We did the virtual tasting for my dads birthday and it was brilliant. Camilo was very knowledgeable and lovely and it was a nice touch that the guests were good fun too! Favourite of the night was the Glasgow 1770 & Old Particular Inchgower 21. Thanks for a fun lockdown night! We'll be back. Frankie & Oli x

I attended the virtual whisky tasting hosted by Once Upon a Whisky and I loved it! The whiskies were great, accompanied by a super interesting storytelling about the production process, the history of whisky production in Scotland and how to follow the correct steps of a whisky tasting. I had a really great time and I will definitely book another one!

My partner and I did the virtual "Sherry Christmas" whiskey tasting and it was brilliant. We purchased a dram each at the same time as ordering the kit as a momento and it's very fairly priced. Really good selection of international and national whiskeys. Camilo was engaging, very knowledgeable and really interacted well with the audience, making everyone feel engaged and that questions were answered thoroughly. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be doing another in the following months (as the whiskeys change each month!). Thank you!

I take a Tour of Whisky. It is a very particular trip. I use a QR code to have the access of a Camilo's video in which he explained all details about the whiskey in the box. It was so interesting and a really appreciate it. I like over all the smoked (I imagine it added to low temperature pork cooking) The second is the scotch whisky.

I took part in the online whisky tasting experience. Camilo was a fantastic host. He was very friendly and knowledgable and I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn about Scotland’s national drink!

I attended this tour in the middle of September with one other friend, and we learned so much about Scottish whisky. As someone who was only a minor whisky fan before the tour, I went home and bought several bottles to expand my tastes — and it's all due to the tour hosted by Camilo Gomez! Great information, great conversation and really great whisky. You can't go wrong!

Cam is an extremely knowledgeable and fun guide. We had a fantastic time on the Glasgow tour. I didn't know much about whisky or how to taste it properly, but after trying the selection Cam curated for us, I was able to experience different types of whisky from different regions and discover the perfect type of whisky for me.

We joined Cam and a great bunch of fellow tasters on a fantastic few hours of exploration into the regions of single malt Scotch whisky. Although we are whisky aficionados, we learned some new things and discovered a couple of hither to, unexplored distilleries. Everyone learned something from the others on the tour and Welsh , Scottish, South African and Columbia’s got on just fine and enjoyed the communion of a few fine drams. Highly recommended , Cam has a passion for the water of life that he brings to life which will help beginner or expert, find an new appreciation and way of thinking about single malts. The choice of venues will intrigue and surprise also!

Cam provided us an extensive insight into the world of whisky. We were provided four different styles of whisky at three different bars across the west end of Glasgow, with only a brief but welcome walk between each. Cam was friendly, warm and happy to talk on any topic. My wife and I both feel we are now in control of our whisky selection.

The three hours with Camilo were excellent. Not only did we learn how to appreciate Whisky properly, but he could also answer any of our follow-up questions. It's expensive, but really worth the money!

We had a great time tasting different Whiskeys and learning about different Distilleries. Camilo was a great host! I would recommend this tour for anyone new to Scotch Whiskies or just want to learn more about them!

Loved this tour! Cam was so knowledgeable and passionate about the different whiskies he introduced us to, as well as the bars and neighbourhoods in Glasgow where we visited. This was a great way to start off my weekend trip. I really enjoyed the small group format, we were able to ask as many questions as we wanted and learn so many things. I went out and bought a bottle of the first whisky we tasted the very next day to bring home. Thank you, Cam!

What an awesome evening!!! Camilo is such a wealth of information on Scotch Whiskey. Being a Bourbon drinker, I had no knowledge on Scotch, Camilo made Scotch drinker of me. Great pubs and a great variety of Scotches consumed on the tour. Nothing short of FANTASTIC!!

Cam was excellent - his knowledge of whisky was amazing and we learned a lot! Also went to several really interesting bars that you probably wouldn't visit as a tourist. Fantastic afternoon.

Went on the private whiskey tour of Glasgow’s West End with my father and it was an incredible experience. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to know more about whiskey, whether you are already an expert or a novice. One of the most unique and fun experiences I have had in Glasgow. Camilo was a fantastic guide and knew more about Whiskey than anyone I had ever met before.

Excellent company! I recently bought I poster off them at Etsy which the delivery company promptly lost in the post. I contacted them to see if they could investigate it on their side and they were super professional and really friendly. I dealt with Camilo, who kept my up to date through every step of the way. Oh… and their poster oozes quality!

Camilo is a fascinating person who knows a lot about Whisky. We did a Whisky tasting with him and even though I’ve been drinking Whisky for a long time I learned a lot. It was more then I was expecting and I wish I could give more then 5*.

Full disclosure, we booked a 120 euro tour (for 2) which we knew would include strangers rounding out the tour group. Cam reached out in the days prior saying that no one else had booked the tour and we could either reschedule, cancel, or pay an additional 80 euros (for 2) which would also get us “higher quality whiskey.” As that was the only day we had free, we chose the 80 euro option. The tour included four pubs walking distance to each other and one shot each (total of four shots) of whiskey, one per pub. While Cam was knowledgeable, though not natively Scottish, he wasn’t as versed in the details of the history or the making as I would have thought and I found my basic knowledge of the process and history a decent match for his. The whiskeys were a decent representation of what’s available, and the pubs were off the beaten track. For 60 euros each, it’s not a bad deal for 3 hours and four drams, but with the additional cost we could have spent a little more and had a driving tour to several local distilleries. I think that would be the best bang for our buck.

Superb whisky tour of Glasgow's West End, visiting some of the best pubs and drinking some of the best whisky around. Camilo is engaging and hugely knowledgeable, and shares his love of whisky enthusiastically. I can't rate this business highly enough.

What a great tour! Cam was so knowledgeable and friendly. I was travelling alone but he did so well to include the group in all of the conversations whilst also letting us get to know each other. My whisky knowledge is at a decent level but I learnt so much again in such a short space of time. Thank you!

My wife and I did the Glasgow West End experience. Apart from the fantastic selection of whisky tastings we were provided at each of the venues, the great part was seeing new and interesting bars. Our host also answered every annoying question and was full of detailed information on Whisky and various general knowledge trivia surrounding the subject! Also great to do this in a more intimate group of people, with the chance to make some new friends. Would recommend!

Great time was had by all. Cam was very knowledgeable and the tour was never dull. I and my friend both learned a lot. If you are interested in learning about Malt whisky then it's well worth the money.

Camilo was fantastic! he was so knowledgable and made learning about the whisky process so delightful. The Whisky was delicious, myself and my colleagues loved the entire experience. I highly recommend this for corporate events specifically, but also if you just want to learn more about whisky.

We had a brilliant whisky tour in Glasgow with Camillo. We learned so much about whisky and the whiskies themselves were delicious. He was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. We got to visit 4 of the most iconic whisky venues in Glasgow. All in all, a top experience and we'd recommend it to anyone looking for a whisky experience!

A wonderful and personal tour of bars and whiskies. Each pub and each whisky were unique -- no tourist traps! The whiskies were very different and demonstrated a different region and style -- Cam provided all the info and context to be able to drink them informedly. Highly recommend if you are in Glasgow and want (to learn about) whisky!

What great night with some great whiskies (correct spelling because these were all Irish). Camilo’s presentation was full of interesting information about whisky/whiskey. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about the production and history. I would certainly do this again. Cheers Cam.

Camilo was so enthusiastic and incredibly knowledgeable about all things whisky. So enjoyed the Irish Virtual Whiskey Tasting. Camilo really explained so well all the processes that each individual whiskey sample we tasted goes through. So interesting to hear some of the background stories and histories behind each dram. Well done and congratulations on a superbly enjoyable evening. Here's to the next time!!

This tour was absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it. Cam was really friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome and relaxed. We found out so much about the history and preparation of whisky and how to get the most out of the tasting experience. We also got to try some beautiful whiskies including some from smaller distilleries that are not as well known that we wouldn't even have thought of trying otherwise (but will definitely have again). Go on this tour if you're into whisky - you will not be disappointed
