such a delight so much so that I went back with a few friends the next day. The food is so tasty and full of flavour with great presentation. It catered for the vegetarian and halal needs of my group. I would recommend

I've eaten here a few times on my visits to Glasgow. I can safely say that they make the best lamb doner ever! The aubergine lamb is excellent as well and so is the mixed grill. The starters are ok. The Turkish tea is superb! It's nice to see that the manager patiently trains the young students who serve here part-time. They are very polite and despite the high pressure during busy times, they learn to manage the floor with grace.

These guys really look after you from the minute you walk in. Solo traveller so can sometimes be ignored in other establishments but not here. Food and staff are great. Try the spicy roasted chicken wings, you will be back !

Good Turkish food, centrally located, metered street parking nearby which is easier to find in evenings and free after 18:00. Good atmosphere but pricey. Good thing is that Eda is not shy to advertise itself as حلال like some other Turkish food places 👍🏽.
