We visited the bar and we taste Scottish food. At first warm soups really tasty and after the traditional heggis with smash potatoes and pumpkin. The service was quick and friendly. Nice place to eat and drink

Yeah decent pub in merchant city, decent selection of whisky, good service, peaceful enough. Good place for a beer.. Update..£6.10 for a pint of Heineken. Your having a laugh, I'm not in London folks

Here for a small friends gathering. Food was pre ordered ahead of the day. Some starters missed, main courses very late out. Food was ok staff very friendly and did knock meals off bill.

Lovely little bar with rooms , stayed last got to say that both staff members I dealt with were fantastic. The lad doing breakfast this morning was super polite and professional. Had a lovely breakfast. The bed was really comfy and nice and clean but the rest of the room really now needs updated as there was numerous issues in room that need addressing. It would have got 5 stars if these are fixed and updated . Got to say though it's the staff that make a place and they really do have some hard working staff there. I would stay again as they do explain on website it's like Fawlty towers on gourmet night 🤣 Overall a very pleasant trip and thanks go to all the staff.

Tab Ha’s was recommended to us by a tour guide for a great place to try local food and we couldn’t have been more impressed, the staff were welcoming and friendly, the food was amazing and there was a great range of local beers. I would definitely recommend others to eat here.

Always love the location, around the corner from bus stop.. Went in for a couple of drinks and nothing else. Prices a bit expensive but for city centre what else can you expect, also it is a hotel so prices will be higher. Service polite but it was around 11.30am so nobody else in. I'm sure that the atmosphere is different in the evenings.

Stayed overnight and had amazing dinner and breakfast (as you can see in the photos). The staff went way beyond expectations. I would definitely return to this gem. The var and food area is small, so book in advance if you can. Great for food, or just a drink, as well as buffer rooms to stay. They also have a function suite downstairs, which is handy if guests want to stay and make a night of it. Staff kept a hold of my cases after checkout, too, which ibcollected 12 hours later. I love this place and highly recommend it for a stunning meal in a variety with loadsa history.

Staff were amazing. Place was packed (always a good sign) and we managed to grab a picnic table outside. Atmosphere was great and weather was awesome. The food was superb. We tried lots of small plates and loved every one of them.

Went to the pub on a recommendation. It’s a very busy place, which is a good indicator. We ordered Haggis Neeps and Tatties with Peppercorn Sauce. My first experience with haggis. It was delicious, the turnip and potatoes perfect, and the peppercorn sauce great. Also ordered the steak pie with fries which were as good as it gets. Sticky Toffee Pudding was wonderful. This place serves first class food. We loved it. The wait staff are friendly.

What can I say this place is amazing. We will definitely be going back again. The room was brilliant just want we needed nothing too fancy and the bed was really comfortable. The staff are lovely and friendly and give you a really welcoming feeling. The food 😋 😍 oh my days we had the steak pie and it was the best pie we have ever had. The cooked breakfast that you can get for an extra charge is amazing and if you have never tried haggis or black pudding. My advice is try it you may surprise yourself I did and enjoyed it. Could not fault the level of Customer Service here at all it is truly unbelievable definitely 5⭐️ in my book.

Popped in for lunch today, not booked but the staff found us a table. Had fish and chips and the chicken burger, absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

Staff were great as there were no tables to eat initially but they helped sort that. The food we had was all good and a fantastic selection of drinks. Had a friend over from the States and they enjoyed the whisky and haggis. Lovely ambience and homely feel to the pub which comes from the building itself, the people and also the staff. Recommended.

We were just in the pub. The service was really slow. We had to ask someone eventually to take our food order. I had the Thai chicken. It tasted nice but there were only a few pieces of chicken. Others had steak pie and enjoyed it. I would say nice pub for a drink. Too noisy for a meal.

Solid 5 stars for me. We had a room for the night just to crash after a party and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it actually was, the staff were also really nice. We were at an event and got home at like 1am and the bartender offered us a free drink to take up to our room before he closed for the night. And a decent continental breakfast. I think this is going to be our standard spot whenever we go to Glasgow.

I stayed at the hotel for one night. Pros: Great location! Just a few minutes walk from the square, train station, and airport express bus stop, and lots of fun to be had nearby. Good value. At $80 for the night (a deal on Agoda) I think this was a great value location. Clean enough. Clean sheets, towels, and bathroom. Really nice staff. They were lovely and allowed me to store my bag for the day, as I arrived to Glasgow. Cons: No security lock. I’m not sure if this is standard or not, but as a solo traveler I wish there was a second lock on the door. Not super clean. The grout in the shower was black in spots and needed a good bleach and scrub. The carpet didn’t feel very clean, and parts of the room were a bit dusty. A little wear and tear. The room felt ready for fresh paint and a little TLC. Noisy. I could hear everyone in the room next door, and people shouting on the street. I think would be fine-ish with a set of earplugs. Overall, would potentially stay here again, for the value!

Best place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The place is local to all amenities and easy to get to. Rooms are great and the bed is comfortable. Will be staying again and recommend it to others

Love the vibe of the place. First class location, immaculate inside and out plus the staff were top notch. The personal feel was far better than a plastic corporate chain. Essentially it is a pub with rooms so not gonna be The Ritz but in its league it's right up there with the best of them. Only critique is the shower worked fine but the fixture needing, erm fixing. It had seen better days. Absolutely reccomended and will stay again next time I am in Glasgow.
