I have been a frequent user of the gym here for a few years and I'm happy with my membership. Staff are usually friendly and helpful. Good showers. Lockers in the changing room are great without need for padlocks or awkward keys with plenty of room, enough for full motorcycle gear. Used the courts and swimming pool on occasion and been happy with the process. Gym kit is fantastic, great selection of machines and free weights. 4 squat racks mean you can always get on one rarely having to wait long. Staff could be more vigilant to keep on top the small things. On occasion, paper towels and provided spray run out. I mention it to staff who are usually happy to help, sometimes I've left nearly an hour later without them being replenished. Cleanliness can be an area for concern, I've mentioned to staff and emailed about especially concerning displays of poor hygiene which don't get addressed, some lockers in the changing room have been dirty for months. The lack of an operational sauna is very disappointing considering the recently installed one is determined too expensive to run. It's the main element making me consider leaving Glasgow Club for a gym that offers one. I am so happy otherwise I'll be staying for the foreseeable.

They were not able to reopen the Sauna and jacuzzi since 2020, which is more than pathetic now. These were just renovated pre Covid and we are not able to use them for 3 years and there is no hope, that we can use them anytime soon.

I have been at swimming pool on Sunday 1st October. There was few foreign women with lots of children. Definitely they broke all possible rules (leaving the diaper on the side of swimming pool, had more than 1 non swimmer child under 4 years old, using line for playing instead of swimming and not listening to lifeguards at all). Reception should count every children before let them in because this threatened the health and life of these children.

I have been member of this club since few months. I found this club amazing. Staff is really good and attentive. They keep upmost hygiene and maintain cleanliness. It has plenty of activities with really good fitness sessions. Highly recommended if you want to build a fitness routine. I always get positive vibes.

this club is absolutely filthy, i’m particular the weights area and changing areas. i saw an old man pick his nose and wipe it on the weights and told a member of staff and nothing was done. the classes are also of poor quality and never seen to run to time. they are also ran in an unsafe way and resulted in a injury which is still causing me pain months later. avoid at all costs!

I like it. Plenty of equipment for a woman. In the mornings and afternoons not so full. It is quite clean. Some of the coaches are very helpful and help better than others with equipment and you can ask for a program. There is body composition measuring 'thing'. It measures your fat percentage, muscle mass and other things. It is inspiring to see changes.

The tennis courts are good and covered for all weather and well lit and has fans to ventilate it when hot, but gets a bit too warm at times. They have a trainining ball machine as well. The tennis lessons are good and the coach is great. They have kids and adult lessons and ladies only sessions. It is a great fun experience. The gym is great and has many many machines. The other indoor courts are ok not big.. But the surface is good and is always clean. The classes seem very popular and good music is used. The swimming pool is ok. Half the of Olympic size. I particularly do not like the 1 hour swimming pool booking. The deep end is not deep at all so is very safe. The water slide never used it but when it is open it is quite popular.. Some staff are very helpful and knowledgable on services. Some not so helpful. The changing rooms are small but okish.Toilets ok at times are broken. all in all a good place. The area is not great so at times you may bump to uneducated people that may annoy.

Was met and instructed by Sharon. Very encouraging and I felt she really knew her stuff in the gym. Just need to keep the momentum and let the pounds fly off

My experience is related to the Gym so far , An amazing staff ,very helpful. Plenty of space , hoping more equipment keep coming in , it's already excellent but it can be more improved. For me personally it's a safe place for relaxing, be focused on myself and build my body in a healthy lifestyle.

We took our grandson so he could go for a swim and got him booked in no problem from 3 till 4. Only big pool open. Take advantage soon, if this covid gets worse a everything may be shut. 🐻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🦄

Recently rejoined this gym after returning from lock down. Unfortunately some of the staff are rude, bossy, pushy and generally unpleasant. This may be driven by the lack of investment or money at this time. The automatic doors are broken, meaning you have to queue to get into the gym and locker rooms. Generally I'm very unhappy with this total lack of customer experience and will be taking my money elsewhere. Good luck Glasgow club. X

It's mad how you can jump into a pool Full of people. 🤔 But you can't use a sauna with around 4 maybe 10 people ☹ But a you can go to a private GYM and You's a sauna. That also has to obey the Law. 🎓. Well I'm off to a free sauna. It's called loch lomond .🙋‍♂️

Disappointed! Trying to book my children for swimming lessons for years now and they keep saying they don't have any spaces! When one of my sons had his lessons through school so clearly they have spaces but they wouldn't sign him for next block! Staff has no clue every time you ask them simple questions and keep sending to their website where you can't find any info. Swimming coordinator for Gorbals swimming pool doesn't reply to emails. I have sent several emails and so far they have all been ignored!!! Shambles

I visited Club Gorbals while on holidays and it is very well fitted out for training. But what I liked equally as much was the friendly vibe of the place. Typically when you go to a new gym the only people who might talk to you are the staff, but at this gym, I was basically treated like a local, even if half the people I talked to couldn't understand my accent. And at only £6 per visit it's an absolute bargain.

Good place, but charging £20 for an hour of a tennis court is way too much!! This my score. The problem is there is no other covered court in Glasgow, which is nonsense!!

We often hung up on “the gym experience” and I was told by a friend to avoid the ‘council gym’….they were wrong the Glasgow Club is a good service and Gorbals is a cracking gym, busy but not rammed, good range of equipment, excellent help and you can always hit the pool after

Paying maximum prices for minimum swim time is not ideal. No kids area, no longer than an hour, you might aswell go private at this point because there's nothing special about this place

Amazing gym especially the treadmill that comes with screen access to various different types of entertainment. Could benefit from more weightlifting machines.

The gorbals leisure centre is very poor a lot of the equipment is broken in the gym. The swimming main pool is only working sauna and jet pool are out of order. It is difficult to book for lane swimming. This is very poor when you are paying a lot of money for membership.

Not so friendly club for Badminton lovers. For Badminton , they keep on misinterpreting the policies for badminton users and new rules on the name of covid, whereas every rule policy and guidelines are exempted for lawn tennis ground user. There can be 16 peole at the same court at same time without wearing masks or following social distance , but not 5- 6 people together in Badminton court. What a hypocrisy...

Disappointed as only big pool available and that has to be booked in advance with only a short time allocated to you. Also run swimming lessons but that stops others from using the pool altogether. And not worth the price at all unfortunately

Best gum and equipment I've used in a gym for such a low monthly fee.
